Level 42 isnt exactly representative for level 80 performance though…

Ive got a mixture of Berserker and Knights gear with a Vit/Healing/Prec headpiece.
With 25 Stacks of precision/accuracy I reach about 70% crit rate while having around 14.2k hp. It isnt a lot of hp obviously but I do not see the problems with survivablity that some ppl seem to have?

Im running a Greatsword + Scepter/Torch build with Judges Intervention, Bane Signet and Retreat as Utility. I usually teleport into groups of players, do my thing and get out again without dying – often even without having to have to heal myself.
(Yes I do die sometimes, but expecting to survive just about anything isnt really realistic )

Well im not sure, I never played thief – but have you tried to look up the skill to begin with? Strike from stealth + double damage from behind the target (backstab – doh!)
sounds legit to me.

Ive tried BattlePing free trial and used the NL server – it fixed my lag issues.

Im not sure if i’ll give it some more time or ill just get a month sub for BattlePing for like 5.50$.

I’d recommend all people with odd lag to try it out as well (or any other Proxy for that matter). It will most likely not fix lag on big events like Dragon fights or 3 sided mass battles in wvw, but it did definetly fix the odd lag for me!

There are hardcore WvW guilds on Desolation? Uh … okay.

Anyways maybe you’re forgetting that Desolation did the same NightCap stuff to weaker Servers? But in that case its their fault for not fighting back, right?

Im saying it again: Don’t get mad, get even!
(yes im from Desolation, and I do believe its up to us to fight back, not ANet’s call to implement regulations!)

But rather than recognize that this is why those people win and try to emulate their behavior, they’d rather complain about how unfair things are and demand changes to game mechanics.

In short, rather than help themselves, they demand a handout.

Im sitting in Queue for WvW, farming events in Cursed Shore.
Like usually during prime time im experiencing lag of a magnitude that goes from maybe 2 – 3 s all the way up to like 20 – 30s.
Then I decide to have enough of it, I want to zone out to go elsewhere.
Teleport – disconnect – back to cursed shore. Great!
Another try!
Teleport to a different zone – disconnect and back to cursed shore.
Okay lets go to the mists…. hit the button.. well guess what.

So am I supposed to wait for the people to log off to be able to move again?

Please fix your routing, some people have really horrendous lag while others at the same time have no issues at all (this isnt PC related my FPS etc are very fine…..)

I think what they not want you to do is getting these things done within 2 days of your so called ‘grind’. Think about it!

Sure you want your special dungeon skins, sure you want your legendaries.
Would it make sense from A-Nets PoV to make it possible to achieve it all in a week?
The longer you play, the better for the company.

And from my PoV: Do what you enjoy, not what you feel like you must do. You get bored of one part then enjoy another. PvE, WvW, sPvP.
There is a lot to do, dont limit yourself!

You’ll jump on an airship with 4 others and spam installed weapons.

1) Have you tried to ‘party’?

2) I think you overexaggerate a lot, I have no trouble moving around, pulling several mobs and AoE them > faster loot. Maybe its my Class? Maybe its your playstyle?
In any case, im not the only one doing that so you might be good to reconsider things.

Same here for me on Desolation – heavy lag and disconnects!
