There is no grey area to disrespectful, racist, childish antics such as these in this game.

“While playing Guild Wars 2, you must respect the rights of others and their rights to play and enjoy the Game. To this end, you may not defraud, harass, threaten, embarrass or cause distress and/or unwanted attention to other players. This includes posting insulting, offensive, or abusive comments about players, repeatedly sending unwanted messages, reporting players maliciously, attacking a player based on race, sexual orientation, religion, heritage, etc. Hate speech is not tolerated.”

^ Every single time you press “Play” you accept these terms and others. You can avoid being banned by not accepting these terms, which in turn will not allow you to play. Learn from your mistakes, come back in 3 days, try not to throw racial slurs at people in a video game.

Even if i did, i wouldn’t. Do people really take a video game this seriously lol… it was just light hearted banter and nothing serious. All i said was that the chinese should go play on their on server since they were spamming chinese language on NA server.

The punishment didn’t fit the crime, 3 day ban without any warning or at least a 1 day ban is overkill.

Hi, whenever i’m in events with 10+ people i can’t kill monsters and get no exp.

I’m using guardian with a staff but i can’t click to auto attack as i click on a team mate or the monster dies before i click on it or i just lose my mouse cursor because the screen is so busy.

Only way i found was to spam tab and 1 but is that the only way to tag mobs in massive evnts with a lot of monsters??? it is really tedious

That’s because no one cares about dynamic events that are not world bosses and that don’t give you a daily chest with a yellow item guaranteed.
Until Anex fix the rewards, you won’t see a lot of people doing it.
Hopefully, exept group events, you can solo them.

There are really cool group events like killing big bosses, defending/capturing a point against many enemies but i can’t try them out there was one time there was one other guy in a group event for killing a boss.

It took us 25 minutes to kill the monster and all we got was a few hundred experience points and karma….

I’m on TC and even there the mid level zones are all empty most of the time, you’ll be hard pressed to find anyone there or even run across anyone while playing. Most people are in the really low levels doing dailies or really high level zones gathering or focused in LA running FotM because the other dungeons save for CoF P1 aren’t profitable.

LS sometimes focuses people in a single zone for a time but that’s all you’ll see.

Until their kitchen sink is implemented (the massive UI update that all mmo’s must have in order to keep things fresh) and the combat updates are complete to fix the problems with CC, support, and condition damage we’ll be seeing alot more empty zones.

I’ll call you on this. I’m on TC and there’s almost always people in the middle zones, even in prime Australian time.

That’s my point of my previous post…
Some say it’s empty and some say it full off life, how empty is empty to OP? To give him help to decide if it’s empty or not is to know how full of life the server has to be according to OP.

I base this on assuming OP’s server isn’t realy empty it may be low populated.

Most people on dragonband are in World versus world… Dragonbrand is ranked number 5 in WvW, so its a WvW server, not PvE.

also i went into a WvW castle and nobody there too….

I just started playing the game on the dragonbrand server, i picked it because it was under “very high” server load so i figured it was populated.

I’m level 31 guardian and nobody is playing the game…i find it hard to level up and progress since dynamic events, group events can’t be done alone so i get no exp!

Even Lion’s Arch is empty like nobody is even playing, i feel like im playing single player.

I’m from australia and nobody playing in my peak times….. game feels desolete and it is really boring since it relies on others to play and participate in events.

they really need to combine servers into 3 big servers

I just started this game, people are telling me dodge is important.

I’m using a sceptor and whenever i dodge, the auto attack gets reset and it doesn’t attack anymore and ihave to click on the mosnter again and i lose out of DPS.

How can i make it so that it is still attacking after dodge?

Anyway guys, i tried out the sceptor and it has gotten me through the quests, even thogh it is a bit boring just sending slow missiles lol

I would like to offer you a bit of off topic advice so that you can continue to play, learn and take part in this helpful community on the forums Generally the forum moderators tend to frown on trying to get around the language filters by changing the spelling of certain words. You may find this information helpful for two reasons. It may help you avoid infractions or forum suspensions. It may also help you avoid issues in game as using the same way to express yourself in chat might also result in a suspension. Just giving you a heads up.

Hi and welcome to the game.

I have a level 80 guardian and I have restarted many guardians to see the different cultural storylines.

The first mechanic in this game that is overlooked often is dodge. Dodging (and also simple moving around) can help you a lot when surviving.

The second thing that is important is that you know when you can fight close (more damage) and know when you have to back away (safer). At level 7 you got a second weaponslot. I would advise you to put in a ranged weapon (staff or scepter+shield or scepter+focus). when a fight gets tuff you can always back away.

The third thing is that you should be aware that when it comes to events that are above your level you can get in trouble more easy. e.g. the cave troll in Queesndale. Even with my level 80 guardian I have trouble to staying in close combat and I often have to back up to a ranged weapon.

Last of all, if you hit the problem that you can’t do things off your level or below, there is a trick for that. It is to change area.

You are in of the 5 starting area’s. This means you can change. To do this go to your home town, somewhere in the center you will find a purple portal. Go through it and you end up in Lion’s arch (the main town). You end up in a plaza with several other portals. Go through any of them and you come into the hometown of a different race. From there you can go to the starter are of that race with new low level hearts and events to do.

If you are on a european server feel free to add me to your friendslist. I’m happy to help you a bit on the way, show some tricks and give advise, and if needed even provide you with a bit of cash to get your armor repaired. I am prolly online in bout 90 minutes.

Man, i’m a CHarr…i think i should change area

i dont know how to dodge…i find dodging bad because i dont know when im going to get attacked and when i dodge and lose out on DPS because i roll away from enemy.

They really dont teach you any combat mechanics at all….no idea how to attack and dodge effectively.

Hi, i’m a level 7 guardian.

Even if i farm and do a lot of events outside of the main story, i’m always a level or two behind the recommended for the main quest.

And i can never finish instanced quests where multiple monsters spawn and attack me. I always die against multiple enemies so i can’t even progress through the game..

This is a terrible intro the the game that GW2 has… Absoultely no guides or tips on the actual game stats, combat techniques etc..

I’m just thrown into the world and i just follow the quests and i die and now i can’t do anything with no money…. how can i die so easily to monsters a level or same level as me?? i tried buying armour too
