mega server is only ok if you pretend all other players are NPC’c- very vocal NPC’s
people don’t even res any more
they will run over your corpse because why not? it is not like they are ever going to see you againseriously, give us our communities back- we made them- it took two years.
you took it away in one patch.I know! I was late for work today because megaservers put everyone on the same kitten train! Everything is megaserver’s fault!
I am no longer interested in logging in anymore. I don’t know what else to say. This really really sucks.
Can you give me all your gold then?
There’s no need to be so incredibly unpleasant about other people leaving feedback.

So.
Add me to the list of people who avidly hate the megaserver system and boss scheduling.
Seeing people around while I level alts is alright but it doesn’t do a kitten thing for me that I wasn’t already able to do before.
I hate how crowded cities are, but it won’t kill me.
I hate that there’s no real server identity anymore. Sucks to see this affecting WvW.
I hate how hard it is to get in to kill a world boss now. It’s not fun at all. In fact, it’s a pain. I don’t know how I’m going to accomplish my goals without that source of income, but I have no motivation to go to these events anymore when they are so terrible to sit through.
I hate that my guildies can call a boss being up but going to that map puts me in another instance. Ridiculous.
I am doing my best to continue enjoying what is left for me in GW2 but it really really sucks that, in essence, parts of the game I played and enjoyed have been patched out.
There are so many cons to this that I’d rather not have the megaserver system rolled out at all. There’s not enough to justify what little good it would do.
Surely you wont do all paths in one day? All we need is proper reward scaling for rest of the dungeons than just ac or arah.
Basically the paths that were unappealing before the patch are still unappealing. No one wants to run too many different paths because there’s just not enough reason to. The reward scaling could help that a lot.
Not denying this …. but….
If your regular friends can’t agree to do the run at the same time you’re available then it’s time to find some new friends… Blaming Anet for their selfishness won’t achieve much
I don’t at all blame them for wanting to get their content in for the day before they too are screwed out of it. The system has changed in a big way and I feel like I’ve lost the game I liked because of it.

My point is that I don’t want to use LFG. I want to run with my guild because that’s a hell of a lot more fun. But now there’s zero incentive for people to run the same paths more than once a day and that leaves me the odd man out.
Clicking on a waypoint to regroup has a good chance of not porting you back but instead putting you back into the fight. I was returned to the fight five times in a row and ended up having to be kicked from the party just so I could leave the dungeon. My gear was too destroyed for me to be of any use in further attempts.
PS – Shorten the fight a tiny bit. Thanks.
In the Snowblind fractal, the Ice Elemental fight contains a very strong white and blue effect that occurs when players are teleported around at random.
It is brutally painful every time it flashes on screen, even with my added color and contrast adjustments to minimize what effects like this can do to me. Is it possible to lessen the effect at all or take it out entirely?
At least it’s not as bad at that snow-themed fractal that fills your screen with piercing white and blue. That is the only thing in a game so far to trigger my migraines. I’d love to slap whoever thought that effect was a good idea.
Really reminds me of Beast’s hairstyle in that ballroom scene.
If you really insist on giving Rox those big, horrible eyes, at least make her able to blink instead of just tweeking out every few seconds. It’d be easier to deal with a major change to a model if it was actually handled in a believable way.
I haven’t seen this mentioned anywhere. I noticed that the Charr Victory Flamekeeper has a hairstyle I’ve never seen before. I quite like it. Was this in beta or is it totally new?
This has happened to me since I got the game. I would love to know if there’s a fix. I’m pretty tired of being startled while trying to relax playing a game.
Using SB Audigy and Windows 7
I just got my first character to 80. After experiencing the let down of the story’s progression past Claw Island, I can confidently say that I won’t be doing the story on any other character. I also don’t particularly care if I ever kill Zhaitan. It’s ridiculous that the story isn’t solo the entire way through but that’s for another thread.
One of my favorite games is to listen to NPCs talking and see who would have been a better choice for a VA than Trahaerne’s. So far, even the most generic of NPC dialogue has had better acting than salad man. I get that his character is a depressed sadsack with possibly little to no social skills. But he should not have stayed that way throughout the entire story. There was zero character development with him beyond his wooden delivery getting slightly more forceful words to drone out once he got a special sword in his hands.
If the guy shows up in future storylines, I will avoid what I can and skip through what I can’t.
