You say solution, but I don’t see a problem with Dragonhunter. I am actually looking forward to it.

Mounts should work like the witch broom if they are added. Not increasing speed at all, just a cosmetic addition. They would just need to bind a button to a new slot for the mount and allow the broom and drill to be considered in the same category.

Dragonhunter

So I know a lot of people already hate dragonhunter, but doesn’t it make sense in a way? Just because it is a dragonhunter doesn’t mean they can only hunt dragons, but is capable to hunt them with the tools? A frontal block, a spear that does constant dmg in range, a move to get in range to swap to a melee in addition to meditations, a longbow attack to destroy projectiles, and the option of traps to fight the minions of the dragons. All in all, doesn’t it sound like they gave the guardian the tools to fight the dragons, especially with the wyvern they showed that flies around?

So last year was so great was it? Have you ever heard of hydrocephalus? Go ahead and google it if you have to. There are children suffering from this and it makes their heads swell. Tell me now that plane crashes are more important than those children. Oh, but I guess they just aren’t in the media enough, right?

My point is that there wasn’t any outrage last year because it’s a game and doesn’t have any bearing on events in the real world.

But if you really want to go into similarities, how about the Zephyrite airships crashing on fire and the Hindenburg?

Now to the second topic. While the joke may have been completely innocent, ArenaNet should have looked into public events and changed what they were doing or had nothing at all.

This a major company with enough resources to, at the very least, read the daily news on their smart phones. Someone had to have known what happened recently and they should have stopped this before it happened.

So let me ask you this. If you are so concerned about this and think it is in bad taste, where were you last year for the big bobble heads when there are children suffering from hydrocephalus? I mean if you really want to go onto the childish old leather flying cap and making airplane noises and complain because there was a crash, where were you last year?

So an airplane crash that happened recently is more important than the other airplane crashes from last year and before?

I didn’t see anyone complaining about the big heads being offensive last year so I guess that was OK with you, right?

Am I imagining this, or did they say before that they were looking at making it a visual on your belt?

No new race? Disappointing.

I read this and it isn’t just a new class, they created a new class and a whole new system that allows them to add weapons and change class mechanics with an option to toggle it back and forth onto the current classes. I think adding a new system like this is a lot better for the game as a whole as it means that we can expect other specializations in the future. It also probably means it won’t take as long to make more as they have a base guide to work with so they can focus on other things.

As it was previously stated repeatedly, a new race does add some new flavor for cosmetic, but it still wouldn’t please everyone because even if a fraction of the players wanted that specific race, the others would be mad it wasn’t the race they wanted and complain more. I do think that races would be nice to add if they became tied to existing races as an allegiance, so they could share the same living story past the first few quests. However, as a whole, I think getting the new class and system to add new specializations was a better use of resources than getting a new race made at this time.

Am I the only one that saw “Brawler’s Recovery – Now remove a single condition on weapon swap rather than just blind”? It seems like you can still remove a condi every 5 seconds if you get the trait.

When do the features get announced?

I guess they consider 5 more traits for each class and wardrobe to be a feature pack. QOL changes don’t count as a feature. So maybe next year they might introduce some new weapon combinations or even a map.

I am not sure as this has been addressed as there are 14 pages but if it has please ignore.
Elementalist

-can the scepter air and water auto attacks be tuned? The dmg is very low for water and air auto takes way too long to ramp up and you almost always need to dodge roll and it cancels the chain.

-as mentioned before, glyph of lesser elementals, either reduce the cooldown or remove the duration like a necro pet as we can’t control their secondary attack.

-possibly, can the +10% dmg trait be changed to a stacking dmg buff to a certain limit the longer you remain in an element? Some really like just 1 element and even though it does limit them they would rather have a bit more capability of using that element even though they lose a lot from not using the others frequently if at all.

Unless we find out he really did die and was replaced by a clockwork robot. So when we rescue him it is all part of Scarlet’s plan.

what part of the ranger class is really broken? longbow is a little slow but short bow is super fast. What is really broken about the class that would make you quit the game over it?

Can someone please correct me if I am misunderstanding this, currently exotics have an upgrade slot but ascended just have the upgrade baked into the gear, what makes exotics completely outdated from that? They say legendary weapons will become like ascended if you have one, so I guess that means it will just get the upgrade baked into it? Also they say, “We also have plans to add more fun ways to acquire Legendary precursor items with a more “scavenger hunt” feel than they are acquired currently.”

Does it say how people will get the ascended? Will it be crafted, bought with karma, or found? If it is crafted and it is supposed to be more available than legendary items doesn’t it mean that people will be selling them like exotics?

This agony I can’t really compare it to resistances in WoW from before since resistances weren’t just for dungeons because classes had the ability to use that element, fire from mages, shadow from warlocks, etc. So since agony is a monster condition only doesn’t that mean that any resistance you get is completely useless in wvwvw?

Just trying to understand this here.

I tried that jumping like 30 times in a row before I said “There isn’t an achievement for this, there is going to be a chest…in the time I have been at this I could have killed the Mad King twice and gotten the chest.” So I left to go fight the king. I found 3 paths down to the bottom, a hard path, a path you jump a little, and one I went flop flop flop on my face all the way down lol but I only died a few times trying to get down and that was discovering different paths to take. Overall I think the clock tower would have been better if it was single player instance like the guy thought when designing it but overall it was really good, challenging but available for those who wanted that challenge and they got a little loot for completing it. Maybe next year they will have 2 versions, a practice room with no timer and a normal room with the reward, let us practice those jumps a little.
