This build is crap in pvp I must say.I also agree with Flumek
I had a ranger in a 2-2 match just eat me alive because of some buff he had enabled and was giving to team on his side.Allowing for more damage to be done with both classes.I went on other team to try out the build and was just eaten up by a kitten pet a reef drake how lame is that?

No I don’t know all these classes yet because I basically main a Gardian and necro.I was doing very well with the million minions until something with that build got screwed with and it is now not a option anymore.
I’m very furious with this game and pvp right now and I guess this is coming off more like a rant.

I changed to my necro because of the wins I was getting now the class seems off again.

I am on the 64 bit client and while running game it heats up my onboard northbridge chip.To the point of a powerdown.
MSI motherboard: 785gtm-e45
CPU:Phenom ii x 4 840
Obboard chipset:AMD 785g/southbridge SB700 also onboard graphics should be off they are not listed on the device table in windows.Yet the chip is getting very hot only while playing this game.
With that being said I’m using a Asus card that is now using AMD Radeon HD 5450 drivers.
While I was able to hit 70 fps on the 32bit client before all the screw ups after HoT was added on the 64 bit I’m crashing to 0 fps isn’t steady either.Mostly big world boss maps.

Seems like maybe Arena net is broken.

How the hell is Arena net saying 64 bit client is better when they do this.2kbs patch download.

I won’t recommend this game to anyone in the next year that’s for sure.

I’m running 64 bit client and drivers.Ati/AMD 5450
I didn’t have this issue on the 32 bit drivers.Everything is grey or red.Npcs and lands aren’t a issue.

I’m being told it maybe a render issue. To save memory.
Some insight would be nice.

Hello Jacob,

Thanks for getting back to us.

What you are experiencing is a number of “out of memory” errors. While we do have some suggestions for helping players work around this issue, ultimately we need you to understand that this is a limitation of 32-bit Operating Systems and not actually of Guild Wars 2 itself.
The main issue here is simply memory limitations inherent in 32-bit Operating Systems, which you can actually see below in your Game Advisor report:

— Memory: 4096 MB RAM
— Available OS Memory: 3328 MB RAM

According to our report, you have upwards of 6GB of RAM but due to how 32-bit operating system work, you can only use 4GB total. The problem arises through the additional video memory on your graphics card:

— Display Memory: 2423 MB
— Dedicated Memory: 1015 MB
-- Shared Memory: 1408 MB

This is where it gets a little complicated, but the short version is that the additional memory can push your total available memory into negative numbers resulting in crashes or simply, "out of memory” errors. Some players have resolved this by upgrading to a 64-bit operating system. Others simply have removed physical RAM from the system to bring the memory totals closer to values intended for that revision of Windows (32-bit). Obviously removing RAM from your PC is not an ideal solution but I wanted to give you all the information we have learned regarding these issues. You can read more about this issue from Microsoft here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929605. The important part is quoted below:

“For example, if you have a video card that has 256 MB of onboard memory, that memory must be mapped within the first 4 GB of address space. If 4 GB of system memory is already installed, part of that address space must be reserved by the graphics memory mapping. Graphics memory mapping overwrites a part of the system memory. These conditions reduce the total amount of system memory that is available to the operating system.”

One solution presented by players is to set the Flip-Queue to 0 or 1 on an AMD Graphics card. This setting is not available in the Catalyst Control Panel and can only be adjusted using third-party software. Please note: these programs are not endorsed or supported by NCSOFT or ArenaNet.

2nd Email.

Hi Jacob,

I’m sorry that you feel this way, we do have some “premade” troubleshooting steps, and we use them when we are absolutely sure of what the issue is. In this case you are using a 32 bit system, which has a cap of 4 gigabytes of RAM. You didn’t experience these before probably because you system wasn’t using all of the resources it had available.

My recommendation would be to get a 64 bit version of you operative system, but lowering the graphics setting to a lower level could work in the meantime.

Again, I’m sorry that this has left a bad impression of us, please don’t hesitate to get back to us if you ever need assistance with anything else.

Even though people with 64 bit are having same issues as I was this was their response.
Good luck Happy gaming elsewhere. The game has poor memory management and usage for a 32bit operating system so Arena net don’t say your client supports 32 bit anylonger.
Might I add this was nowhere near help.

Good luck to anyone with the crashing issues

I have not bought HoT and don’t plan to yet.
The halloween stuff may also be affecting this game.

I was just standing in Lions Arch and then I went into a treasure door for event and game crashed.
I have suffered 7 crashes since last night while playing with friends and doing boss battles.
Please get a fix for these crashes or I’m leaving this boring game.Yes I said boring.
Only reason I play this game is cause I know others that do.
I would like to add I redownloaded this game last night after all my crashes.
Error report is below.

Ok I just would like to say your not the only one:)
Although my specs aren’t great I am experiencing all of this.
Motherboard:MSI
Cpu:Phenom ii 840 x4
Asus/Ati 5450 drivers are up to date threw Ati
Windows 10
4gigs of drr2

My errors are exact just about, so no need to post them.
