I don’t see why would you pick defender’s flame over strength in numbers, you won’t block nearly often enough to make that trait competitive, not to mention it’s a measly 1 second burn, on the other hand 150 aoe toughness is 150 aoe toughness.
If you’re going to run this build, get at least 2-3 people with you and you’ll be doing good. For solo the meds self sustain is far superior.

WHat heal skill is recoomended, shelter, or the signet…. each is sick, but the signet is 40 second cooldown
I am new to guard (2 weeks) my main class is Ele so I am still learning the small details of guardian.
I like this alot I run that trait setup currently with hoelbrak I do like your stat spread here alot though.

i see this build being used in WvW roaming. anyways pls critique and tell me what u think/ be free to modify and show me what could be better. ( should i use shouts? or meds?)( for heal skill signet or block?)
I would sub those cleric’s items with Knight’s if you want more toughness. I don’t see where you’re going to get a lot of help from healing. Maybe replace a couple of the smaller celestials with zerker if you want more power/attack.
Tough call for traits. I see you’re going for the shout/condition removal plus VoR for more. To get AH you’d need to sacrifice one of the two. I don’t know the math, but I prefer to mix meditations in for cleansing instead of using shouts. Since you’re looking for suggestions, I’ll give an example of what I generally would use.
Gear preference is optional. I put Knights in since you wanted enough toughness, but still a punch. The build has about 3k of both attack and armor, with decent crit chance/damage.
Traits and utilities are a bit different. You still have VoR for condition removal, but a couple meditations are added for that (both of which grant fury for 4s). Smite condition is on a rather short CD with a full condition cleanse w/ CoP. Stand your ground for stability, but really I wouldn’t use Save Yourselves. In a zerg you can get completely overwhelmed w/ conditions and it can burn your removals wasting a slot. You’ll get more fury uptime w/ meditations, you already have perma vigor w/ crits. The might is negligible, regen is supplemented with AH, protection can be gained through hammer, and swiftness through the staff. So the risk really outweighs the boons.
If you put 15 into radiance, VoJ is recharged on kill. With insipired virtues you’re giving 3 stacks of might on every kill (giving 3 stacks of might to 5 allies works great with AH). You can use the staff for tagging and spamming VoJ, with hammer/GS to deal damage. The protection you give with the hammer AA triggers AH, along with empower and SoS on the staff.
I like runes of the traveler for movement speed, but they’re pricey. Hope this inspires your build.

It’s a very nice build, and would work pretty great.
Here are some ideas though:
Use a sigil of battle instead of a sigil of energy. Your power is quite low, and the might this gives + might from combos will significantly boost your damage.Use boon duration runes instead of divinities. Extra protection, regen and might uptime is much stronger than the small stat increase you get. 2 traveler, 2 monk and 2 water
Dont use arcane blast, but armor of earth or mist form instead. They just have so much more impact, especially with 75 percent boon duration. 10 seconds of stability is amazing.
But again, a very good stat-spread in my opinion. Just needs some more power.
What are you looking to do in wvw? Zerging or roaming? Please include that in the post
EDIT: celestial is not that great on trinkets either. Consider making these cav/valk/zerk. Add an extra celestial armor piece if you want.

and i have more power/crit chance/ crit damage/ and toughness. whats the point in just copying your build… sure u have a little more health, but if u look the effective hp is the same. also i didnt use any infusions and i didnt use a signet to boost stats.

theres the build i have so far. is there anyway i can boost power and toughness, whithout too much sacrifice? also what do u guys think of hammer/GS, i like the hammer alot but i know GS can do alot more damage. any weapon combo suggestions? This is for WvW and im not that experienced, thatss why im coming to this forum. anyways thanks
What do u guys think of this build? I made it last night and im not sure or not whether its viable for WvW because my ele is my alt and i leveled it to lvl 77 by glory so i do not have a ton of experience. So i ask the experts of this forum what do u think of the build/armor-set/traits/UTILITY SKILLS (don’t really know whether these are good). Any optimizations to power with little sacrifice?
