Will we ever be able to acquire/buy the town costumes that the npc’s wear?

I’ve been wondering about this since the first day Guild Wars 2 came out, and I just need to know if I’m wasting my time waiting for them to come out. An solid official answer would be most appreciated… I’ve asked the GM’s in game a few times in the past as well, but they never responded.
This issue is not a core issue, but more of a quality of life issue.

yea, the type of items available on the gem store is pretty pathetic considering how long the games been out.

It looks like the “storm” precursor, except in staff form. It’s not on any weapon gallery screenshots Iv’e seen either. If anyone knows, it would be greatly appreciated!

Advertised as “mesmer armor” prior to release. I know I am not alone in this request.

More specifically the tune that the npcs hum/sing when you are on the airship. I think the melody was plagiarized, but it could have been sheer coincidence.

Ha, so very true. Its seems that anet just can’t seem rise to the challenge of finding an alternative for capes clipping charrs. Racial capes are a suitable alternative, but then anet always has a reason for the contrary…

The only reason i still log on to this game is because I anticipate the release of these townclothes. These costumes would suffice and even go beyond the legendary weaps for me. The HAVE to add it soon, it just doesnt make sense why anet doesnt at least put it on the gem store

After using a charged potion, my characters avatar got left behind while i was running around as an air elemental. The avatar was static and didnt move or anything, but basically after the potion wore off, it was still there. I thought it was hilarious

The light armor set for female shows skin in the weirdest place; the abdomen? Really? The set isn’t even that flattering enough to even warrant showing an abdomen, the legs may have worked tho. Unfortunately, there are a lot of light armor sets like this for females and personally, i think it looks cheap and rushed

The tassle is visible on one side, but invisible on the other. Please fix this, considering how hard it was to get the ticket

I got in fine, there weren’t any invisible walls from where i entered. All you need is an ele lightning warhammer and you’re set.

When i harvest, i can’t exit or run away during the animation duration. This is quite annoying. Fix this please

Sclerite karka back piece disappears after rtl

Ive noticed that when I zoom my camera out when there are a lot of other players around, the eyes (storm eye, flame eye, etc) disappear, and dont reappear when i zoom back in. The effect is very reminiscent of culling that takes place when there are too many characters on the screen.

They should be made available to us via gem store please. Most of the npc clothes look better than the existing costumes/skins anyway.

It looks terrible on the female. It feels too pacey compared to before, and it also makes the leggings/dress look ultra poofey and my character look big bottomed. /sigh

OMG yes, you dont know how much i’ve imagined a combo’ed hair like that (first post). They need to have a hairstyle that is simple yet elegant. Perfect and right on the spot.

I’m kinda curious if mermaids will ever be introduced into the game sometime in the far future? It would be quite awesome. I’ve seen some mermaid motifs around divinity’s reach, and considering how much water there is in the game, it would be pretty cool to have some, or even transformations :p. Shouldnt be too difficult considering they already have krait animation. One can dream though.

Screenshots 1 & 2- Show the armor zoomed out with an orange tint on the shoulder piece (bad)
Screenshots 3 & 4- Show the original desired color when zoomed in (good)

So my problem is specifically for the inquest cloth shoulder piece only. For the trimmings around the shoulder it gives off a deep orange color when zoomed out. It stands out especially when the armor is dyed a dark rich color. The lighter the color of the armor, the less the orange stands out.
My complaint is that when zoomed in, the armor trimming goes back to its desired color but does not have the same color when zoomed out. Doesnt matter what color i dye the trimmings, but it always comes out an orange tinted color. It would be nice if this color issue could be fixed

Consuming alcohol no longer gives the wavy screen effects anymore

When using “ride the lightning” to go through the asura gates that go between cities (ex: lions arch to hoelbrak, and etc) upon entering that city, i find that my attunement has switched back to fire.

Everything was fine until I entered kaineng borderlands, then I crashed. When i proceeded to login and play again, I keep getting the same error message. I’m not sure whats going on. The following attached is the message i keep getting everytime i try to play the game. :I

- When wearing the level 80 light armor headgear, my foreheard pokes out of the headband. This may be due to the fact that i made my forehead too big. However, if this issue is because of the armor sticking too close to the face and is fixable, that would be great.

Missing mark/hair after equipping the helm after the Halloween update, I am positive that the hair area should have color marking/hair before the update – attached a screenshot of my character (AAA1.jpg) and other screenshot I found on the web to see the comparison.

Yea, I noticed that too on my human female when she wears the winged hood. She had a hairline before; a small detail that I really liked about that piece of armor, which disappeared after the halloween patch =(. Now she looks like she’s wearing a hood cause she’s bald.

-the first two is with the hair line, and the last one is after the halloween patch
