Unfortunately, about 3/4 of the time I use it now in WvW it either never goes off (even with the main target right in front of me) or it gets obscured (if they are up on a wall despite the fact my staff can still hit them). Anyone else having this problem?

This is by far worse than ever. I have had 0 issues with lag/rendering until now (excluding that previous patch that made everyone invisible). There are weird things going on with people/groups who intentionally go stealth (they just dont ever reappear) as well as not realizing you are in the middle of a pack of enemies because they never rendered.

This culling system should be configurable. I’m on a decent computer with a decent connection and I really haven’t had any issues until you start applying these broken patches (I’m hoping this one isn’t going to last for 3 weeks like that other one before its fixed/reverted).

This is a brilliant idea:

Why dont you give enemies default skins ie one for every class

Give an option to toggle this on/off. Same for teammates.

After investing around $300 into guild wars 2 I quit.

Try turning off SPI on the firewall if you have that option. The Comtrend’s (assuming its Comtrend NOT Comcast) have a funky limitation with their NAT sessions. If you have 1 computer using this connection, I’d try putting it into bridge mode to see if bypassing the router resolves the issue. Otherwise, get a DSL router that will work with this game (I can attest that the ActionTec GT724R works fine).

If you are really desperate you can try a 3rd party firmware (http://wiki.openwrt.org/toh/comtrend/ct5361) and see you get better results (at your own risk).

Everyone went invisible during WvW, including NPC's.

I just posted in the WvW forum, but the topic they had there was pretty old and this invisible player issue just crept up on me after the patch today.

Players would just eventually become invisible. Can’t tell if it was over time, but when 30+ players started consolidating at 1 place I was starting to notice I was targeting nothing but able to still attack (with the damage numbers popping up). I had to stop playing since this is quite game breaking when I can’t see the enemy who is close enough for me to attack.

Using an ATI 6990M.

The real problem here is invisible enemies. Give their algorithms time to match servers properly.

Also having this issue with enemies (especially the jellyfish) and my ally stuck in walls. And as a large Charr, the view gets distorted when backing up or turning and im looking inside a wall or it gets stuck zoomed into my head and I can’t see anything going on. Extremely frustrating.
