Ixliam – This was my name I used for many years on the mud I ran for about 11 years. I believe it was a god of insanity from a homespun campaign set from AD&D. Now he’s a Charr Thief.
Velannah – Name I just made up, was my priest in WOW, Sith Sorcerer in SWTOR, now my Ranger and Mesmer here.
Thorgrim Malmsteen – Good viking first name, with his last name being from Yngwie Malmsteen the guitarist. This is for my Norn Guardian.
Edward De Molay – Human Warrior, this is the first name I went by in the SCA when I was active in Meridies. Feel free to look me up on the armorial fellow scadians.
Chameleon Evergreen – Sylvari Engineer. I took Chameleon from the Xanth series of books, and the last name just gives it more of a plant-like sound.
The link for the Dev Tracker on the main forum page is suddenly in Spanish. Both the name and description are in Spanish, however when you click on the link it does take you to the english forum.
Yep. Sits for a long time logging in, but can’t get past character select before it crashes out.
Right before the servers crashed due to the login server issues, I bought a crafting booster. For about a minute nothing happened, then I saw the -150 gems flash up. Yet no mail was received (and still no mail) with the booster.

I’m still holding onto my bags hoping for patch notes that say the fixed it. I really liked what they did in GW1 when you beat the final boss in the series/expansion, and you got a token to pick out whatever gear/weapons you wanted. I think something like that would be better than “bag of random stuff”.
Same problem here. I play in windowed mode and the trading post text is incredibly hard to decipher.
I play in windowed mode as well (on dual monitors) and I’ve found if the text starts looking bad, if I move/wiggle the window slightly the text will clear up and go back to normal. No idea why it does that, but that is the solution I’ve found.
I started a new Sylvari Engineer and Norn Guardian, and if the NPC speaks first his audio dialogue is missing up until my character speaks. Once my character speaks, the voiced audio dialogue returns. I have noticed that the silent NPC’s mouths do not even move during the missing audio phase either.
One thing to keep in mind with the bots, which I see plenty of, is that ArenaNet may be putting “tracers” on these guys. If they are teleporting around like I’ve seen quite a few, they may be working to determine how they are doing it. That way, they can patch the method, block programs that allow them to do that, etc. Its very aggravating when you run into them and they even interfere with something you are working on, but just report them/email the exploits address if they are teleport hacking, and move on. Now if you could just kite Zhaitan to their farm spot…
I had this issue too, and I went up on some of my graphics settings. The font is now crisp, and doesn’t look like its two copies superimposed on each other. I had my UI at normal and still got the blurry look.
It happens as well with mesmer’s “Phase Retreat” skill, especially if the skill goes off right when a mob does a knockback. I’ve been in this underwater area a few times, others I get stuck inside a rock, cannon, etc.
I’m waiting on this as well. I’ve finished the quest and have the bags, but don’t want to open them till I hear that either “this is what you get” or “its fixed and you should get some yellow/orange/green level 80 gear”.
During the quest “Against the Corruption” at the entrance to the Royal Tombs, Trahearne died. Once I revived him, he is stuck and will not move any longer, preventing any progress on this quest. It appears I will have to restart it and hope he does not die.
Same here, just removed a yellow hammer and it vanished. Ticket #120905-004714
I have this problem as well. It happens when you are on a slight incline, and use the button that makes a clone and ports you slightly backwards. If you get in the right spot, you can end up under the map, in a rock/wall, etc.
