Yeah, most of the part i always disagree with the living world contents, but is this kind of content i RLY like. Crown Pavilion isn’t this good, is hard to put ppl on the right way to get it done well, BUT the Queen’s Gauntlet is PERFECT! This is the RIGHT WAY Arena Net. Why? It’s a REAL challenge for the players, you RLY feels play the game, getting this solo challenge, changing traits, thinking in new builds, playing. Not zerging or stress up with random ppl.
THIS is the right way to do new content! Solo, Duo, instanced parties, instanced raids (If you want to create this kind of content one day), this is the way, not zerging open bosses with tons and tons of HP, is boring, something you need to keep in movement and not just stay on a safe spot, doing ranged damage and get the reward.
Content like The Queen’s Gauntlet brings the kind of challenge that makes you fells you’re playing.

Is….. Collision! Like in the screenshot, every player will collide when gets too close to another player, preventing the players create the stack strategy, will work for PvE and WvW. Creating new strategies about who will be in the frontline to block the passage for eles, rangers, can use high damage skills from behind and not just… Stack -> fire field, blast, water field, blast, stability, stability, water field, water field, water field… etc.
In Dungeons this will end some stacks in certain bosses and rooms.
OF COURSE you can’t collide in safe zones. o.o’’
And skills like Warriors Whirlwind Attack will still pass trough enemies players because the collide zone is too small [see the screenshot] to stop the skill OR you can put the collision system in WvW to work only with your servermates just to prevent the actual and boring stack and zerg meta for WvW.

A lot of people have been asking for GvG, but it should not be open world PvP.
ok, this is on GW1… on GW2 this guilds aren’t in war.

Would be cool some weekly GvGs for controlling the maps, cities, i dont know, just to heat things up on the servers. ._.

Agreed. Is the best for the server, because WvW you can up your level but you level isn’t more important than winning the match. >_>
It’s simple. You right click on commander name, and choose: Report.
Options to report:
Troll
Noob
etc…
o.o… My server have 80% noob commanders and the others 10% who know something, some of them now wants to troll, form a zerg, go to the towers doors and throw trebuchets and say on chat map: “Hu3 hu3 I’m a troll.” >_>
Just create this option, you report him for trolling, the game get you report with a screenshot + chat history and send to arenanet. Arenanet study the case look for others reports about the same commanders and punish him. Taking off his commander option and make his account unable to be a commander 1 month for the first time. 5 months for the second time and forever for the third time.

It’s simple and effective.
1. WvW have a serious problem, is always the same thing. You get your zerg and walk around. WvW need improvements to make the WvW more a Siege Battle. Make the map be larger, relocate the towers and castles to more strategic places, when you cap, you can build waypoints for example, but this waypoints are temporary. For example a WP with 1 minute duration will cost less than a 5 minutes, to balance this, make to everyone who dies need to be dead for determinate time, this time he can’t resurrect, so he’ll think twice before be stupid and only commanders can make modifications on the builds. We can have heavy and dense forests on the map where ppl can hide and form strategies.
2. Mounts, will be stables on the servers main places, this stables get suplies to create mounts, to have mounted combat, skills for each kind of weapon to the mounted stance. EVERY war have mounted soldiers, this is basic. This way you can create a cavalry squad.
3. Commander System, commanders can take you away of any siege build or horse. Also commands to regroup, attack, wait, build, etc. This commands will show to the player screen who is on his squad, for the nearby player will show on the minimap with the name of the commander who did it. Make possible report bad or troll commanders. If someone is afk for more than 1 minute, the commander will see a clock on his head and he can kick this player from the WvW, and a “ZzZz” symbol for example to ppl who is walking around the main base doing nothing for more than 5 minutes, he can kick too. So with this commanders will can control the population of the WvW, kicking off the useless ones.
Well, there a lot of things I can put in this post, I played a lot of MMOs for 8 years and I always paid attention on the game systems , know what works and not, but i’m sure noone will read after all. lol~
1. New true content, make the new maps be more challenger, go back to the old style of RPGs, on the new maps the technology inst 100%, so we don’t have the waypoints working, in place the wp we have some asuras building the waypoint, like we were rly getting new places and with new updates, these waypoints would be completed and working, giving a idea of true living world. New kind of events, history quest and why not, side quests too.
2. New level cap, I understand one thing, in GW2 level cap is nothing, you can raise the cap to 90, and two hours later, everyone get this level. So, with the new maps and contents with the “new world to explore theme”, you can make a new kind of level, not levels, but like the WvW a Rank, Adventurer Rank, this rank will give to you new bonus, new skills (for example, ppl can learn new skills with veteran NPCs of determinate class, a veteran warrior of a specific new map can teach 2 new skills, one for warrior with greatsword and another to sword, so players can make a side quest to learn this new skills.) With this new content we have new materials, new crafts and new gears. (And PLS the Ascended Armors appearance are horrible, change that).
3. Social Stuff(date, marriage, emoticons, etc), Guild stuff (guild house(Decoration(Make some of them craftable ), expansion, etc), guild rank based on participation of the members (participation on guild missions, WvW, etc))

It’s simple. Is put GW2 to have a combat mod were you can play it like a action game, like SMITE, TERA, Dragon’s Prophet, C9, Black Desert…
is totally possible because the actual combat mode can be easy ajusted to be like that.
I know this is a old topic but, with this new Blood and Madness update, Anet did some changes in the combat system.
So, ANet, PLZ create a option were players can turn on action mode for this game.
Is a simple thing. Here go a example.
You have a crosshair and a third person camera.
The foe that your crosshair stand up will be targeted. If you move the crosshair away from the foe, the target will be canceled, also you can lock your target pressing ctrl(make this customizable), in this way, even you move away your crosshair, the foe’ll still targeted until you press ctrl again.
The left click get the number 1 function and the right click get the number 6 function (make this customizable).
Is simple, and will make a lot of ppl happy, if you dont like? Just don’t use the system and will grant to GW2 another thing to use as feature, that will, in my opinion, bring some new players to the game, because Action Combat is one of the “new tendencies” of the moment.

Yes, the overflow IS the main problem.
Players stay in the Sparkfly Fen afk waiting for the Teq event to save a spot(This is other problem because you left your others things in the game like other bosses, dungeons and WvW, only to wait a fail event), but in the midle of the fight, lose the connection with the server, like me, and sent to the overflow server.
Arena Net, the event is amazing, but this is a ONLINE game, the real challenge here at the moment isnt the Tequatl, but connectivity problems.
