I tried the following build yesterday :
It works pretty well, I have a better survivability than with my previous one (Thanks TheGuy).
I use P/D + D/P.
The D/P 3 permits to go on dagger range with blindness active, it permits a good opening with : D/P 3 + P/D 5 + P/D 1.
With Geomancy Sigil it also apply bleeds on switch.
D/P 3 also permits a pretty good mobility to evade melee or chase a caster or ranger.
D/P also offer the healing reduction poison, and a daze.
So I use mostly P/D but D/P offer some good occasional utilities.
1st bad link. second is also bad due to being french. iam very succesufll with.
pistol whip nerfed, not best for me know becouse it doesnt kill fast enough, so enemy escapes

You have to copy/past links, yours is also bad when directly clicked.
I’ll try it that way in my next pvp session :
I agree with you for pve but for pvp I made some adjustments :

For PvP in Shadow Art I want to keep VIII (Hidden Thief) as it permits to go on contact in stealth while casting caltrops or other long casting ability. For the last trait I don’t know how to choose between XI & IV (regen or remove condition).
In Trickery I want to keep V to give a 10s swiftness bonus to my team-mates and me.

Thanks for your feed back, I use this build in pvp but I was thinking also about using it in pve.
I use 0/0/20/20/30 mainly for fleet of foot for pvp.
But I’ll try a 0/0/30/10/30 with your suggestions to compare.
Superior rune of the undead might be interesting for a condition damage / toughness build :
(1): +28 Condition Damage
(2): +15 Toughness
(3): +55 Condition Damage
(4): +35 Toughness
(5): +100 Condition Damage
(6): 5% of Toughness becomes Condition Damage
My opener is caltrops + steal (to drop them on the target) + sneak Attack (pistol from stealth).

And a video of a test vs svanir :

It is based on bleeding and stealth.
I post this to have some feedback what would you change in this build.
I hesitate on Pistol/Dagger + Shortbow vs PP & DD
Another solution would be to open as many fronts as needed to permit a maximum of players to participate.
For example with arbitrary numbers. If there is 3 servers A, B and C with respectively 1000, 900 a 800 players waiting for WvWvW.
You can open 4 maps of 200 peoples. This way you have only 200 players waiting for RvR on A, 100 en B and none on C.
It require to manage grouping when the population decrease over time.
+1
I’d really like to have a good GW2 experience on GNU/Linux.
Ideally with a native client.
People from Valve software made an amazing DirectX OpenGL translation layer. It is specific to their source engine, but as they want to promote Linux as a gaming platform they might be able to give good advices on the subject.
Nobody interested ?
Please offer overflow server mechanisms for WvWvW even if it is not rated.
We’d realy like to play this game mode.
Yesterday with my guild-mates we tried to organize a WvWvW evening. At best we where able to have 4 people in.
For example I entered the queue at 22:00 and successfully entered the desolation map at almost 02:00…
