Since the weapons skins do not interest me in the slightest, I do not farm the area for crates. I farm the area for karka shells and blood (and largely thanks to the karka farm I have a full stack of Powerful blood now).
I usually get 1-2 crates per run, though, and sometimes they contain interesting stuff (like my brand new ship-in-a-bottle focus skin). It’s always nice to get them to see what goodies they have inside (and I’m perfectly happy to get more karka shells and passion flowers), but they are not on my lot-to-find list.
I definitely agree that lower areas need to be resurrected. Personally, the dailys encouraged me to go bak to low lvls because its easier to complete there. Also some daily challenges require this such as “complete 5 side kicked events”
Thieves are much more effective at this tbh. With my unlimited stealth build I can easily sneak past enemies, whether its a zerg or single player. And I can take a dolyak down in about 6sec.
Rangers would draw attention to themselves. First 1 person sees, then 2, then 3, etc. Remember you’re close to the enemies base.
Ok so I have two Visa gift cards laying around and this morning I checked the balances to see if I could buy gems. On one I have 19.14$ and the other 1.46$. I want to buy the 20$ pack of gems but it only gives me the option for one credit card. My question is, is there any way of using two credit cards for one order so I could get the 20 dollar purchase or do I have to bump down for the 10 dollar pack?
I’m guessing you can transfer both balances to your paypal account and use the paypal to pay for the gems. MAGUUMA OR DIE
I recently sent 4g to my friend’s character and 4g to my friend’s other character. He did not receive either of the mail. Has anyone else had this problem and what did you do to fix it? Should I contact support?

That is a WvWvW video, how do you kill anyone in SPVP. Your stealthed 90% of the time. How do you deal with trying to hold points?
No this vid is of tpvp/ spvp… He can hold points because He doesn’t rely on stealth. But, this is a build that may get hard countered by ele, guards, and esp necro.

In WvWvW people don’t stand in one place for caltrops to be effective.

That isn’t exactly bunker, my necromancer has a lot of chill, that means your heartseeker will not be able to go back and fourth like such in the video. In SPVP Fights are more in closed space areas too rather then large open places, I would just place down marks where your combo field is since I know you must be in it.
dont be so quick to dismiss it. there’s no point of me trying to convince you that it’s viable in spvp, it’s best to see it in action

When you assess the other classes (excluding warrior)… their contribution to the team is their own…and not dependent on the other team members. A bunker guard or trap ranger does not rely on his teammates to bunk or trap a point (sure they can’t do it forever and do require teammates to assist but in general all else equal…they provide their contribution independent of the teammates assist). The ele obviously needs no reliance to do… everything. The hgh engy and necro dish incredible condi burst dmg to assault bunkers and are valuable on their own right. The mesmer brings utility to the group and can assault bunkers as well.
And a Thief job , like a 4-kit roamer-glass Engineers is to find and kill over and over again , the same weakest enemy
20 kills = 100 points to ur team and 80% of the time ensure that there are 4 enemies vs 5 of ur friends
Unfortunately in my case, there was no “Weakest Enemy.” all of us were pretty good. I pretty much tanked ALL three thieves spamming heartseeker on me. Killed all three of them.
Thieves are weak as crap in SPVP, even the stealth ones can’t do enough damage to kill me when I just AOE the ground.
well, anyone can do this, it’s called dodge roll. if they were spamming heartseeker, you were playing baddies
I’m looking for exotic trinkets that add bonuses to all stats, like the celestial amulet in pvp. I know there are ascended trinkets that add to all stats, but I don’t have enough laurels atm; are there any orichalcum trinkets that do this?
You’re trying to sell it from within your bags?
Is it residing in a slot of an invisible/hidden bag?
If no, try moving it to your bank and back to your bags.

There’s no option to sell my super long bow on the trading post. I’ve sold a super great sword before. It’s rare, not green. I haven’t applied it to any weapons.
I currently have the whole slayer’s armor set (pic related) except for the shoulders. Anyone know how to obtain this? I’ve tried searching for it online. you can’t buy it from the trading post, i got the other pieces from story mode. i’ve already completed story mode. It exists in pvp; i’ve previewed it in the pvp locker. it’s really bugging me that i dont have a full set. thanks in advance.

In lions arch, there’s a line of dungeon armor traders. on the first tab all the skins for the armor are the same in preview, for each trader. the only difference is the armor has different names, for each trader.
so my question is: if i buy armor, for example, from the ascalon trader. will the skin be the same as the armor on the second tab?
