Guild Wars 2

First of all, I’ll back up my title with facts:
I have 4 characters with 100% map completion, I am among the first people to complete higher levels of FotM, my guild had unlocked all the guild missions before any other guilds on the server, and my guild leads an alliance of wvwvw guilds on my server.

It had been more than a month since I had stopped playing the game, while still checking the forums daily.

I truly enjoyed every moment of playing the game.
I love the community, and while I consider my self as “hardcore”, I am not entitled to being an elitist. I took joy in teaching other people and sharing tips with random people while having a good time. In my opinion, the best thing about this game is the quality of the community. Kindness is not a shocking word like in most other online games.

But the problem is in the new added content.
In spite of the fact that I had completed the new added content, it felt more like a chore than playing a game. I’ve come to realize that I don’t want to login and play, but I got to do so, If I don’t want to feel like I’m falling behind.

This is not a goodbye.
I just had to to let this off, and I felt like this forum is the most fitting place.
I am still checking the forums daily, and hoping to return and have a great time once again.

To sum it up, end game game is RP content and skins (which there are few of).
After doing countless FotM runs, getting 100% map on 4 characters and getting the best looking skins in my taste for my characters, the only thing I manage to log for is doing spvp daily.
I enjoyed this game to the max (the hardcore way), and I want to move on to another game, but I can’t seem to quit since the game is amazing, but that’s why it is so disappointing at the same time.

Maybe one day we can sail there via event without teleporting. Maybe get attacked by naughty sea critters while on the boat. :s

I get the feeling that there are stuff that can eat the boat.

End game content doesn’t have to to be raids.
End game content needs to be difficult and rewarding (yes, loots).
GW2 doesn’t have endgame content, it’s got RP content.
I love this game but hate is so much at the same time…

Dungeon Master is the only pve worthy title in my opinion.
There should be new titles for every 10 levels in FotM.

New dungeon ideas:
1)Make groups split into smaller groups, maybe with a split screen/bubble to show the other team, while working together to finish encounters.
2) Add jumping puzzle dungeons/Boss encounters that invlove jumping as part of tactic.
3)Unique dungeon items that grant new action bar skills.
4)Make more use of sieges/suites and even make the entire team operate a single moving siege weapon.

There are a lot more from where those ideas came from :P
We just need more content… (no offense, but I don’t consider living story as much of a new content)

Most people I run dungeons with (mostly pugs at 40+ FotM) agree that there is not enough content and the current content is not challanging.
After learning the fight mechanics it is almost not possible to fail any encounter even with a pug group, something which had never happened to me in any other mmorpg.

I confirm this is still bugged across at least 5 different servers.
I tried guesting on 4 different servers at the last 2 days and it is bugged in different stages at all of those servers.
Some show in event status: 3/4 cows alive and such but no cows and harpies keep spawning non stop.
You can’t use the catapult to get to the vista at the tower as long as the event is ongoing, hence I am stuck with my world completion and I only got this vista left to get 100%.

After 30 runs or so, I gave up and had bought the jetpack.
I also wasted about 500 gold worth of greatswords at the mystic forge.
It took me 80 keys to get my first fused ticket.
People who played 1/4 of my time played already got a legendary.
RNG is a pain…
But on the other hand, the fused gloves rewared for finishing the story feel too cheap because everyone can get them without any effort.
I would never wear those instead of my t3 gloves.
All I have to say is that I’ve got mixed feelings about this…
