I admit being able to switch and customize your weapon moves sounds like a very cool idea for in the future, but right now it’s just not gonna happen. HOT will already deliver quite alot to the table content wise and keep in mind that specializations will change how the class plays as a whole anyway, you’re not forced to play with a new weapon if you dont want to.
we’l get new healing and elite skills from our specialization and I have no doubt this will give everything abit of a fresh feel to playing our proffesions again.

It is however something I would love to see in the future, for instance we’ve already got trait vendors, selling us new traits for gold and skillpoints some of wich have been great additions to those proffesions as a whole, it would be nice to perhaps learn some new combat stances and attacks as the game keeps evolving.

example: after having mastered all weapon 5 skills one could go to their trainer or even special npcs out in the world to learn new " weapon techniques" swordsmanship is an diverse art and everyone has a different approach to fighting with them, bows rifles and pistols could get new moves through “upgrading the ammo” with perhaps piercing bullets for power damage or condition based ones such as toxic or incendiary.

we’ve seen it done with skills, so. who knows?

Will old skills like racials and less used abillities get some sort of revamp? I’d love to able to use Battle roar and warband support or charrzooka more effectively, but at the moment their cooldowns are to long and most racial skills in general can’t compete with other skills when it comes to say: damage, overal use, or utillity. comparing things like Battle Standard and Signet of rage to rampage or artillery strike you can see what I mean.
Will we see new elite/healing skills based on skill types we already possess? for example shouts, wells, Consecrations etc?

Will guild halls have some slight customization options to choose from? decoration options? or maybe setting up barricades and traps perhaps?

One more for the record, “rampage” warrior Elite skill, needs to have some more fine tuning to its attack moves when in rampage mode.

Throw Boulder 1 12 Throw a large boulder at your foe.

It’s oke when used in PVE, but compared to Battle standard or Signet of Rage it’s a lackluster attack move in Rampage mode that can easily be dodged by opposing players. if the move could be changed i think adding another knockdown like the hammer adrenaline burst move or slowing a target down by using a shout or charge attack would add more pressure and power to the moveset as a whole.

Seismic Leap ¾ 15 Leap into the air and knock down foes where you land. It’s pretty good the way it is, but it needs a slight range buff I think. this move has an attack range of 600, increasing it to about 700/750/800 would actually make it viable to intercept ranged npcs/players then go in and “rampage” on them like mad.

Working on the expansion for gw2 I can completely understand that some things can’t be reworked entirely, But the examples i will leave down here below however wouldnt take alot of time to fix/patch/inplement.

for example I play a shouts build warrior, Charr in this case. yet my racial “Battle Cry” has a longer cooldown, (30 to 35 seconds). and grants 60 power/condition damage as opposed to the shout skill “For Great justice” wich has a cooldown of 20/25 seconds, and gives you and allies 90 power/condition damage. seriously, Why??

I understand that Battle cry can be used no matter wich class the Charr player picks but to the warrior its just useless, also when it comes to audio dialogue I like that Battle cry has atleast three to four different things to say instead of hearing the same thing over and over.

Improving the racial skills would be a great way to see them put to use more often, a shout elite skill would also be very helpfull, if possible.
(still talking about warriors in this context though)

Another racial skill that really needs its cooldown lowered is Warband support, 240 seconds is far to long for a summon that lasts 30 seconds in my opinion. same goes for the “Artillery Barrage” skill. it’s damage is terrible and the cooldown shouldn’t be that long, Warband support and Artillery Barrage share the same cooldown time with Battle standard (when not banner spece’d I presume) but both can’t compare to Battle standards uses and utillity.

recommendation for these skills would be something like this:

“Battlecry” 25 seconds, adding 90/100 power/condition damage.
(if shout specced lowered to about 20 perhaps?) I noticed that the skill also doesn’t apply healing even when using the “vigorous shouts” trait. perhaps that can also be changed?

Warband Support: 140/150 seconds, summoning two “Legion” npc’s for about 45/60 seconds? let me know if that’s too much when opposed to “thieves guild”.

“Shrapnel Mine” is a simple racial skill, its cooldown is low so no problems there except it’s very slow compared to other skills that Engineers might employ, I think increasing it’s AOE ring abit and making it respond faster to enemy presence might fix it. slight damage boost would also help to make it more usefull I think.

physical move: “Bull’s Charge” it’s cooldown seems very long, perhaps lowering it from 40 to 30/25?

Hey there. Im not really the forum type so this will be my first post ever.

unfortunately its gonna be a slightly negative one because I’ve experienced some really irritating and annoying issues with the game lately.

Il give a short sum up of what I mean:

1: Dungeon waypoints:
I really dont know what happend here since the latest patch/update but since awhile now people are unable to resurect when their party is either still in combat in a dungeon or limping about clining for their dear digital life…
I can understand that maybe there should be like a cooldown or timer on it so players wont be able to zerg a boss or something but its really ridiculous that we cant do anything when we get knocked out.

2: Dungeon AUTO KICK:
Whenever one of our fellow party members disides to either switch to another character, log out, or just get disconnected. the instance will most of the time kick out the remaining players that were either waiting for their fellow member to come back or get a new one to fill his/her spot.
Also, wich hardly needs mentioning….the instance resets completely!

3: Servers:
It may be because of the new
“hop on to the server with highest population or pay to get there” campaign that GW2 started but I really feel this should be atleast mentioned.
why is the population so incredibly divided and dispersed. some servers are filled with players while others have hardly anything happening or anyone to do anything with!?
Its fine that some people prefer their server over another but am I really supposed to pay just so I can enter a new playable server.
(And yes Im aware guesting is around before you mention it.)

isin’t there something like a server merge that could be done for some of the less populated ones to increase the numbers and activity?

Please let me know what you think on how the game could maybe fix these problems
if you agree with me then please post something with your own issues so this article can grow and be noticed.
and/or you disagree with me.
If you don like what I just wrote its your right to think/say so. but im not going to respond to insults or provocations.
I only posted this to make my issues heard so that they can be used as either advice or critisism.

Thanks for reading.
