If your going to use spirts then the best thing to do is to try to hide them from mobs or other people. Any time I use one in dungeons I ty to find a spot where I can hide it at. In any kind of pvp the best thing to do is to get in out as fast as possible and then be as far away as possible from it.
All those snipers can down someone who is not in heavy armor with one volley, and it’s hard to tell when they are going to fire. It was one of my most hated dungeons because it always seemed that they focused me first.
But yeah, the mobs in this dungeon are terrible. Not to mention the shotgun weilding, rapid firing, knockdown happy boss and the boss with the ice flame thrower which chills anyone in an area.
Path 1 and 2 should be easy with him, only path that I ever WP rushed was 3. Never doing that path again, I have flash backs to how bad that path is.
The char do come from a region that has lots of mountains which contain lots of ore. It would be the same for the norn if they were into mass mining.
I always assumed that magic either existed or that it came from the mists itself. My theory is that the dragons were exposed to large amounts of magic and mutated from what they were to what they are now.
So if the dragons are siphoning off magic from the world the only bad thing to happen would be that more creatures would mutate and that it would be in the best interests for the 5(or more) races to keep working together.
They really haven’t done all that many balance issues with the ranger yet besides a slight increase to the spirts which still suck, but not as much. Everything else has been fixing bugs and a mistakes they made.
The greatsword was a bug
Lick wounds was a big and can still be buggy
Signet of the Hunt was a mistake
Ranged weapon speed was a mistake
Pets(mistake) not hiting moving targets was a bug
This boss is easy compared to Alpha at the end of part 3. Last time I did it with a group most of us had ranged weapons and just ranged him from up top. Alpha was terrible, too much aoe/crystal and not enough room to move around in.
Not everyone can live forever, just look to the Walking Dead for examples. The only problem I have them people dying in this game is that it seems to be at the end of a quest that they die at. Never in the middle.
It seems from the few that have talked about that they just die. So far it seems that the only ghost are corrupted or have been made from the foefire. As far as the mists goes, who knows.
The sylvari are connected to the dream, but when they die that connection is severed. So thats why the pale tree knows what killed certain sylvari.
Was supposed to be released around christmas, but was pushed back to june. Something about the actual publishing was what pushed it back. Not sure if they changed/added something, problems with making the book, or shipping the book,.
Can no longer use spy kits and the like in WvW. Have had the same thing happen before when I have been fighting theives, they disappear for one second and reappear standing over your downed body. Just like kids.
It’s great to use after you use healing spring near any teammates. Also our stun break is great too, not only is it another dodge, but it does damage too.
It could be that they are dead and theyfore have no bodies to corrupt, but then why are there weapons in orr that float and attack you without having a body holding them.
Or it could be that the Foefire spell is stronger than the dragon corruption, what little time he spent flying over the land. It could be that he would require more time to corrupt the ghosts.
But even if the last part is true, would you really want to unleash another spell with the power of Foefire to destroy the dragons. I couldn’t imagine the level of destruction it would unleash.
I would say that all the boss battles in CoE are hard, even for good players that have the right gear. Path 2 has alot of aoe and path 3 sucks all around. Even with the best party I’ve ever had people were dying 2-3 in the last fight on path 3.
While the invasion of orr was a success, it seemed to easy to kill zhaitan. Even if they made the last story that way so it would be easier for a group, it still seemed too easy. Last time the dragons woke it took all the power of 5 ancient races to put them asleep. While they didn’t have the kind of tech back then that they had today, I’m guessing that they had superior magical powers.
Now while the pact forces did weaken zhaitan, from killing mouths and eyes in your story/ dungeon and other pact forces doing their jobs. I’m guessing that if zhaitan isn’t dead, then he just went back to sleep only to awake later when other dragons are causing problems.
Since I was a male silvari it seemed to hit alot more for me than other people, only because I felt like that she had feelings for my character. The characters I enjoyed the most during my story was Caithe, Sieran the most, and then the 2 asura that joined me to take over the undead ships.
While at times they may be annoying, a-net did a good job with the mentors because players are able to connect with them in different ways.
I also believe that she could have held up against the undead just as much as the other 2 could have. She was powerful and would have survived until the dragon fought her or massive amounts of undead attacked.
Bear-Pig-Man
Or Evil Frosty
I’m usually tring to run it every night that I’m on. The problem is that after one run most of the group isn’t interested in doing a different path. Subject alpha is such a pain in the kitten with his chain spamming of aoes and crystals. I believe that it would be a much smoother run if the crystal that encases you and the tentacles had less health.
After you are encased in crystal your group only has a couple of seconds to break you out before alpha focuses on you. Then it’s an even worse idea to try to heal someone out of the downed state, which is why there are the undead tentacles everywhere. But unless the tentacles are already damaged you have no hope of killing one yourself while in the downed state.
Warhammer Online:
1. Releasing the Blackguard and Knight of the Blazing Sun without having their opposites buffed to match.
2.Buffing certain classes without buffing their opposites.
But most major one 3. Level 90 and 100 gear. When it was first introduced it blew away even level 80 gear. Even after the much needed nerf it was still too powerfull for under level 80 gear.
Some mobs just have a better a.i. than others, like risen for example. I know that anytime I go to attack a risen mob I know that my pet will have the mob’s attention for 3-5 seconds before they all turn and attack me.
Best bet is to allow your pet more time to attack to gain more agro before you move into the mobs agro range.
TA was only about Faolain trying to recruit Caithe to the nightmare. Next time it will be where she is planning to destroy the tablet.
But you won’t kill her there either, she will vanish and comback again later.
Quaggans have defensive magic that can outclass any guardian.
