Well, with such overwhelming evidence there’s nothing else to do but to admit our shame.

Yak’s Bend is allied with EVERY server BUT SoS. In fact, in the DB/Mag/YB matchup all servers will be convening on middle island in DBBL to do /dance emotes, sing koombaya and bask in the total lack of fighting.

That’s how we roll.

I am fully in favor of making this a reality and posting it to the t4 thread next week. At reset or as soon as possible so it is on the first page or 2.

All kidding aside, YAKSBEND.com and YAKSBEND server, NEVER has and NEVER will, team up/make an Alliance with/Or do secret meeting with another server. Many have ask, and have been told nicely no thank you. There you have it from the horses mouth.

We respect and hate all our enemy’s the same , we even miss Archer …/warm smile.

Think what you will, but this is Our server way, and yes I speak for most. If we find that a guild we play with does this….it will not have it’s desired effect for them on our server, and no we have never found this.

Hello all, Yaksbend here at 12:35 am Server time.

20 of us from all guilds just spent 4 hours fighting SoS on YBBL. And finished with a 1 1/2 Hour battle for Hills. We fought on inner Hills for 40 min with SoS pounding us wave after wave…..

Good job SoS, good strats, good team work. Fun fight all the way around. We pushed you out and sealed the wall and got South Towers back while you pounded hills. But you almost got it.

GREAT Job Yaksbend team. Out maned but we held.

Point is,
Grats to the SoS team good fight guys. But Yaksbend all have to sleep now see you tomorrow. Our few hard core Aussie’s and Oceanic’s will hold you as long as they can and we are glad to have them.

And thank you Yaksbend Team. Great team work all.

Nothings changed. Yaks still zergs like before, they will get shot up back to t3 and come crashing back down, and it will be like this for a while.

Really Archer? You playing on your server that does the same with lower pop servers feel you must start this battle out with putting people down? And calling Zergs? really?

CD will over whelm us both on Oceanic hours, but that is not there fault ether, that is just when there main server team plays. Most of us try not to give them kitten for it.

We will host a fight night or 2 even for the other teams and roamers. And we at yacksbend respect your server and you even. Please don’t ruin the thread my friend by starting of this way. Please….I ask this as stated not with a smart kitten tone.

Had a guest in DB citadel today

We at Yaksbend are aware of them Blix…They are not part of the WvW team here on YB Alliance and we never see them on the field. Same guild and they do this with all servers we play and always the same 4 or 5 [DISC]players off and on from what we can tell.

But to be honest they don’t hack, or we have never caught them. All they do is sneak into the Citadel from pictures we have seen from other server’s. If any one see’s anything other than that please let us know. But as I said they really don’t do anything of import as hacking go’s and we cant seem to find them in battle.

We have tried lol, as long as they don’t play unfair we have to leave them be. We have all decided in out Guild/Team leader meeting’s that they must just like having thier Picture taken while they are lying down.

It could be a center fold attention need of some sort…. he he

If he wants to fight a 10 man, and Pat wants to play it, I will ask the whole server Alliance to stand and protect it while they fight all they want. We will circle them while they fight with 2 or 3 guilds so no other server bothers them and they can beat the crap out-a each other over and over again. Yaks’ do have a crazy amount of people compared to EB. Not sure about CD.

But as to the ‘skill’ level, Yaks, don’t make any comment about that. We are on equal lvl.

Twice last night, our team of 10 witheald 30+ in both Hope & Refuge. You guys streamed it on us for about 10min straight.

Only once our two guards were down did you pile up on us. Not only that, we took the camps from your “Defenders” with all that craptastic ballista’s shooting at us.

So don’t even go there.

WvW is a numbers game. If the numbers are ‘close’, then it’s strategy. If the ‘numbers’ are widespread, it’s rofflestomping time.

I look forward to finding your 10-15 man roaming squads during this week and put’n the shame on. Don’t come out claiming “superior skill”. Such a cop-out.

[EDIT] Something that was pretty classy by KAIN when they were moving up in tiers was the the ~vast~ majority of thier players played on ALT’s (sub 80’s) once they got thier numbers for the next week. Still stomp’d everyone by shear numbers, but at least it gave everyone a chance to actually have some good fights.

No one! here is calling out any one, Yes we have more players than Ebay, but thats just the way it is. Not your fault, not ours. Yes we have about the same players NA as CD, but there Oceanic crew of 50 or 60, will wipe YB and Ebay clean every week night for 7 hours. NOT< there fault, not yours or ours! That’s just when they get to play on there side of the world*

They just did! what 1/2 your server does to both these team because of no1:am to 11:am coverage server time on ether YB OR CD. YB held you till 3:am Server on reset..1150 points spread<! for 14 hours! Are you really that kittening good? I think not and that alone proves it. We all had to go to sleep on CD and YB then K’s night crew came in and took world map while both servers YB and CD had no one playing.

Then held it for 15 hours, not in a fight, but because we were all asleep. This is not Kaineng’s fault at all, there morning team is playing when they can play on the other side of the world< but it is not the fault of YB or CD that these servers have no one playing from 1:am server to 11:am server but to come here and even say PVE door to YB OR CD, is simply rude. Yes Kaineng had no one there at YBBL Garrison or CDBL Garrison because your team at 2:AM in the morning was to busy turning the entire world map blue because no one on ether server was awake.

So please do not come troll Blackwater guild. They have good team spirit, and are trying to keep there server morale up and we at Yaksbend are glad for them to be part of our server. What have you done for your server? I respect Kaineng, and so does Yaksbend Alliance…do not ruin it please and get over yourself this comment from you is Vexing to say the least.

If you really think we field 100 on every map…

Going to try to help yaks here – the reason home BL defense is so important is because the defenders advantage lets you lock it down pretty easily. When it is locked down, you just freed up “100” people to leave that map and go elsewhere. Leave 5 behind for camp groups/derping around. You just turned only 1 map queue into two maps worth of control~

Then you can use that take those 100 people off of the map they take next, again leaving 5 people. If something goes down on home bl or second bl, you recall a chunk to clean it up, and then keep moving forward. You need to communicate so you don’t have things like 30 yaks on mag BL for hours with only spawn tower to show for it.

WvW isn’t that complicated if you just start asking why you’re taking the thing you’re taking. Most of the times yaks/ioj’s targets really confuse us because they have no long term worth. On Ioj borderland they golem rushed our west keep, and in exchange traded us garrison AND east keep. The rush failed on outer and they were left with no keeps.

@ Kitty, thank you and we know and apply all these things. But when we move the 100( for us its about 55) people you are talking about, they are still hitting our BL its not like that team just stoped playing our BL , and Mags on MBBL when we get there, And Mags on IoJ BL, And full Mags on Eternal when we get there at the same time…also on YBBL the 70 Mags that are Still on our BL(Yes I and Spect and other leaders go count the enemy).

Its not Maguuma’s fault nor do we think ill of your Core team because of it. You guys did not ask for what has happened this week and we know it. But, Maguuma just has way more peeps to hold each BL now, thats just the way it it is. So we will D up, and fight the rest of the week when we can NA prime and kill each other. I hope as Sarg and some GOONS have said that you guys get to hold your new transfers if you want, and they dont just bail on you guys next 10 days. If so Yaksbend Alliance guilds will cheer the non Trolls of Maguuma all the way up. Maguuma has been used to this since day one. We are all broke, but despite getting our teeth kicked in, we love to play. Did Yaks/IoJ never face match ups like this?

From an IoJ perspective, no. Only a few weeks ago we were fighting SoR and BG in T3!
The leaving guilds and the sudden destruction of our WvW base has had a big effect on our sever, IMO.

Yes Sarg, we have many times, thats what got us going months back. But we got Complacent last few weeks and will fix that. Thank you for asking.

The core WvW teams of Yaksbend Alliance were asked to do this Twice by Ebay and we said no thank you. And…we always will, we do not TEAM up with any one.

Please do not say things like this about a server when you have nothing to back it with. Or do not rep for a large Alliance or team set.

Yaksbend..win or loose , for Bad or Good has never cut a SIDE DEAl with any one. And we make it public when asked to do so, and nice like tell people every time no thank you when they come to our mumble…and many do try this. I also know for a fact (see our web site that Maguuma commanders come to speak with us on,that MAGUUMA CORE teams, (not what is going on now) has never has done this ether and never will.

Thats why even though you people that troll and talk crap here(not all of Maguuma posters)we on Yaksbend.com WvW core teams Like to play with and will always respect Maguuma for this.

No we did not Saiyr, We Gained two 30 man NA prime guilds [MF] and [HELL]. We are happy to have them as they seem to fit in so far. It’s just you guys, Maguuma Gained a butt load, Yaks will keep fighting. But, Maguuma has T2 plus population now. Like I said we are not complaining. I hope that the Transfers stay with you and don’t just bail next week on you guys and you get a good team going. We YAKS have always told you guys that we can only field 2 1/2 maps. You never listened…you just shouted Zerg server. We now that you have more…well now you (Maguuma) know….

We are here X, But Maguuma Has a huge pop now, We had 200 Alliance players out tonight. But we are hard pressed to even push on any map with Mags numbers now. We are not complaining and will still fight. but you guys are the Transfer server this week looks like. I see 25 players (Maguuma) sitting in camps on MBBL at 4 supply camps camps. That says a lot seeing as your map is Blue. And still 120 Maguuma on Yaks, {yes I just ran map and counted the teams on both sides of our Garrison)and full Q’s for Mag’s in Eternal and Yaks and Maguuma BL. Like I said we are not complaining, but you guys just have a T2 pop right now. Grats to Maguuma you guys, I hope they stay for you and dont just leave next week.

Really? All servers and both EB and Db do this. Its called Siege War look it up in the game or go play with 1v1 or 5v5 teams. We respect both* DB and EB for fighting as teams in our Alliance.

I am sure you are a great player, Dont ask another server for help we never have and have turned others down when they tried, EVEN when we loose. Team with your own, be a driving force, That is FUN, be a server leader not the gank leader. Get a server forum, get a server voice over, have reset meetings, make map plans, try it< you have the want, I am sure you have the skill. BUILD a team< just try it. If you dont try, you know what happens? ….nothing…it all stays the same.

Yaksbend Alliance plays as a team, thank you, but we do not need or want them. We have 7, 5 man strike teams, that is plenty. They do what we need them to do and do it well. People that do not play as a team we do not need.

Any Magguma that want to be part of a team you are welcome, people like them are not. Maguuma and Ehmry Bay are fine servers when they have the teams up and grats to them. People like these yo yo’s need to Spvp, which is a fine skill set.. but I see that they are not good enough to try that.

This is WvWvW forums, about team work and large battles, if you dont care for that . thats fine. But to troll people for the hell of it because you are board, and can not play with a group lager than 5 , well…that is your servers loss, and your server will never move up because of people like these. I give Salute to Maguums and EB, these people? thay are just sad, and I would hope they do not show the server pop as a whole, any Magguma or Ehmry Bay that feel this are welcome to say so. I for one, that respect team work and WvWvW are tiered of this childish banter from non team players, for the good of the servers I hope Maguuma and EB WvWvW teams, the SERVER TEAMS are also. So much this. It’s actually impossible for anyone on this forum to claim they legitimately did not know this update was coming. It’s been well publicized that the update would be coming today, and chat in basically every zone has been inundated with talk about the impending patch since early this morning.

Everyone here knew the patch had not yet hit, but that it would be hitting in the next 6 hours. It should have come as a surprise to absolutely no one when it happened.

While visions of Golem’s danced in their heads.

With Fortify done, and a full colored Map,

They had all settled down for a long winter’s nap;

When beyond the outer gate there arose such a clatter,

The Commanders JUMPED UP >:( to see what was the matter.

Away to the Walls, they flew ready for the clash >:(

Tore open there Backpacks! and threw up Guild stash!

The moon on the breast of the new-fallen snow,

Gave the luster of battle-haze to the oblects below.

When, what! to there Eagle eyes should appear,

But 8 miniature Asuras!? ??? Transformed as reindeer!? :o

With an Engineer Commander, so lively a thinker,

We all knew in a moment it must be St. Tinker.

More rapid than Dolyaks! his coursers they came,

And he whistled, as they Zerged, and he called them by name;

The biggest fallacy on the WvW forums, is that people actually think the discussions taking place here, affect what happens in-game.

Reality: 99% of the people in WvW, do not read these threads. They don’t care about server politics, or alliance rumors.

They login, figure out which map their guild is going to, or where a certain commander is, or look at the map and see which map needs help, and go there.

Once there… they attack whatever point is vulnerable for attack. They don’t care about what color it is. They attack the next logical point, or one that is not defended.

Simple.

They do not go through some complex thought process that “Hmm, FA has a better shot a first place, so we better attack their tower on the other side of the map, and leave the Yak’s tower by our keep, alone.” It just doesn’t happen. It is not reality.

The reality is that each server attacks the most vulnerable point, in order to get more points for their server. Because whoever has the most points at the end of the week… wins! Surprise surprise!

Will this stop people on the forums from thinking the alliance rumors are true and that trash talk actually matters? Nope. But hey, as long as people are staying entertained, to each their own.

This is Probably the most Logical true to ‘what really go’s on’ post about this match or ALL of WvWvW that I have seen in Gw2 chatter. I and a few others run an enitre Alliance with 20 some guilds small and large but no matter what we do or think we do we have to learn to get people to play with us, when they want to, and do what they want to, and try to use it with a tactical plan for each evening/morning/time zone.

I sat last night PST @ 11:30 pm in YBBL and was going to bed after upgrading everything we YB fought all evening long on just to get back our BL. After the morning and afternoon TC FA push that happens before we all get home or on to play in NA.

I was ready to log of at Blue Lake in YB, as watch 38 to 40 GOD, PRO and others run in right by me and start on Tower. Then build a Golem and go start on EH tower which they took both in 16 min.

There were 7 YB players on the map. So I went to LA and EB and called out. So about 30 people came and stopped the push for a bit.

Now, ! Am I flustered Yes*
Is this Night capping? Yes, is it FA’s FALT!

No! it is not there falt YB does not have people on at that time and they want to play.

FA players (and any server’s) that are up at that time want something to do for points. They paid for the game also. Do they hit TCBL with 30 to 40 people at this time? Well if they did they would kitten Stomped. As TC has good 24/7 coverage or at least 3 times more than YB and FA at this time. Is this TC’s falt!…lol no its not. If I played at 1 to 4 AM in the morning and my server needed points I would have done the same thing FA did. To keep my players/friends happy and get points for my server.

So just an insite for those of you to stuburn to get what the OP for above Quote is saying.

Also as the Leader of the Yaksbend.com Alliance I can tell you this. There is no secret packed/alliance with TC, never will be from our teams with any other server. We do not play that way, we simply do not want to. It does not matter if any one thinks we should or should not. We* just dont want to play the game that way. At least our Alliance/teams I can speak for. And I know for a fact that no other Yaksbend teams have done so.

I hope this clears up any and all allegations about YB ever teaming up or making an Alliance with any one…lol, but I know it wont.

To end, these last 3 weeks have been a great time. Great Victories, Great fustrations and good fun.

We try to do things this way and keep getting better at it. Many do not relise that our site is a community site and not just WvWvW Alliance. Wonderfull read, spot on with the Micro" team set idea Imo* that is what we have tried to do from day one of Gw2 to keep a large group/Family of people having fun.

@Honnor – I’m not sure why as a YB commander you brought this to the boards to make it a controversy. I’ve personally never seen that player you mention, but I have played with a lot of EP folks. The way you have colored this person is unfair, and the bad reputation you are trying to give their guild (one of the better guild on our server to be honest) is unfair.

This IS a game about a three-way war. It isn’t just about slinging magical pixels at each other. The developers absolutely intended politics and intrigue like this to happen between the servers. Just because you did not agree to such an alliance, does not make it a dishonorable thing to do.

In our (TC’s) current situation I think you will find 99% of our players are just fine with the completely even three-way war that we have right now and wouldn’t want an alliance with either YB or CD. This is the best WvW match we have had thus far. I don’t give a kitten if we lose at the end of the week. I can tell you as a fact, that this was not an agreement server-wide, and I doubt it was even guild-wide from Everything Purple.

Still, I think it is wrong of you to come on this board and bad mouth a whole guild and try to color them or this individual who reached out to you as if they are dishonorable. There is also indication that you are bad-mouthing our whole server.

What exactly do we, Tarnished Coast, have to do to earn your mutual respect? We have battled our way up this ladder the same as you, barely benefiting from transfers and the like. Our core players are all originally from this server. We play with honor, for the most part, with some bad apples just like any other server.

We will continue fighting, and enjoying, the game. See you on the battlefield.

TarnishedCoast is a Great server. And we respect them and I respect them. I made a comment about something we do not agree with. It was not ment to put TarishedCoast down. But inform the teams on that server about it.

If this would have been one of our team guilds, we would remove that player and not play with that guild. Simple, thats our way of doing things. If this person with a guild tag, had not bothered to contact 3 GL we would not have cared.

And then have the bad Manners to try and recruit the guilds to TC, then when that did not work say that they would make other deals with CD if we did not..really? Ok. Did it make us pissy ? yes, do we have no wish to play with a guild that does this/ yes.

Our team has given back Orb’s 4 that a Yaker hacked, We have given back 5 keeps that a hacker took. We do this because we believe it was the right thing to do. None of that matters but I hope you understand the thought, you dont have to agree with it.

Once again if that person was defamed , good let them play how they wish but dont push it on others and then try to scare them with na *ultimatum< thats the part that this post was made for.

So again, TarishedCoast is a great fair plaing server thats why we posted to let them know. And incase CD was told the same thing to let them know we would have not part of it. I am sorry if you think less om me for the poast, but we can give our thoughts also just like any.

If it defames said person, good. If the Guild did not condone it…even better and we are glad and I will gladly apologize myself in public to that guild. But when some one sends you to a web site and wears the guild tag not much esle to say. So I am done, but because you gave a thought in your own words about Tarished Coast being defamed I felt I sould tell every one it was not against the sevrer.

Sorry if it made you feel that way. I mean that, but we are not in the least bit sorry for calling this person or guild that plays this way out. If they did not condone, and I realy hope they did not, I am am sorry. But I am still glad we gave our thoughts. And its not my thought. All the Commanders/Guild leaders/ in our Alliance I talked to and all agreed , yes we should say something. Sorry if you think thats wrong, we in the name of fair play, yes, fair play laugh if you want do not.

When we saw it happening, the Flying bit, We scattered 4 teams of 5 to get screen shots We are all so happy that SoR players did also. If Anet feels that they should Ban me for this or giving the order to put up Sreen shot, then so be it. But I do not play that way, nor does my family of guilds. So thank you to those that said so, And SoR has it back, I hope they understand that we will Kill them, but we will never help a cheater. I will pull all 130 people of a Map first. The Hacker when we cornered him, logged off. Lets all hope he never gets to log on again!
