Nvm, not fixed. But it was OK until 18:00 CET.

How is your gameplay now, guys? I played for about 3 hours after yesterdays update and there was no lag or dc. Is it just some kind of coincidence or someone fixed something? O_o

I am suffering with the same issues. The problem is – everything’s OK. There is no problem with the game, connection, etc.

But to be honest – how can I believe that the problem isnt in the game, if one map is totally unplayable and the next one is OK at the same time? (I tested this many times)
The problem is in the region – EU? Really? I (try to) play with my friend (same town). We enter the map. I can play. She cant due to lags and dcs.
We change the map to be able to play together – she can play. Coool. But I cant (or I even cant load the map).
The problem is your ISP? I really dont believe that all of the ISPs mentioned here started to have technical problems at the same time.

I cant answer you. Idk if its due to increasing amount of players. I am just reading these forums and looking for some help as you do.

If everything’s OK (the game, my ISP, my connection, my hardware, …), I really dont know what to do to be able to play this game. Nvm, I just wait for some time.

I can hardly say that I fully understand what that tracert is or what exactly does it mean. But is it OK if all of the tracerts (including all of my attempts) always end with the line “206-127-157-102.plaync.com [206.127.157.102]”?

Until now I was pretty sure that the problem is the “Request timed out” line. But atm – I am a bit confused. How should such a tracert look like if everything is fine?

Quite long time ago I had a similar problem with another MMO – random crashes. I tried to do EVERYTHING with my PC.
I know it sounds strange but those crashes stopped after I installed older drivers for my sound card.

I start to believe it has nothing to do with my hardware, connection or something like that.
I played my ele in Wayfarer Foothills. At some point the game started to be unplayable – usual spikes and dcs.
I logged on my thief (another map) => all worked totally smooth. I played a few mins and nothing changed – smooth gameplay.
I logged back on ele – unplayable.
I logged back – smooth.
I logged back on my ele and after a dc and a few mins of waiting I reached Hoelbrak. Skills are working without any delay.

I will test it a bit more but it looks pretty suspicious – one character is unplayable and another character on another map is OK at the same time? After switching the map, unplayable character is OK?

The game is unplayable for me for about a week due to horrible lags and DCs. No changes in my system, connection settings or something. I tested my connection and two other MMOs. Everything seems fine. I googled some “GW2 lag fixes” but they didnt help.

I am watching this thread – it will be nice if I can play again.
