1 person should not be able to stop a zerg of 15+ alone. Delay yes but stop no. Otherwise all you would have to do is place one person in each tower and keep to wipe out a zerg which will be extremely annoying.

ie. A-Let’s take this tower/keep
B-Sorry but there is someone in there
A-That means we can’t take it otherwise we will wipe
B- If only that one player wasn’t in that tower now we can’t cap anything regardless of how many we have….

I don’t know about the rest of you but I have been playing WvW constantly for a long time and can probably speak for everyone when I say that this WvW reset will be unlike any other.

New influx of players due to new update
New server merges (for low population servers only)
New rewards

and the list goes on…

this is just the beginning of a new era. Things will be better when the Alpine maps come back.

ANET this will definately compensate for the lack of content and the new borderlands that need rework. Keep going down the right path of what the community wants not just what you think will impress us. THANK YOU

I’m not referring to having it be watched. WvW use to be enjoyable because it made you strive for 1st place server wise amongst other servers in your league but that is not longer relevant since tournaments have been postponed.

I’ve been seeing the wvw tournament vendor with things to sell but there is no way of acquiring them since we haven’t had a wvw tournament in over a year. Either take out the vendor from wvw or give us the tournaments. I see spvp tournaments being managed but wvw seems to be neglected.

This is a problem because doing wvw seems kind of pointless now unless you are only looking for fights. PPT seems pointless when you don’t have an end goal such as reaching first place and have tournament tickets rewarded to you.

If anyone else would like to put their input on wvw tournaments feel free to do so.

So far i just didn’t like that I had loot show up in my chat. I just had to change it so that it wouldn’t show up by: going tab options> game messages> and unchecking inventory

If we in fact need to have the new BL’s can’t they just rotate the new and old ones on a weekly basis so that we all have some common ground?

yes, but when you put into account that some people who try the game out for free and never come back there is a problem. Those names will be bound to the free accounts and therefore will never be able to be used ever again.

I would like to have the ability to change the shift + click function to link items/abilities if possible. It would be nice to give people the option to change the default setting on linking items with a different key binding rather than having it default for everyone.

I can’t say how many times I have died because I was trying to dodge (shift) and instead it linked an ability to chat. Every game I have played that has a dodge function “Shift” has been my default so I can’t change it.

Shift is really close to the location of many gamer’s functions in a keyboard and since linking a weapon or skill is not necessary to be in the “Shift” location I believe it would be best to give us the option on what key binding we want it to be set to.

for now I would say to just settle for a bum tag. Or start up a squad and use the bum tag that way.

This is definitely a step in the right direction. Who ever thought of this idea should get a promotion. It makes more sense and makes each kill actually count towards something now.

Being able to one shot players with the hammer just doesn’t seem right. Being able to hit for 14k is pretty ridiculous. Rev really needs some balancing issues taken care of ASAP. If they were glassy this would be understandable but the fact that they can tank hits while still hitting that hard is pretty revolting.

How many are allowed in wvw per map before it gets queued?

There is a rank above commander in my guild that you earn not just by buying it but by actually showing that you know how to command.

Ranks are as follows
- Leader ( There is only one)

- Commander ( Owning a commander tag and a Commander who I know is able to command a massive group with strategy, knowing what they are doing 100% of the time)

- Wing Commander (Owning a Commander Tag)

- Squad Leader ( able to strategize well without owning a commander tag)

- Specialist ( effective and deadly player in WvW assuming all requirments below have been met)

- Private ( On WvW frequently and able to work with other members of the guild in WvW efficiently)

- Veteran ( On WvW frequently while reping the guild) gives access to bank withdrawl

- Recruit ( Where all my members start off)

- Ally ( We have members from pve guilds or other guilds that multi rep who come and help while wvwing)

Communication

We will be using the Sorrows Furnace Teamspeak server for our guild. In this server there are multiple guilds already implemented in it. Using this we are able to call for help and be called for help outside of our current borderlands with the push of a button. There are sub-channels within the Teamspeak server one for each guild/area/group etc.

- Organized team effort leads to our triumph in WvW especially when your fighting enemies 3X your server size.
- This will become very useful for the upcoming update for WvW leages.

If you want a decent sized group of well coordinated players who do wvwvw this is the guild for you, will be using ts3 (teamspeak) to coordinate with the rest of the guilds in Sorrows Furnace. This guild might just be for you. Only thing needed is represent while in wvwvw AND THATS IT! We’ll be using ts3 (teamspeak) in the future for better coordination with the majority of the other guilds in our server who already have ts3 set up.

There is a way to play this in a controller who ever said you couldn’t? But its prob more convenient to use your keyboard over your controller as Iv’e seen on youtube. With controller based movement is cool and all but it limits you to a certain degree which therefore isn’t the preferred way of playing. If you do want controller based game play by all means go for it just go to youtube type playing gw2 with controller or somewhere along those lines and you will see tons of videos with what your talking about.

I would say yes but changing the soul bound to account bound can stir up some tension with in gw2 community because of what people said, they spent gold on dyes therefore leading to a problem on switching to account bound. Good idea but already too late in the game to change this imo.

I just thought of an awesome idea that I know everyone else will love. Wouldn’t you like to have the ability to tell whether or not a tower/keep/camp has certain upgrades by simply going to map view? Well instead of having to run to a tower because no one is there you would easily be able to view the upgrade status and what it is that is upgraded by going to map view and scrolling over or pushing a command like ctrl + click or something like that in the area in your map.
I honestly hate when I want info on a place on upgrade status and no one is there, I get there to realize its already fully upgraded or not upgraded at all. This would be able to clear all those issues and make this game soooooo much better than it already is.

This is just an idea which could be further elaborated on which is where the people reading this come in. Let me know what you guys think of this. Good idea or bad idea?
