I just wana hear that a game I spent 60 dollars on will become enjoyable like it was the first 20 levels.

Gear score/ Looking for group / Duels

All things that should be in an MMO and aren’t in this.

Stupid.

Waves and trains of naked bots back at when im trying to finish leveling too 80…..

Le sigh.

Still not understanding how hard it is to just put a GM in the spots we all keep reporting and watch activity for an hour to find atleast 20-50 of them.

So lame.

Its funny… people think “the forum community” is the vocal minority.

When you have a forum full of angry and upset and frustration…. its not a minority anymore.

Hope Anet makes a genuine heartfelt post about all the problems and dislike people have with not just the patch… but the game and its direction in general.

because it makes forming groups easier if someone msg’s you you can view their gear profile.

Just provide it in everywhere but mists…

I thought everyone who was so “hyped” for this game got it for PVP….

Continue doing pvp nobody really cares about PVP gear as their is no indication of skill level assosciated with it.

For PVE there is some sort of skill. Either you can complete a hard end-game dungeon or you can’t and need to work on upgrading the gear you have.

For those of us who want to PVE in this “PVP” game (i’m guessing the minority) who cares for those of you who PVP ?

WoW has 10 million subs going on almost a decade for a reason…

Listen think of it this way…

They implement a gearcheck system…. You need a certain level to do " end game " raiding. So say you’re 100 points off to do a certain raid instance… you then have a new goal (for PVE mind you) to get your gear to that level in order to raid it and obtain better gear.

its just a progression thing for PVE.

If they put in a “LFR” system and a way to see peoples gear i’m kinda happy with it.

Its not that silly of a thing to ask for…. holy crap!

I only bring it up because everyone I try to get into an Arah group….. the group always asks what kinda gear I have and how much DPS i can do.

So wouldn’t it be easier to just be able to view a profile of someone rather then ask them?

DPS meters would help if you keep wiping on a boss….

you’d know who isn’t pulling their weight.

So if people can’t get good gear to raid in the end-game dungeons that are out now…. they can just go do PVP. Easier to get gear anyway that way

I think it would help those of us who are more interested in gearing up through PVE…

If you could see the gear of people you’re going into a dungeon with… it would help because you could know to either not take them or bring them along.

It sucks when people aren’t well geared and either:
a) make the run harder then it should be or
b) slow everyone else down from their laziness of not trying to get better gear.

It only makes sense for PVE if people are trying to get better gear in dungeons.

Can Anet use this so we can see who were going into a dungeon with and see how many agony res they have?

It would help alot to bring people you know are well geared so the run would be easy.

Just add “GearScore” in the game. So we don’t have to play with under geared kitten

Make a penalty for leaving games maybe???

If you buy more event chests it fixes lag and in game problems btw.

Pretty frustrated have been since launch with the game.

LFR needs to be in this game. Every MMO should have it… no reason for their not to be one.

GW2 definatly overhyped.

“THE PVP WILL CHANGE THE FACE OF MMO’S” everyone told me.

PVP is bloody awful. Targeting is terrible, the dodge mechanic is janky at best and class balance is a far way away.

It would of been nice if this game stayed in BETA until more was figured out specially in PVP.

People will play the story for a week, notice when it starts to get stupid and drops off and go back to WoW.

I just wana play enjoyable dungeons where melee classes aren’t useless and everything is balanced.

I’d also love a LFR system to make things 200 times easier.

That would go along way with alot of us.

If they continue to not implement this, it will help kill this game.

The game is not dying , the game is just going to its normal population after release like every MMO that goes out does. Every single one does this and yet people still come to say the game is going to end next month.

Second , this game is about looks , that is what made this game diferent and what made it stand out to the eyes of many who were tired of what pretty much every other offer.

Games are never meant to everyone , they have a target audience. Even MMOs who do try to captivate more kinds of players.

So if you cant stand a basic concept of the game , which is the fact end game grind is for looks , the problem is that this game is really not meant for you , there are plenty of other who already offer what you seek.

People who play PC games as much as some of us do come to learn that Gameplay > Graphics. Games can be as beautiful as ever, but if the gameplay isn’t there it won’t keep a community or its players together.

I honestly think if this game had a subscription either the dev’s would listen too us or the patches would be more thought out.

Games with subs’ that last going on almost 10 years… work for a reason I guess?

Still no “LFG” option of separate UI for PVE dungeons.

We still have to spam /map and beg for people to do dungeons with us??

I haven’t logged in in 3 weeks.

If this patch makes PVE better I’ll try again.

I’m looking right now.. not 1 person. Not in the last week have I seen anyone stream it.

Not so much even geared towards people wanting to watch it because it’s an “e-sport”… but even the common joy of watching people play a game they like,

Seven year old + WoW still holds 20-30k views going on 3-4 years now and its not an e-sport either. People just enjoy watching Battlegrounds or Arena or Raiding.

So I was checking out some of the “live video game stream” sites (own3d.tv and twitch.tv) and I noticed there “NOTHING” Guild Wars 2 related was being streamed on either site.

I remember the first 3-4 weeks of the release at least on twitch there was average I think 40k viewers watching Guild Wars 2 . Live streams help a game out dramatically and games are now even having the function of streaming directly to sites like twitch via in-game options. If some of you saw, EA signed a deal with “Origin” (EA’s digital distribution service) for in-game live streaming too twitch. These types of little things will go a long way specifically with “e-sports”.

I wonder what the dev’s and the community feel about the fact that nobody wants to watch or nobody is watching anything Guild Wars 2 related? Don’t you guys think if you saw 10-40k people watching Guild Wars 2 channels on either of these sites…. it would both a) make viewers curious to try and b) give a lot of exposure to the game?

I’m not flaming or trolling I’m just curious on an average players response to things like this. Specifically since Anet stated numerous times " this will be an e-sport".

That was weeks ago…. maybe a month? Still no changes.

I can’t enjoy this game anymore going into every 60-80 zone filled with many people…. none of them talk. Getting closer to “people” just turns into a line of 6-12 rangers with bears in a train going around the zone tagging mobs you’re trying to kill.

Didn’t you guys learn anything from your first guild wars???

Oh and the fact nobody in my guild or my friends list gets online anymore doesn’t help.

I just read that game spy article a few weeks ago? Seems worse now.

I haven’t seen any slowing down or stopping of bot’ing since Anet announced they were doing anything about it.

Ruins the feel of the game and has become so out of control.

Had fun till about level 40-50. Story turned into garbage… the DE’s felt repetitive, the dungeons are a chore with no defined healer or tank class, the systems in which you find/buy gear are flawed and I really wish I could get a refund and buy something like borderlands 2

Its easy and cheap…. its tempting.
