Despite all the wait, it was legitly a really fun paid tournament for some strange reason. I think it may have been the fact that the community actually got the paid queue to pop. Props to Sat for trying so hard while I was slaying dragons in PvE.

Currently, you can skip the first personal story (Intro) by “Join a Friend in PvP” option in your friend’s list.

My asura is stuck in her level 1 personal story quest. I am stuck in Lion’s Arch/Rata Sum. Is there anyway to get back into my personal story quest??

Because it is very difficult to have an Esports mmo pvp. You must fill the needs of PvErs and (supermanmodehardcore) PvPers.. If you cannot achieve that, you will undoubtedly have displeased players

I never post threads and rarely come onto the forums but I felt a great need to post this as I first bought this game in high hopes of it succeeding as a PvP game. This idea might already be in process of development, I’m not sure (because I am a terrible follower of the forums). But regardless …

I believe that a great way to pull people into PvP is to introduce a solo/duo queue matchmaking system just like the system LoL has. Part of the reason why players are discouraged to play TPvP is because it requires the need to gather a team of five in order to play. What we need is a system that allows people to play whenever they want without the pressure to find four other people they match with. There are many great players out there that probably have difficulty finding other players to queue up for tournaments because they are either not well known or of low PvP rank.

It is also a fun way to encourage players to actually play because at the state the game is in right now, players don’t have much incentive to play TPvP. With this matchmaking system, people will try to prove themselves by raising their rank in solo/duo queue and higher ranked players can have privileges to exclusive rewards (new weapon/armor cosmetics). Better players will be matched with people around the same skill level. This will also allow skilled individuals that have previously not been able to play in teams to be scouted for and allow new PvP players to match up against each other as well.

If needed, you can add an ingame voice chat system to allow players to communicate in these games.
