SPvP Laurels optimisation

So I’m sure I don’t have to tell you that the 10extra laurels for the monthly has brought a massive influx of players into pvp and I think a great way to maintain some of that is to make both pve and pvp monthlies give laurels. 10 for the first one completed, 5 for the second. Also give anybody who had already finished this months pvp before the update the 10laurels everybody else got(regardless of it not being deliberate), because to be honest it’s a huge kick in the teeth to have done the pvp monthly and be negatively impacted by it.

I laugh at this, Theif is one of the weakest classes especially because of initiative limitations, and lack of stealth.

This, PvE Thief is one of the weakest classes because they are limited to single target if they want big numbers. And even in wvw/pvp they aren’t ‘op’

How to fix dungeon glitching

So, after several patches we still have the problem that people can get out of the map and into other paths. CoE people are STILL able to get through doors into all other paths, arah people can get out of the map and as far as I’m aware people can still get out of the map in CM and get back in, skipping content along the way. (haven’t done any CM in about a month).

There are 2 extremely simple things you can do to fix both of these issues forever.

1. Incorporate a ‘dead zone’, anywhere players aren’t meant to be, they are instantly killed.

2. Separate the dungeon paths into separate instances rather than having all of them on the one map. The group comes in, chooses a path and they are reloaded into a separate map with that path.

Just tried, no.

They should make an upgrade system of these. Throw 4 of them into the mystic forge and get a possessed statue of Dwayna mini.

yeah that sounds like a neat idea, just something we can use to get rid of excess

6 Months in - Dungeons still glitched.

So with 1K hours and 3 level 80’s I find myself drawn to dungeon content for the majority of my time in Dungeons however I am constantly disheartened when a run fails or takes a ridiculously long time because of a glitch.
10 Minutes ago I ran a CoF2 and Magg glitched out after we ran him across the Magma and would not acknowledge that Magmacyte existed (We actually did this the legitimate way aswell, yet the fact that there’s a glitchable (which is also glitchy lol)way to do it with waypointing proves the threads point). We tried killing the enemies around him, letting him die and reviving him and every other possible idea we could think of. I have had issues on this section of the path at least 30times and had to quit the entire dungeon at least 10times. On the bomb event Magg can also get glitched in the walls and not trigger the event if you fail it and often doesn’t run to his correct location before triggering the event.
About a month ago whilst going for DungeonMaster the group I was in showed you can still get on top of a cliff and skip most of the dungeon. These are just a few examples of the plethora of glitches haunting your dungeons 6months into the game.
Another big one is that people can STILL bug through the walls of CoE into other paths (heard a guild group doing this last night). Along with the glitch you can jump out of the path in arah2. These can however easily be fixed by A. Setting up some kind of zone where if you make it out of the path you’re instantly killed (would like to see kicked from dungeon aswell) or B. Having each path be a separate instance, where you choose a path and it loads you into another map with just the 1path.
Stop spending so much time making new content and focus on fixing the stuff already in the game. This is truly infuriating and should not be an issue this far into the life cycle seeing as it’s such a large issue to one of the core foundations of the game.

So last night a few of us noticed under the ranks tab in guild that only guild leaders have permissions to active missions content (however it appears us officers can activate the built upgrade) this is a big problem as our 2 ‘guild leaders’ have both been deployed in the army and won’t have internet for at least a month. Does anybody know if, like the ranks tab says, only the guild leader/highest rank can activate missions? Or can us officers who have been left in charge do it? (Obviously we don’t want to accidentally using the upgrade before people are ready)

If it is only the highest rank this is a massive issue and I’m sure we wouldn’t be the only ones with this problem

Mine worked fine, you just mustn’t be dodging at the right time or an enemy that is easy to dodge register on. Try it on an Oakheart.

Aww, I thought I got really lucky, to find that they’re dropping that much… going to lose a lot of bag space over this, oi vey. Should be bind on use and can be sold and they should be able to put them in the forge.

I used around a million karma start-up and opened well over 500 chests and only got a handful of them

I agree. I drop it 7 times and I sure dont need them all:-D

Definitely the major problem with it, people who are constantly using karma on it will end up with dozens of dead items. And based on the amount they drop I couldn’t see them being any higher than 3-5gold. Would just be added incentive for people to use their karma on chests.

In my opinion the Mini Risen Priest should not be account bound for several reasons, these being; all of the other items attainable from the Orrian chests(bar karma and potions) can be sold, the priests are not a temporary mini pet like the Halloween skeletons or the Wintersday toys.

They should be treated much like the mini karkas, and I believe the drop rate is about right so that they wont be overly expensive or cheap.

As it currently sits people can make large amounts of money from using the karma for legendary weapons and selling those, so why not make these chests worthwhile for those not aiming to get a legendary.

Let me know what you guys think and if they should be tradeable like all the other exotic mini’s
