Guild Wars 2

Hi,

I have a question about the mysterious meat skill challenge. I picked up the meat. However nothing happened. No challenge activated or anything. If I click F [Interact] again it just repeats that the meat is mysterious and the only option left is to leave.

However, I don’t get the skill point.

Is this skill activated later? I’ve tried leaving the tunnel. I’ve killed all the flying creatures…I’ve left then circled back to it and re-entered the tunnels and killed everything again. Still…no matter what I do nothing seems to trigger any kind of challenge or whatever so that I can obtain this skill point.

Is there something I need to do or pick up or whatever to get this challenge to trigger so I can get the skill point?

I’m new to GW2. As of this post I’m a Lvl 14 Sylvari Ranger. Would like to find at least one other person in a guild whom might be able to join me for some quests for co-op play (especially ones I’m having a tough time finishing). I will return the favor (as much as I possibly can) of course. Very into co-op gameplay so I’m hoping this guild has a lot of members whom enjoy and prefer the same over soloing most everything.

I’m new to GW2 and have been hoping to find a guild to join. I’m mostly PvE…not much into PvP anymore these days. But I love doing co-op style pve gameplay with others. I’m online about 3-4 days a week between noon – 3pm CST (that’s -6 GMT for Euro).

Unfortunately I’m seldom available for evening or weekend play so a guild that has many members whom play when I’m also online would be ideal. I’d even consider joining a Euro guild if that makes a better fit for joining in a guild’s assorted group activities being run when I’m also available to play.

I missed the GW2 hype-train so I’ve been having to hunt around to learn how to play (also some trial-n-error stuff) so if you don’t mind a noob that might ask a lot of questions at first I’d be delighted to join. Big bonus points to any guild that might have members available to help me with some of the more difficult quests/events, etc. (read: I’ve died a LOT trying to complete them solo).

Any help offered is appreciated and I’d definitely return the favor.

I just purchased GW2 today and got all my items from the mail. However…I’m baffled as to where to look to find the Mistfire elite skill. I purposely bought the deluxe version just so I could get that pet.

I saw it in my email and clicked Take All. Everything ended up in my inventory except the Mistfire. Where do I look to find it?
