Sounds good.
kitten ts is always good news.
Its been ages since I last played probably 8 months at least. I got a bit bored as the crafting seemed so grindy and the AH was to expensive for my casual play time and was hating the bot infestation.
I have an itch to play again and wondered if the AH has become more affordable and have the bots been reduced drastically?
Im getting horrendous delays playing my Thief currently. The delays in button press to action is putting me off and fo some weird reason making me a bit quezy so ive called it a day until either your end sorts out the issue or Virgin media my ISP stops being a PIA. It can be either that is responsible for latency and either never take the blame so ill stick to SP made games today me thinks.
I come back tonight after stopping my playtime after the message i left yesterday. The rubber banding/skill delay or warping characters is still there.
Looks like a driver issue. The blue is a shadow or main texture not loaded properly by the looks of it
For a game that prides itself on amazing art design (i remember the vids on youtube with that art specialist fella) clipping hair boggles the mind especially beards poking through face masks on my ranger.

I get disconnected and i dont use the authenticator as i dont have a “smart phone” capable of using “apps”
“Reflections” is what kills my FPS (15-25) if i have it on max. Some maps it isn’t as bad as others so by default i keep it to “off” so i can get 40-60Fps in most cases.

I am still stunned how much detail and quality is in this game and a game that has no recurring subscription simply leaves me in awe.
I dont ever rush to get to end levels and those that do will always suffer boredom. Thats your fault for your impatience.
Add a system that’s good at detecting continuous identical patterns in character behavior or warping locations. The offending player could be frozen to the floor until a GM took a look at them because they were alerted to the offending players activity based off of continuous co ordinate based paths impossible to replicate by a human hand.
One thing about the use of bots. They are there because they feel they have a service that players will need/use.They only sell items on the trade systems for MMOs because they accumulate gold to sell online.
Simple solution just dont ever ever buy from their websites and if we all did this they would lose interest fast. Players are buying game currency from them otherwise they wouldn’t bother, right?
The situation needs to be handled very quickly because the industry of gold or virtual items farming and selling is an extremely shady one. Do a search on Chinese prison guards and gold farming and you will get what i mean. The part that bothers me most is that these corrupt businesses will resort to almost anything which means that until you rid the issue fast i will never financially support the game further by buying anything from your gem store. I do want to show my support from time to time because i feel its deserved because this is a better game than i could have imagined for one that has no recurring subscription but i cannot allow my credit card details to be saved on a system that has a very corrupt business running around inside it unchallenged. The level of severity of this issue will be up to you Anet and the difficulty to remove them will be greater the longer this goes on.
If you own an nVidia GPU. GW2 is not the game for you

I don’t know what they did in todays patch but i can run reflections and ultra shadows and it doesn’t kill the game like it did prior to the patch.
AMD FX8150 & GTX 680 user.
Seeing as us 600 series users suffer with awful FPS on high settings i tweaked a bit to see which settings are the worst offenders for the bad performance.
The two settings that really kill the FPS for me at least are the reflections and shadow settings. By turning off reflections completely and setting shadows to medium the areas that had the worst FPS like Bandit Haunt Caverns in Queensdale (15FPS) i get a steady 25. And for the areas outside that were 25-30 i can get an easy 60FPS most of the time and at worst 30 in the smoke and fire effect areas like torches.
I would prefer to have all maxed as it looks great with the water reflecting everything and the sharpness of shadows on all sources but the FPS bothers me so this is a nice medium ground whilst Nvidia sort out the drivers or Anet sort out the game which ever is the culprit.
