I had a blast on the new map and the mounts! both are absolutely amazing! I Spent the most of the time exploring the maps with friends and completing bounties. bounties are awesome! the only thing to make them better would be a timer when you pick one up so players don’t get to a boss too late.
now that the beta is over, I keep finding myself missing my raptor XD
Same! I agree with bridlegoose! to have this repayable would be amazing! but I like the Idea of it being a mastery! In Heart of thorns I liked the challenge of getting to the masteries, but now seeing this one maybe it would be nice to have a change every once in awhile? I just wish we could replay it on the same account! but yeah, having it as a adventure would be super awesome as well! I really like this Mini game!
Is it weird that I have used all three of my accounts just to play this mastery over and over? MAYBE! but that’s ok! I get to live my dream of proving myself as a Chef! I have become very familiar with the ingredients to make the Tajine stew! and have practiced and, hopefully, masted the most efficient way to use my kitchen work space \o/!
In all seriousness though, I love this new mastery! it was engaging and fun! I cant wait to see what else areanet does with the mysteries in this expansion! (I hope a return of the chef! BUT! only this time the players will be asking for the ingredients! MUAHAHAHA)
For anyone who has had a tough time with the mastery
At first its a bit tough cause it can be hard to hear what the chef is saying and where to find the ingredient he calls for. what helped me was going through it a few times to figure out where everything is! as well as turn on the NPC dialog under the chat options, then you can read what he called for in case you missed it. also! make sure you throw it after he stops moving. throwing it at him while he is moving can be annoying, believe me! I believe its on a timer! so you have to survive roughly 2 minutes and 45 seconds, but I could be wrong on that.
before I saw this I wasn’t one to believe in such things. Sure, the notion of a stag riding into battle on a raptor was a glorious one! but alas, this sort of thing just didn’t seem possible in the slightest. For one, raptors are extinct! and dear, as agile as they are, haven’t grown proper hands yet! they would need at least 30 more years to involve into something with opposable thumbs. So before seeing this I was never one to keep a camera in my inventory trying to catch a shot of one such being! but since this morning when I saw this, I cant shake the feeling of there being not just one raptor riding stag! but a whole herd! Thank you Mezmere (Nuti) for sharing this and openning our eyes to these creatures that live among us. we will think twice before killing any dear in our borderlands! for if there is a dear there is bound to be a raptor somewhere near by.
I honestly don’t feel they deserve a name at this point. Destinys Edge had done many heroic deeds, and awesome and amazing things by the time we catch up to them in the PS. I don’t feel that this group has done much of anything to deserve a title of anything….yet.

at 0:21, we see what looks to be omadds mechanism( isolation tank) to seeing into the eternal al. fits the blueprints we found in prosperity. it would make since, to build this mechanism, so close to the laylines, since the laylines are magic rivers running though the world.
