The fact that I read the thread title in a sarcastic manner says enough about the community.
I too am enjoying the game. Tons to do and see. The future is looking bright for GW2
The Polymock arenas (and an not functioning portal) are ready in Rata Sum
I kinda like it this way.
Doesn’t make sense that you meet hundreds of people running around in a calm, rural area.
And the events are a lot more fun if they’re not zerg-rushed by tons of players.
Yes, this is on the official wiki too
Also, word on WHO exactly is getting a reward?
I played all events, except for beating the Ancient Karka itself (because the whole event took too long and didn’t have the time to finish it)
I did participate in the chain-event technically, does that mean I’m getting a reward too?
CM has quite a few. Not sure if they count towards map completion though.
And if possible, a seperate place to store those town clothes.
One costume just fills up tons of space in your bank.
what i want to know is why half the price of the digital upgrade to current players, if they are giving out digital free to new subbers.
He, the store says “Free Upgrade”.
So this means everyone can get the Deluxe items for free now?
No you will not.
The Deluxe edition is sold at the price of the normal digital edition.
That edition includes the items.
You still have the normal edition, so you will not get the items.
There’s clearly a race track in LA ready for some Moa racing. Hopefully added soon :P
Steam also uses it, it’s not a bad alternative.
Question is if enough people would use it to make it profitable, of course.
I was very excited when I noticed there were POI, but very disappointed when I noticed there was no extra info to them.
Why not adding some lore to the POIs? They’re often near statues, old castles, … but no extra info is giving. Think it’s a bit of a missed opportunity.
You know what would take the fun away?
A bunch of level 80s who start one-hitting everything in the area, killing the bosses I want to challenge in mere seconds and pretty much ruining the whole difficulty and expirience
Another hint that it rose from the sea are all the shipwrecks over the island. I notice lots of wooden planks, even on higher places. Unless they were airships, I couldn’t think of any other way those could’ve gotten there.
I believe I read they’re working on something like this. Much requested feature.
I’m really hoping everyone who participated in one of the events gets a reward.
The timing of the event was bad and I wasn’t expecting it to take 2-3 hours to complete.
I completed everything but the final event. I hope they count in people like me too.
I see Quaggans as secondary characters, as most of the other non-playable races (except for the Tengu, Largos and possible Kodan, which I feel might be playable races one day)
It would be fun to have them playable in the game in a way though. Maybe through mini-games or mini-stories/dungeons.
They’re too squishy as full playable characters, but who wouldn’t want to be able to explore the world as a Quaggan, Skritt or Dredge even?
Don’t make these threads please. There’s enough of them around and nobody knows the time anyway.
Forget it, they updated the Halloween page, it’s indeed a date range per Act.
OP must’ve seen it
Are the acts even date-related?
Could be a story mode with 4 acts that can be done whenever you want.
A new class could be interesting, but I think the same could be achieved by adding new weapons and skills.
A few new weapons would give existing classes new combos and could give them an entirely new way to play, almost making it a new class.
For new races ,Largos and Tengu would probably be the most interesting.
I think the fact we see so little of them pretty much confirms they’ll be in the expansions (especially the Tengu, because of their place reserved in LA)
I’m looking forward to the Largos though, at the moment we don’t have a race with an underwater focus, so that might get interesting.
