Way below, under 30%, mainly from attacking with all the confusion.
I was wondering if anyone has been experiencing this as well. Confusion remains applied even no matter how many times I attack. The internal cd is 1 sec, I’ve have multiple encounters where Confusion is the only condi stack on me and wont be removed.
I don’t remember having this problem a few weeks ago, just recently.
This is a bad “fix”, if I knew I was going to be restricted from WvW I wouldn’t have transfered and paid gems to do so.
But you did know you would be restricted because the warning screen said so right before you transferred. Anet gave you a choice. You could have stayed on your present server for the duration of the tourney and then transferred afterward without any restrictions, or you could transfer during the tourney and accept the restrictions as stated on the transfer screen. You made the decision to transfer with those restrictions in place. I’m not sure why you are now upset with Anet over the choice you made.
Anet responded to feedback from last season and put these restrictions into place. If they had blocked all server transfers during the tourney, people would then be complaining about that. They gave people options instead:
1. Stay on your present server.
2. Transfer before the start of the tourney on March 28 without restrictions.
3. Transfer after the start of the tourney and be restricted from WvW for the current match and next match. If people are unhappy with the concept of the restrictions, they should provide that feedback to Anet. If they are concerned that they may be sidelined for longer than the “current match and next match” because of the restrictions kicking in just now, they should address that as well. But I don’t understand the complaints from people who accepted the restrictions when they chose to transfer and now are complaining because they can’t play WvW for a week or two.
It’s been said time and time again, the complaints are about the restriction just now being put into place instead of when Anet said they were going to be put into place. They did not do what they said they were going to do. I knew about the restrictions when I transferred, but they were not active at that time because many of my friends moved servers and were not locked out. This lead many people to believe the restrictions were not yet in place (which they weren’t). Because WvW was not locked out, I went ahead and made the transfer and participated in WvW for 5 straight days, influencing the WvW score. Anet then suddenly decides to implement the lockout 5 days after my transfer when I had GvGs scheduled and nights planned to play with friends. This is not what Anet stated they were going to do, period.
My frustration comes from the lockout not being implemented like we were told. I don’t have a problem with such a feature, but I do when it is not implemented as stated and is changed because of some sudden response from other players. They are not achieving their goal of preventing transfers from influencing WvW scores by activating the lock this late in the week. It would have been better to implement it at the upcoming reset to avoid the confusion of why we were suddenly locked out late in the week.

It’d be nice if Anet would wait until reset to fix their bug if this is what is happening. If the purpose of the lockout is to prevent newcomers from influencing their new server’s score, then this weeks lockout is not going to achieve that goal.
A group of friends and I made a transfer awhile back from NA to EU before the season began. Shortly after the season began, we decided to transfer back to NA and we knew about the lockout. Some made the transfer anyways as they did not care to be locked out as described in the announcement, but because they were able to join WvW anyways, the rest of us made the transfer thinking it didn’t apply to cross-region transfers.
We have been influencing our servers score for 5 days now and suddenly are locked out. We’ve managed to get some GvGs scheduled over the next few days but now we won’t be able to attend. I don’t see the sense in fixing the lock out bug 2 days before reset if the purpose is to keep new transfers from influencing WvW scores when we have been doing just that for the past 5 days.
Not only QL, Langor too….

Seeing players glitch into towers is one thing, but assuming they glitched because a door has full hp is not enough. Thieves will often wait out an attack on a tower, stealth in, remain until the zerg leaves, and wait out the timer on the keep lord. You’ll see them attacking the lord, but no glitch was involved and it is completely legal.

Nice try Umberglade Mafia.
Love, the Umberglade Police <3
The Police were victorious today, but beware, the Mafia is becoming more organized. Be cautious when you attack the family.
Btw, nice job making the Police. It’s creating some good fights!
Good roaming night last night. Enjoying the battles with the JQ and TC that don’t run! Props to [SG] for the multiple battles in TCBL! Also, to the ele at water camp in TCBL last night, why wouldn’t you die!!!

SMC defense the other night. We failed at the end. Here is the video:
You’re welcome BG!!!
Short video of EP fighting SoR at Mendon’s last night. Something other than drama on the forums!
I’m having the same problem. My dodge is middle mouse button, and my weapon swap is Shift + middle mouse button. When I swap weapons, I dodge and swap at the same time now.
Calling all guilds who want to fight, head to EB. [Agg], [DERP], [ART], [Ark], [VR], [PYRO], … where are you? Want to make your guild known in WvW? Prove yourself in EB right now.
Good time in Mag Bay just now. 3 Thieves vs 15+ Mag!!!
Can’t your photoshop skills be less obvious?
What is this “Photoshop” you speak of? I haven’t seen this skill in game, at least I don’t think it is a thief ability.
Edit: Here’s another! http://imgur.com/a9hxmGF Perhaps you can point it out on my bar?

Awesome, thanks for the quick reply smiley.
I noticed a different value in the mumble link identity. What used to be simply “character name” is now a JSON structure of name, profession, world id, team color id, map id, and commander. Was this a recent change or am I imagining things?
We had some fun slapping yaks at north camp in SoR last night. It was a nice change of pace to relax and just screw around for a bit. Nice try SoR, but your yaks are doomed!
[Edit] Does anyone else ever not pay attention to their music while playing and realize that it annoys you after watching the video? lol

I’ve got another update. The map can now be used as an overlay with the game. I’m trying to get it to be a seamless secondary map in the game. It can be shown using keybinds while playing the game. There is now a transparency setting as well.
here’s a quick preview. Sorry for the crappy video recording, I recorded it at work and my video card is about to go out.
Just a quick update. Here’s a few other things I’ve added and had a question on one.
Range Checker: Checks the range for certain siege weapons
Center on Player: Keeps the map centered on the player
Online Member list: Shows who is connected to the server and in a WvW map.
Is there a way to detect the elevation of certain points on the map? Or is all the tile information strictly 2D coordinates with tile images? Was wondering because I could improve my range indicators to take into account vertical distances.
Here you can see how the range on some siege would be misleading because for example, a treb shot can travel further if it is placed high above its target.

Now the only thing this does that might be bad is detect keys. Basically just a key bind on my application is fired when a key is pressed while any application is active.
Cool app!
We’re planning to publish a new 3rd party app policy, hopefully soon. The policy will be designed so you can self-evaluate your app to determine whether it is acceptable. The behavior you describe will not be against the rules of that policy.
Thank you for the reply. I love that the dev team is so supportive of community development. You guys rock!
I don’t get it, you can already see where your other party members are. you don’t need whatever it is your using to do that.
It tracks all people using the program across all maps. Not just party members.
Hello coders!
I have been working on my own WvW map, much like the others that have been posted here, but I’ve been doing a few other things that I have yet to see and I wanted to make sure I wasn’t breaking any rules with the Anet dev team.
Basically, instead of being a mobile version of a WvW map, mine is a local application. It shows Guild Member positions in real time along with control point timers.
Here’s a video of it in action with a friend.

Up to this point, I know everything is legal because I’m doing the same as everyone else, just reading the mumble mapping file.
But here I have added the ability to detect the range on certain things, such as portal. Now the only thing this does that might be bad is detect keys. Basically just a key bind on my application is fired when a key is pressed while any application is active.
Here’s an example of this in action. The range indicator for portal is laid when I press my portal keybind. The indicator shows up in the map and remains until I lay the exit portal. I run to the edge of the indicator, which is max range.

What is the dev team’s opinion on this? I don’t want to go any further if it will break the rules.
FaTe,
Extremely fun GvG the other night. You guys have extremely good coordination and organization. Those are the types of battles that make this game fun, and the type of people that I love playing against. Hats off to you guys, you will be a force to reckon with in the future.
TC leave my hills alone Q.Q, all my beautiful siege building and yak walking shall never be in vain
Haha, you finally got me! I like the touch of the build site on my corpse. Touche!
I recently started playing GW2 and have been in love with WvW from the beginning, however enemy nameplates seem to be a bit lacking, especially since the culling issue being resolved. Here is a simple idea which might improve nameplates.
The problem for me is that enemy nameplates are to big and clutter the screen up in large battles. Also, I feel as though they give away a players position entirely to easy from a distance. It seems a bit weird that a character can be hiding behind a huge cliff, but an enemy can easily spot me because my nameplate is visible around the edge of the cliff. IMO, it takes away from tactical positioning of not only single chars, but also zergs.
A change that would be nice to see is scaling of nameplates with character size. No matter where the character is at on the map, the nameplate will be at a scale equal to the character’s model. This way, you can stand behind a tower, wall, or hill and remain out of line of sight from an enemy that is far off.
Another change that might help with the clutter of nameplates in large battles is the option to change the nameplate to an icon rather than a string of text. All enemies of another server have the same text, <Servername Rank Guild>. It doesn’t really define the character any more than what server they are on, so why not give us the option to show a red icon above the character.
Attached are a few screens I created to show the difference and give a feel of what it could be like. The first is what it currently looks like, the second is a scaled nameplate, and the third is an icon.
