Even though I may have come off as really upset in my first post in this thread I do appreciate the hard work for SAB and interaction you’ve displayed in this thread.
When I posted, I was one of those people experiencing the knocked into the river off a rock with no movement or during a midair jump for no apparent reason. I then spent 1 and a half minutes getting ragdolled down the rapids. I had been at this for 2 hours and that sort of thing tends to color one’s opinion.
One thing I’d like to say as you consider solutions for future worlds; if you’re going to add many extra paths and such, be aware that this ties into achievements. Explore all secrets/obtain all baubles in one sitting. Please bare this in mind when you are designing the next levels.
I’m no longer 10 year old me whose only fear of interruption during a 8 hour marathon gaming session is the Wrath of Mom. I’m an adult with obligations and tend to cut my playing session into smaller chunks.

You know, I played Atari and Nintendo platformers extensively.
My first gaming consisted of Mega Man, Mario, Ninja Gaiden, Zelda, etc.
World 1 was a fun homage to them. Yes, I blew through it on infantile mode and had no trouble on normal mode. I had fun doing it, and went back to grind out all the achieves.
World 2 seems like taking all the most frustrating aspects of those old platformers and piling them all into 1 game while adding a couple new aspects of difficulty.
Things I’m talking about are the pixel perfect jumps coupled with poor targetting on weapons added to grinding for items joined with unforgiving 1 shot mechanics all wrapped up in long slogs of zones with no save points.
The added dimensions are taking forever to die(hello rapids, I’m actually writing this as I’m tabbed out dying in the rapids) plus lag adding to difficulty plus client/camera issues.
I’ll beat it eventually and get the achieves eventually, but I won’t enjoy it. If I feel like I’m getting trolled by a developer, I equate that to poor game design.
Lastly, ratchetting up the difficulty so far between world 1 and world 2 at the same time as adding an infinite continue coin to the cash shop is definately perceived as a cash grab.
Just now finished today’s daily.
Finished:
Daily Kills
Daily Veteran Slayer
Daily Gatherer
Daily Champion Kill
Finished last two at the same time:
Daily Leveller
Daily Mists Caravan Disruptor
Received no rewards even though it says daily complete.
Actually no, as this post seeks to address the underlying premise of what constitues a guild?
According to hours of lore and playtime, Destiny’s Edge is a “premier” guild in game, and yet the new content labelled “Guild Missions” would not apply to them.
I thought about it, as I read through those other posts where so many were telling people they should join a “real guild.” I believe you were author to several of such posts.
Well, what is a real guild? The only truly defined in game guild has 5 members(7 if you include the dead and the dog).
I ask because in your current “Guild Mission” iteration, they’d be excluded from the content. The influence cost is prohibitive and the missions themselves are balanced around large amounts of players.
I find it amusing, considering such a large portion of storyline and lore is based around this five member guild.
I suppose I’m just annoyed as I haven’t really had any content added for my small guild since Wintersday(2 months and counting) other than some quickly completed “Living Story” achievements that looked like they took a whole day of coding. Oh, and I get 1 laurel a day in addition to my flask and coin.
I enjoy this game, please give me a reason to continue playing it.

Guild influence gain has frozen at 627. A guildie and myself have run several dynamic events today and the last logged guild influence was 18 hrs previous to our current play(from when we played last night).
Update: This only appears to happen in Dredgehaunt Cliffs. Other zones, grouping and doing dynamic events seems to work fine.
