1) Look up thief trait builds (this will also tell you what to buy for step 2)
2) Buy some equipment of yellow or higher quality. Most importantly you want an exotic weapon
3) Read what other classes can do (in general, I’m not asking you to memorize everything)
4) Practice a lot because a lot of roaming people are pretty good at 1v1s so don’t expect to beat anyone your first time

The other option is to run in a zerg. This is really easy: equip a shortbow, bind every key to either 1 or 2, and roll your face on the keyboard.

Im using yellow set,but my weaps/rings/offset are all still weak,has for traits im using 0.20.30.20.0,VI,III then Vi,V and finally VI,X.
Im using shortbow+daggers

Hi guys,seems i keep getting kitten easy mode by all classes on WvW,serious dunno what to do ,im using my random gear…seems the enemy does a lot of damage on me and never seem to loose health bellow 50 percent…what can i do? do i have to use any pvp gear or something? i feel thief is very weak atm.

is thief class a good one for pvp ? or atm its not so good 1v1?

Im new to the game,still lvl 60 atm,been playing for some days,what build shall i use for pvp? also what shall i stack in my items? and which weapons are best ?
