Guild Wars 2

After right clicking and equipping the outfit, I immediately changed back to the original outfit I was wearing by going into the wardrobe section of the hero panel (I may or may not have had the hero panel open when I right clicked the Harbinger outfit previously). I noticed that the icon for the Harbinger outfit was not present, so I could not switch back to it if I wanted to. I went into the gem store and found that I had indeed unlocked it as evidence by the tooltip in the recently purchased list. I closed the Hero panel and reopened it and only then was the icon there for me to switch to it. Not a huge issue but it did freak me out at first considering it was worth quite a few gems.

Just a heads-up. The ribbon on the Dragon’s Jade Kris Skin is bugged. I didn’t see it in the topics anywhere else. If I missed it, I’m sorry.

So they should send out an obtrusive out of character mail ingame, or worse come up with some lore designed mail, each time they want to convey information, or else patch the game, when they can just announce it here. It’s not like Dev messages are obscure. It’s REAL easy to figure out which ones they are, cause it’s all splattered with red.

No, if someone won’t learn a certain way, then they don’t need to learn and they DO need to miss out. Too bad for them.

Not everyone reads the forums and Anet KNOWS this. Announcing it on a place they KNOW people don’t frequent and then people like you telling them “it’s your bad luck” is horrible. Thank goodness you don’t work for them.

Anet should put this stuff in as plain site as possible. Like on the launcher or in-game announcements, where they know people read things.

I think maybe your observations depend on what server you are on. I noticed certain servers are just full of active people and there is always something go on and others are quiet.

My largest concern is important information getting lost underneath all of the promotions. I could easily find what the Trading Post had on sale or what new patches would hold in the future but I didn’t see any warning about what was happening to the content right then, that day, until it was too late.

If they have time to sell me things, they have time to put important information on the launcher too.

On-topic, i’d strongly recommend the daggers for necros, especially if you’re going for a “Lovecraftian” or “Assassin of Grenth” theme. They’re just plain beautiful.

They make any other weapon look dull by comparison. To me, it’s worth playing Guild Wars 2 just to brandish those bad boys at a bunch of baddies.

Unfortunately the Gem Shop preview doesn’t show the effects when wielded. They look much better ‘in real’.
Anet, you might want to rework that preview in your own interest.

I was wondering why they didn’t look as good. If anyone has them in game, I’d love to see them. I am having a hard time finding screenshots.

No one did answer the question of how to get a pvp salvage kit without doing pvp. Nor was the question of how to turn them into dyes.

Personally, for people who play casually, going through days – maybe even weeks- to get a chest that is filled with pvp skins is frankly not worth it. It is cosmetic. Especially when those skins are account bound and many of them CAN’T be used on your class…Maybe transmute crystals instead if it had to be something cosmetic.
