Semantics. Just because one race is a predator doesn’t devalue another race’s gifts.
For instance, the Norn have a core virtue of robust spirit, and endurance. I imagine it would be tough to keep a Norn from attaining whatever goal they had in front of them.
I wasnt devaluing anyone, i love Norn.
I’m sorry you feel that way. If that were true however, then they would have closed those options. The Legions are against religion, not magic. There is a distinct difference between the two. The Shaman class beefed up the Flame Legion, and that’s what got kicked out of the Citadel, not ALL magic using people.
So, I really can’t agree with you there, Grunt.
Well itd be a pretty dirt move to just not allow the magic classes into Iron, for the sake of gameplay anyway. Im just saying that i dont believe Iron would make much, if any use of magic at all, they REALLY hate Flame and especially the shaman caste after all.
Im surprised any of them die of old age, i bet they hate going out like that.
Iron is all about logic, technology and progression, after hundreds of years of tyrannical backwards rule by magic-users, the Iron Legion would never use magic, any class but magic users fit with the Iron Legion, they do after all have their own standing army of soldiers along with their war machines.
Charr are naturally predators, an unarmed Charr vs and unarmed Norn its likely the Charr will win, however when you bring weapons and armor into the equation it more boils down to either warriors martial skill with a weapon, the physiology of the two would be minor when it came to an armed fight, but the Charr would have the advantage in overall size, lower height, possibly faster due to the feline nature of the race, whereas the Norn would have advantages in being taller, longer reach etc
Other than that they are pretty much the same, raised from birth to be warriors and soldiers, i guess thats why they get along so well, the only difference is ones a 10 foot humanoid and the other is a 9 foot cat monster.
It bugged me too but when i thought about it, it makes sense that you cant fire bullets out of your off-hand pistol, mainly due to the fact that is spews fire and sticky glue, i doubt there would be enough room within the weapon itself for any bullets.
I reported this in the bug forums about a week ago, nothing yet though.
I dont know if this has been reported before and excuse me if it has but recently using the “Hidden Pistol” charr skill and utility skill “Hidden Pistols” as an Engineer ive noticed he is shooting them right into the air, its just a graphical error but its quite annoying, the dual pistol firing is one of my favourite animations in the game.
The Cathedral gear in Orr for Karma looks great on every race methinks, so bulky and leathery, big satchels, definetly going to use it.
I do like this idea and i commend the thought you have put into this, i would very much like to see something like this rather than (shudder) the mortar.
Visually within the game i think it should appear the same, or similiar to the flak cannons that shoot down the Claw of Jormag in Frostgorge Sound, they have a really nice cannon/railgun look to them.
Also on Fergusons Crossing, every Cathedral has been bugged the past 4 or 5 days except for the Cathedral of Dwayna, half of Orr on this server is contested/bugged out.
With the amount of people reaching level 80 youd think this would be at the top of their list to fix since everyone is basically being denied their Karma gear from the cathedrals.
They are a feline race, when you find a cat that walks completely upright ill care whether my Charr is slighly hunched or standing tall, also theyre so huge i doubt standing completely up would add much to their intimidating form, i already take up the same mass as like 3 or 4 humans.
Bipedal Cat Monsters.
Charr Cultural Tier 2 helmet is one of the best in my opinion.
Only 1g to get, very Charr looking.
