Bad timing to have just thought of installing the client on my Mac.

It’s now downloading at around 500kb/s, but about 6 hours ago it was 0kb/s, with about 50,000 files to go.

Currently at 11/50 (low, I know!) and would love to get to even just 15. Would appreciate any kind of help I can get! I am poor, though, and only have GW1 mini-pets to give (I’ve a ton of those) in payment for any help.

What’s the fastest way to get to 15?

My fat cat likes to ruin my dramatic shots by stretching his fat butt in front of my face.

I found this on another forum, it was very useful for me – although of course you still have to preview the specific dye to see how it would look on your particular armor.

Midnight Fire dye is a great red-based dark dye for the light Whispers armor.

I am from SEA as well, and experienced the lag after maintenance. Seems only those from SEA are affected? I asked over map chat and others weren’t lagging.

Joining the bandwagon – I love joining contests, even though I never win.

I took it to mean that they will complete the transaction (take gem, give item) IF there are gems in your account. But in my case, since I had already spent the gems I was supposed to use for the mini-pets, they just gave it to me free.

So, I just got mail from Anet, basically telling me that the items are free, since it was a problem on their part. Yay.

I thought I was the only one who got this. I did try to order the mini-pet pack a few days ago, but since it didn’t push through, just didn’t think much of it again. And today I get mail from Anet with the mini-pets. Have sent them mail about this and hope to receive a response soon.

GW1 had this paid service – I do hope it also happens here. Would also love to see a name change service. I hate my current names.

Easy stuff to sell are mats (don’t craft, just sell mats) and unidentified dyes. Also made money that way.

Before the update my FPS was fine, and my computer had better than minimum specs. But now it’s crawling even on empty maps. DXdiag file attached.
