Well I’ve been playing on and off since release, most oft than not late night… and I’m yet to see any ^^

Granted I seldom go to EB, so that may be it…

Anyway, “Last Updated 27th September, 2012” and “Timezone GMT +1” is enough for me to disregard it…

Let me just ask you a question, and I’m sure you’ll be able to work out the rest by yourself. Have you ever seen the tag FIX ingame ? Surely with 370 members this must be the most present guild in WvW, right ?

Having hardly ever gone to EB I can’t say about that, but I can confirm that for the borderlands it is something like 5/5/20-30 at night.
The “zerg” does switch maps, sometimes it’s even annoying how often you need to switch map ^^
Now magnus think before you write please, never since there has been a night team against us has VS ticked ~600 at night… if anything lately we have 200 while deso has above 300.

We sometimes have it during the day, and we almost certainly have a bit more players during the day than at night – although my word is not definite on this, not the time I play…

To be fair, while week-ends have never been VS’s strong point, this one was particularly painful, the lack of players was puzzling, culminating with having 2BL’s spawn-camped and one tower – no keep – on the 3rd on Saturday (late afternoon/early evening – don’t know what happened during the night but it didn’t seem to go smoother).

Don’t know… Piken have been beaten pretty badly by JS last week, JS seem to be kinda evenly matched with SFR…
We’ll need to see next week who comes out on top.

I’m pretty sure no one mentionned Piken… VS is a mainly pug server, nothing to be ashamed of, quite the opposite actually when you manage to do something with these premises. Afaic that’s what qwixx was meaning.

And yeah, this post now is pretty funny. This week deso has a stronger night presence than VS, yet they are still lagging far behind… could it be possible ?

The old claims from VS that they don’t have that many players at night but just have a 20/30 pretty constant number all day and organized be true ? Surely there is no way…

If everyone on your server gets sick upon entering T1… you might want to stick to T2.

There is one thing you don’t want to acknowledge : VS can show the best fighting skill they want, other servers will always come up with excuses. At least, those people posting on the forum, who can’t cope with loosing. Yes, sore losers, that’s what all this is about.

Understanding that, most people on VS don’t care any longer what other servers might have to say about them.

No one enjoys loosing… so, sure, you got that right !

The most unsettling is not about people who deserves or not being in T1… but rather about servers getting roflstomped because of mismatches :/

I’m pretty sure the serv which doesn’t have the coverage to be in T1 will not enjoy the free ride !

Depending on how JS fares against Kodash and Elona and how AR fares against Riverside and Baruch we might see a full French T1 in the next match up (after they reset the rankings…).

Not sure about the pertinence of this reset but… oh well…

That’s a problem still.

A serv in T1 which arguably should be above 2k, losses the next match up. It goes to 1450.
A serv in T8 which should be around 1k2 wins the next match up. It goes to 1550.

See where I’m heading ? Not next week, but the week after… we’re gonna have some crying everywhere…

Viz has short queues because there are not that many WvWers anymore. Those who play at night don’t sleep in the evening… they sleep in the morning.

SFR trolls will always refer to serv pop – and unnatural alliances – as it makes them feel better, as much in victory as in defeat. Nothing to be done here really.

The simple “Here you name your night capping groups. Even though you proclaim to not have any.” shows it pretty well.

Vizunah never denied having nightforce. They always claimed they did not have over time zone forces. The nuance is what matters, but obviously a troll will always read what proves his point, not what is written.

If you kill someone in 2 skills, it says nothing about their PvP skill. It says they are under-leveled and/or under-geared.

I’m sorry but I can’t fin the posts you are quoting… all I see is people flaming VS crying because of nightcap, but nowhere are those VS crying to be seen… but hey no problem, if it makes you feel better….

When I’m talking about coming back, in case you didn’t understand, it’s in terms of points (hence the “manage”) not come back to WvW, it takes more than that to demoralize VS players

I don’t see much complaints by Vizunah’s players…
None complains about nightcap, that’s something that was always part of the game.

They mentioned it to emphasize the fact that despite being as bad as everyone else seem to say they are, they manage to come back everyday, despite the nightcap, and stay 2nd.

@shadowwolf : I was just being sarcastic, responding to Ogre. Canadians and alliance are just usual excuses people find when being beat by french servs… on all tiers.

Nop reasons are not the same. As you say for the others the reason was let’s build a super server because we are tired of being off peak capped.

For ruin it’s more let’s join blacktide because they are crushing us so that we can go back to off peak cap without opposition.

The difference is quite revealing in my book.

Define “major guild”… seems hard to reconcile with ruin.

Since according to them they have never more than 50 players simultaneously and as everybody else could see they don’t have the organisation (or skill ?) required to play a role when there is something else than doors opposite to them…

There never were French Canadians capping things for VS. Maybe a handfull did play on the serv, no more. They were about as important to our victories as patrol upgrades.

Also I enjoyed discovering you were one of the first to actually ask for a NA/EU lock… while it would not have helped you – for the aforementioned reason – it still is a hell of a laugh when looking at the U-turn ^^

No but you need to understand, they owned VS and AS while they were allied, and while both these servers out-manned them. Really there is no challenge, hence no fun here

Well it’s a 100% completion, players that just started won’t expect to have completed it in a day… and contrary to what you are saying, in most match up it’s easier to take an ennemy’s garrison than to defend your own due to how the BL maps are made… ^^

Don’t count your chickens before they are hatched. There is a whole week of WvW ahead of us, and without the advantage awarded by night-capping, desolation doesn’t seem to be doing so well.

Well it does depend on the reason why those foreign armies stay. If they are not welcomed anymore, then it does feel like a conquest. If they are still needed then it is a babysitting.
You can ask whether a country unable to exist without foreign help should exist to begin with sure, but that’s quite a different topic. On this matter we went a bit off topic there… I suppose this was not about US foreign policy :/

For the record natures, teoria was talking about the previous week, the one VS decided to fight, and won. Last week no one really put much heart into it
