for that PVE support build, I had PUGs in mind because the one’s I’ve been in usually are terrible at working as a team, I figure I’ll try to keep them alive. …At least as long as they don’t abandon me when I inevitably get downed because we didn’t clear trash…

for the PVE damage build, again I had PUGs in mind because of the very same reason, and for the most part, the extra toughness keeps me alive, the might stacking keeps might stacked up on me as much as possible, and the increased AOE size is just to deal more damage I suppose, I could exchange it for Bolt to the Heart in air.

For that WvWvW damage build, I took into account that really… when are you NOT in a zerg of varying size? Again, from personal experience in WvWvW I chose a build that’s good both for doing damage, blinding, and swiftness. I thought that was one of the better ideas I had, given the general, albeit boring pattern of zerging in WvWvW.

I also had a conjuration build in mind for PVE damage/support, but I didn’t know what the point would be besides for frost bow and fiery greatsword.

Without corrupting myself on cookie cutter builds, I theorycrafted these 3 builds with a single purpose in mind.

I’m sure they know about the problem at this point, or at least I hope they do…

I’m concerned with why it’s happening. Since I don’t have the Guild Wars 2 error code booklet on my desk, I have no idea what the error means.

There must be something seriously wrong though for the entire PROGRAM to crash just from opening the trading post…

For me it opens, it loads, and sometimes it worked early on, but most of the time it loads, freezes, and then the game crashes as you all must know.

I hope it doesn’t come to me having to wipe the game and completely re-install it…

How about capes and mantles? Where are they? I want to look epic.

I’ve got this same problem and it’s gotten worse.

Now I can’t even open the BLTC without the game crashing completely.

I’m getting tired of this… why is this happening all the sudden? Been happening since the last patch for me as well.

Had this bug before, I don’t remember how it got solved so I’m asking (possibly again) for help.

Where should I go to fix this or is it a known issue being worked on?

Recently I’ve been on the search for a place to fit in, namely a guild but I find myself twarted because I can’t seem to develop my character’s backstory. It’s not that I’m completely ignorant of the lore behind GW2, I’ve learned a lot since picking it up, it’s just that I can’t seem to piece together something that would be personal enough but then again I don’t want to be just another face in a sea of faces.

I have it down that Kryta is the last major human nation still intact. Canthans have been defeated, Ascalonians are obviously ghost-people now for the most part, and Orrans are all Risen zombies/ghouls fighting for Zhaitan.

In my lore, I was born of Kryta and my family dates back to the early days of this human nation so I have a lot of connection with Krytan mythos. I actually like the personal story points that I went with, save for the circus thing :P. I was born to common folk, when I was a boy the statue of Balthazar in Divinity’s Reach glowed red when I touched it and red has always been my color. When I was of age I set out to satisfy my adventure-lust and rise up to be something more than a commoner. I trained in the Krytan militia in the town of Claypool learning how to wield the sword and fire the rifle. I then set out to test my self against the challenges of the wilds and even spent time as a gladiator, earning myself gold and learning how to mend and forge my own equipment. Now I returned to my home and set out to help my people, making my parents truly proud and serving a cause greater than myself.

That’s where I’m at right now. Where do I fit in from here?

Do I need to post more information? I have 12 views and no thoughts on the matter.

After the patch which is a mandatory download, I tried to log in but it said awaiting authentication. This is not right considering I don’t have authentication of any kind set up. I authenticated it to get on the tech support forum here and then went to look up my IP address on my router and modem. I’m using Windows 7 so I go to Open Network and Sharing Center and then I click on See Full Map. I hover over my gateway and it gives me an IPv4 address different than the one that’s called out to authenticate. The location of the authentication is a bit strange but that town it’s using is always the placeholder for the very small town I live in with other sites that I frequent. Basically, that is normal. But what bothers me is that the IP address this site is reading is different and it’s giving me this issue at all.

Can someone explain this out to me better?

Apparently all of the sudden my account has email authentication and I have an IP address coming up linked to my email address that’s different than my IPv4 address.

Did the patch I just downloaded do something here? Why is this IP address that I accepted, just to log onto this site from my email address, different than my gateway IP address (not the company, the modem+router)

I’m confused here and concerned now.

That’s the message I’m getting, along with the error code, whenever I try to finish creating my character. (pressing the arrow on 10/10, the name selection screen)

My internet connection is perfectly fine and I haven’t been able to find any information about this error code anywhere.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

EXACT SAME problem here…

I reset my modem, power cycled my router and modem, I even did it twice over. Still not working.
