Running around with my Dagger/Focus necro in WvW and I’m having a blast with it than my warrior main. Though with my build, not much I can do against siege and towers but you usually should make it up with another siege weapon. My damage mainly comes from DS and Lich form.
I don’t suppose you’d mind posting your build? I’m curious as to how effective a lifesteal build can be in WvW.
Here’s what I run around with. My Build
I honestly cant say if the lifesteals are helping me a lot due to having a lot of green numbers showing up and I cant tell which is which. My reason to using lifesteal traits is just me who got used to Warrior’s passive regen. I survive decently enough in the middle of an enemy zerg just managing conditions and Death shroud. I deal solid 1k-3k damage on deathshroud depending on opponent and lifeforce left.
In anycase, if you have more questions. I guess we could discuss this via PM as we might de-rail the thread.
Running a dagger/focus lifesteal/Deathshroud necro and Ive yet to be killed 1v1 on WvW. Ive done a lot of 1v1 against Bunker ele’s too.
I guess people have to specify which necro build needs to be worked on because it’d be tad unfair for people who’re running a necro and is having fun.
I seriously hope it can be obtained by other means other than grinding a dungeon within a span of a week. We’re already tired of that. Im sure no one wanna grind for another tier right after you obtain your exotics or not…
I used to attempt to kill champs and vets but now, I just run past them. Silly waste of time.
Ive been doing WvW mostly and my warrior is pretty much built around Crit damage and Condition. I run with a Sword/Shield and A Longbow.
My F1 usually is my I win button(Sometimes). Perfectly timing it with Shield bash so they cant heal back in panic when I use it around 50% of their HP. The Only thing I hate about it is when it misses due to its low range and rooting you when activated.
As for the bow, It works wonders when clashing with Zergs and attacking Towers and Keeps, no one stands inside that ring of fire and walks alive most of the time and no one in their right mind would want to stand inside that either and usually works well to control where the opposite group walks on. Good terrain control I say.
As for adrenaline, I always have full as my traits are revolved around Adrenaline gain.
My warrior got hit hard with 15k damage and not to mention I have 2,788 armor. No idea if I had vulnerability stacked on me or whatever that other warrior had due to me being in a middle of a Zerg vs Zerg on WvW.
Well, it was a good fight( frustrating for the most part but fun) against Ebay. Learned a few tricks when it comes to siege. Our guild certainly had to take things a lot more seriously when I see SM on our borders during the morning.. lol

Maybe its just me but I noticed that the Sword of Justice command function deals half damage than what is stated compared to its normal attack which deals atleast 75% of what is stated on the tooltip.
I found out Signet of Restoration restores less health on attack while on cooldown in tandem with Earth trait “Written in Stone” compared to when its not on cooldown.
