Fort Aspenwood is always looking for more organised guild groups. Our guilds work well together, regularly playing off each other’s movements. We will megazerg IF totally necessary. But many of our commanders are opposed to it. Most of the times it’s multiple groups working multiple objectives together. That being said, your guild will not just become part of a zergfest should you guys join FA.

With our current matchups, Fort Aspenwood has been on the losing side in term of numbers for weeks now. But we keep on fighting, using tactics over numbers and we’re still holding strong.

So if you’re looking for a never-surrender-server that doesn’t believe in megazerging then FA is a good home for you and your guildies

Edit: Oh and I’m a SEA player and FA has many talented players that do good work during Oceanic and SEA timezone.

Personally I didn’t feel the nerf all that much. Speaking from a WvW perspective, the only time I used Clustor Bomb at 1200 was keep/tower sniping. Other times it was purely for point blank combo field blasting. SB is still fine as a mid range sustained AoE damage weapon (trick shot + sigil of fire) and mobility weapon.

Either an adjustment to animation or an option to stop animation. Anything to stop the clipping issue the wings look so good. It’s a shame that they clip Asuras

I have to imagine you are trolling right? Not only are you clicking your skills but you mostly just use Staff 1 spam. Also you pretty clearly have equal or > numbers than they do, remember it doesnt draw all of your allies.

Firstly, this is obviously trolling. It was a hard day earlier during AU primetime so we decided to spawn camp the SoS militia after repelling them off lake tower. And spawn camping should never be taken seriously

Secondly iAmEm isn’t the guardian in the video. He is the ele commander. Just wanted to correct that misconception.

I must say I am very impressed with SoS’s SEA presence tonight. You guys really gave us a run for our money in FABL. Hats of to TC as well. Just when we had our map nice and green again you guys came and turned it blue. Nice fights all around guys! I love our timeslot

Highly recommended for all SEA and AU players looking for a friendly and awesome WvW guild to call home. Right now we have players from the Phillippines, Malaysia, Singapore, Australia, North American and even some Europeans. And we’d love to add you to that mix :P

I’ve been with FA from the very begining and it is a fantastic server! You won’t find a more kick kitten server than this. You’ll hardly ever see FA running away from a fight. We are a battle-hardened-tough-as-nails-rainbow-kittens-on-the-inside bunch. If you are too, you might just a closet Fort Aspenwooder

After some testing I discovered it was crashing because of Battleping. I’ll try reporting this to them instead.

Starting today my game crashes every time I try to load a character. I’ve tried restarting guild wars and also restarting my computer but it didn’t help.

I also tried sending an error report via email but I got an error about that too. These are the details of the crash:

Hey! I dont have that much experience with the Thief but this is what I know:

The most common (or at least what I gather from forums and what I see in WvW) Thief builds are:
D/D (dagger/dagger) burst damage and P/D condition damage.

In the case of D/D burst damage builds full berserkers or a hybrid that mixes in valkyries or knights is good. It focuses on killing fast with high damage skills like BS (backstab) and HS (heartseeker).

As for P/D most go for full carrion sets. The builds focuses on stealthing with CnD (cloak and dagger) and stacking bleeds with Sneak Attack.

There are other less common builds such as P/P burst damage, S/D (sword/dagger) daze lock, S/P pistol whip burst, D/P stealth build and even D/D condition build.

Generally going for full berserkers (or hybrids) is good for any direct damage build while full carrion is good for condition stacking builds.

A “common” condition build is one that mains P/D. It focuses on Cloak and Dagger to stealth and Sneak attack to stack bleeds. Another less common build is a D/D build that focuses on dodging and stacking bleeds with Death Blossom and Caltrops.

I run P/P and D/D (D/P pistol sometimes too) in WvW and I LOVE IT. P/P is definately viable imo. You just have to see it for its strength – a high (note that it is not the highest) burst damage single target range weapon. Think of what you want to do, how you want to play and pick a weapon set that suits that.

Every time I remove my transmuted Anonymity Hood AFTER trying to change its color (the new colors don’t show up in game even though I changed them) my game crashes. Hope you guys can fix this asap thanks!

I am WM leader in Kaineng sever.

Kaineng could go to T2. But we can’t go now coz there is a reason.

2 days ago, after we occupied and upgraded the entire borderlands, we had a Kaineng server meeting of guilds to exchange opinions.

The participants: WM, TL, RUN, RISE, CO, Ph, KOR, Meow, RE, SoS

Although, many controversial issues were brought up, I did not respond to all the issues. However, I was disappointed to learn that some misinformation was being let out about how the meeting unfolded and I am writing this post to fix that.

1. We suggested to guilds to focus on the borderland where they are responsible (assigned) to make Kaineng Server stronger for T1 and T2. Although almost every participating guild agreed, RE and SoS did not. RE later clarified their situation and we have since worked things out.

2. The idea using a certain forum to conduct a campaign that requests help from other guilds who were not in the meeting and PUGs was not concluded because RE strongly wanted to use their webpage for the campaign. We still have not yet found a solution to this problem, but will try to after we have resolved our current dilemma.

3. SoS who were originally in T8 had dissatisfaction with the newcomer WvW guilds including WM. WM moved in Kaineng 6 weeks ago and we have fought all 6 weeks for Kaineng. I don’t understand why we deserve such hostility. We only want to fight for Kaineng, same as everyone else.

Thus, all 8 guilds (TL,RISE,RUN,CO,KOR,Ph,Meow) including WM agreed that it is hard to organize the server and WM and TL including other guilds have decided to take a temporary break from WvW.

We the WvW guilds of Kaineng would appreciate it if certain individuals would stop spreading misinformation about this problem. I really want them to show their ability in WvW and not on a forum. I always love PUGs and guilds of all sizes. We hope we can help our server to prepare for next tiers and we hope we can help Kaineng to be the best server of all. However, if most Kaineng members do not want us, we will consider moving to one of the other servers where we will be welcome.

We will come back as soon as after this problem solved.

I feel the passion behind your post, so I wish you all the best in sorting out the issue. It’s great to see people feel so strongly for their server and want to make it great

CD, it’s going to be weird not having you as an opponent in the next match. You all were formidable opponents and certainly gave us many great fights over the weeks. Steel sharpens steel and our rivalry has been fun. I look forward to facing you all again

FA always does this and then betray the people they “teamed up” with and fight for second place.

I can’t speak for the whole server but I personally like having IoJ as an opponent. It’d just be a shame to lose you guys

It’s not just a numbers game, but how well the guilds on each server communicate across the entire battle map. Once, the members of RISE were holding out in CD East Keep against a far larger force. At the same time, on different borderlands, GoF and KH were conducting major offensives, but commanders in all three guilds made sure to relay information back and forth. When the inner gates at the keep in CD hit critical level, RISE put out the call. Immediately, GoF and KH put their own plans on hold and a combined force tp’ed into the home borderland. The inner gate fell right before we got there, but RISE managed to hold them off long enough for all three guilds to come together and wipe the enemy out.

The thing is, the above situation isn’t a one-off for our server. While GoF is distracting enemies at one gate, you might find TG using catas on the keep’s walls elsewhere. When LaZY is attacking an enemy garrison, there’s a good chance that KH is cutting off all supply to it while KõME is trebbing the walls. I’ve even seen instances when other guilds were invited to an ally’s TS channel during off hours to consolidate forces, where the host guild’s members were instructed to follow the orders of a guest commander like one of their own. That’s a lot of trust and respect right there. All the guilds in CD are autonomous, but we’ve been getting better at working together.

Hats off to CD for your inter-guild communication. I’m always impressed with the way you guys manage your presence in the different maps. I guess we still have a lot to learn in this aspect
