Like everyone else I too have this same issue. I was going to start on the Ascended version and use the Pet Seed, now I guess I’d better wait and see how the devs handle this one.
I’m so tired of this. Every time there is an update to GW2 I have this error. I have admin privileges so I do not understand why Win 7 keeps locking the files. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Network lag and disconnects have been horrible all day, keep getting (code=7:11:3:189:101) and dropped back to the character select screen. Did a netstat -n to find the ip of the AN servers I was connecting to and got:

Been having this problem the last few days (Code=7:11:3:189:101) game will lag then poof I’m back to the character selection screen.
I no longer have GW1 installed

DC’s began around 8 am central time
I have not had this issue until a few days ago when I began receiving the message in chat about you guys testing the connections. Ever since then it’s a DC every 10-15 mins.
yes and it’s been very bad today, for me anyway. The error I get is (Code=7:11:3:189:101)
and I get placed back to the character selection screen.
