rifles are for power builds and single target long range, burst suck in 1v1 ‘cause of casting time, it’s good on zergs, no one can see it coming and does a lot of dmg
bow are utility and condition, has great aoe and is melee mid range (dont try to use above 900, you will miss), burst is aoe and good for taking and defending points, also has great synergy with CI
bump…
please fix this asap
happened yesterday to all my party in AC
fix this please!
you can still know you are in combat seeing the “yellow” thing all over around the skill bar and health “orb”…
It has been some days from patch, so please, FIX!
please fix!…
It also happened to me in AC p3… (and all other party members)
+1
as sweetmesquite said, this also happens when doing AC p3…
Very annoying, the other day I wanted to change to my banners and couldn’t ’cause to the bug…
The OP says that you have to login in the game to actually increase your quota… i wouldn’t go as easy as that (as it takes only 5 minutes tops), i would ask for the player to end his/her daily quests (5 of them) and as part of the reward of ending them, i would give the player a +1 on their crafting quota (of course, with a cap)…
or so i think c:
PD: you don’t always login to get mats, or you don’t have all that time to do it, aside from, doing dungeons, world bosses, some wvw, monthly, etc
bump
i talk from a warriors perspective, i don’t play any other classes….
i don’t know how buggy their gap closers are, so i can’t complain nor i should make a post whining about it… (nor should any other warrior that doesn’t play those classes with buggy gap closers)…
Anyway, please fix this :c…
for a warrior, gap closers are very important, because almost every build that is bound to be competitive is melee… or at least, mainly melee (and no, longbow is not a long range weapon, is a melee mid range… its skills are far too slow to hit from >800)…
so, you want us to not have mobility skill so we can’t engage in melee with you, nice one, the good warrs will use their mobility to gap close rather than gap make….
Also, as everyone said, warriors doesn’t have any other way of disengage, so, why should we be sandbags for you? i mean, if you outplay us, why should we be stupid enough to stay and fight, then die…
there is a trait that makes banners give you regen, also adrenal health and healing signet if you want it to be passive healing. I might look on the 1st healing skill you get for warrior for a burst heal and see if over time (divide the total amount by CD) you get more hps than healing signet. (IDK if regen from banners is better than shouts heal, shouts are a burst heal, and regen is not)
A PVT build shouts heal very subpar build i made allowed me to facetank almost any champ (world champs, didn’t try on dungeons) and not get knocked off 80% hp (even when 2 more people arrived making the champ tougher).
BUT you really have no dps at all… (you gotta go all the way in tactics [vit and boon duration] which has very useless minor traits, and all the way on the thoughness line, so, you get no dmg at all… gear, i used PVT, but could be smth else)
EDIT: sorry my bad english
fix the gap closers! please -
have the weapons have different ability sets, problem solved…
the main problem is the cloth supply…
on an average dungeon run i get double mithril than cloth, that can’t be right, i mean, it’s ok that every f****** armor in the game uses cloth, but, when salvage, the only armor that drops cloth is light, hell no, i would make it so if you salvage light, you get double cloth than salvaging heavy or medium, and make heavy and medium salvage drop cloth as well as ore/hide, i mean, the armor has to have some cloth on it, right?
aside from that, the price for bolt of damask is outrageous, compared to the other 3 (steel, leather and wood).
I understand why wood and leather are cheaper, only used on armor/weapons,
and why damask is so expensive (used on all armor heavy, medium and light)… it should be 3 times more expensive than leather, but it is like 6 times more expensive, something is not right…
cloth is too rare and the demand is too high, compared to ores, wood and leather… it has to be changed
it’s pretty lame, ‘cause or it doesn’t hit, or you are at enemy’s face running for a full second and doing the kitten animation, or worse, you pass the enemy, and run in place for a full second and do the kitten animation for no damage…
same goes for bull’s charge…
please fix this!…
like Julie Yann said, we would use these skills to engage IF they hitted the target!…. (of course, they don’t!)…. Rush can do a lot of dmg, and it covers a lot of distance, but almost always fails to hit the target… so, we are not using it to engage, ‘cause it doesn’t work…
Thanks for your answer.
I will try not to missclick anymore
Hello,
I don’t have SS at the moment because I realized later that I was having a bug.
I selected the vigil to work for.
I also wanted to learn more about the ogres, because they sounded awesome, that’s when the problem started, my mentor (warmaster Forgal) was there, that’s expected, but Lightbringer Tybalt was also there (clipped in the same space than Forgal), Tybalt did half the dialogs, when that quest was over I had to go to the Vigil to report, they promoted me to warmaster, all okay, then I went to claw island, and Forgal simply dissapeared from the picture, no more dialogs, nothing.
When escaping Tybalt sacrificed himself in order to save me, that’s expected to (you mentor sacrifices himself to save you). And from then on I only did quest for the order of whispers (why? I was working for the vigil). Then when we retake Claw Island after the victory, when you talk to Trahearne, at some point your character asks if he has to report to the correspondent person in charge, in my case, I could ask I had to report to Doern Velaquez or Warmaster Efut, so that was extrange, but I didn’t give it to much importance.
Later, speaking with a friend, he told me that wasn’t normal, so that’s why I’m reporting this.
And after I forget, at the moment I had to choose which order I should serve, I first wrongly picked the order of whispers (missclick), but quickly did “alt+f4” so I would be kicked out of the instance and have the chance to choose again (in the second case i picked the Vigil, because that was my intention all along).
