Re-downloading the game didn’t work. The -assetsrvassetcdn.101.alternate.arenanetworks.com command didn’t work either. Going to try the VPN download next.
Having the same problem on EU server. The client restarts like it’s going to patch when I select a character to play; except it doesn’t download any patch. Re-downloading the game now… going to take a while with my internet speed.
Before the patch we were able to zoom out more than usual once we get to the Jade Maw tentacle area. Now you can’t zoom out more than anywhere else. Normally it wouldn’t really bother me but I play fractals on a max sized male Norn guardian and sometimes the Maw’s red dot is too far above my head to notice. I guess I could just get used to it but it was also nice being able to see where the crystals and tentacles were with a quick glance without having to rotate the camera. I would like to know if this is an oversight or you mean to keep it like this.
Having major lag issues myself on Fissure of Woe. Getting disconnected every 10-15 mins in fractals. Finally gave up and logged out. I don’t think this is on my end considering 3 out of 5 people in my party were having the same problem and I’ve never had a similar problem on GW2 before.
Ha, I was typing out my post for the same topic as you posted this. I’m having the same problem… hopefully they fix this before next week. I’m in FoW and it’s rare having match ups where we actually can capture Stone Mist so it’s a kittene to finish as is.
Since WvW season 1 has started I’ve captured Stone Mist 3 times and the King of the Castle tracker hasn’t budged; and Castles in the Air is still at 0. I never had this problem before the last patch and I seem to be one of the few with this problem. I’ve asked others and their trackers have been ticking over as normal and I can’t find any other thread on these forums regarding this subject.
Edit: They seemed to have fixed it; it’s working for me now.
Princess Miya and Moto have to be the same person… I mean just look at them. Even the mini Miya is obtained by putting a dress, tiara and wig on Moto. So the real question is… what is Moto up to?
