I think I’ve gone and done it! Saturn Ascendant, my Lv. 10 Guardian, went from various entry-level armor pieces (mostly Chain) to wearing a “Knight’s Reinforced Scale” chestplate and waistplate. When he reaches Lv. 11, he’ll get “Splint shoulder armor” to go with it.
I’ll have to find a way to post pics soon.

To me, it’s best to craft on multiple characters not-as-much for each character (which is how I prefer to do it), but so that out of several characters, you can have at least one with a skill at armorsmithing, weaponsmithing, cooking, and so forth. Anything they make can be distributed to the other players via the Bank. Although I have one or two characters with at least one trade in common, one does most of my armorsmithing, while another does most of my weaponsmithing.
WulfKaiser, most of the “gemstones & jewels” are also upgrade components. Copper Doubloon is the “Magic Find” equivalent to the first 5 or 6 stones in that section. These 4 doubloons should be added to the bank slots.
Howdy.
Last night I decided to do some random Armorsmithing in order to get my crafting levels up. At some point, I got it up to 25+, meaning I can now make helmets and have access to more (jute) insignias.
That being said, I was (somewhat) happy with the stats of the Chain helmet I made, but didn’t care for the style. So I decided to Transmute a L40 Vigorous Splint Helm over my just out of the fire L15 Precise Chain Helm. (For those who don’t know, the new helmet retains the Vigorous prefix, even though it applies to stats that are no longer present.)
Has anyone else transmuted a higher level item onto el cheapo items that are only supposed to last until they reach said higher levels? (Like Darksteel armor over a breastplate/coat with a L5 or L10 requirement, for example. Or transmuting a preferred armor or weapon style over an item with better stats you earned as a quest reward.)

Very nice. Even uses the double letter convention. “Urzatron”… is your color of choice “Island” blue, or “plains” white?
Right now I have an Asura Mesmer, inspired by Milestone Comics (now incorporated into DC). Lysistrata Jonzz (if apostrophes were an option, it’d be J’onzz).
I’ve been told that the Avenger’s weapons vary from race-to-race. Currently, I have characters who are human, Asuran, and Norn. So far, only my humans have Avenger weapons.
What do the Avenger’s Staff and Avenger’s Greatsword look like for the Asura? Can anyone post pictures of them? (I suppose Hammer, Rifle etc. would be useful too…)
