I completely agree. How ridiculous!

I’ve just managed to complete this through sheer perseverance. The event was showing as 3/3 brood killed but with the main shark on full health and no where to be seen. On exiting the underwater cave and standing outside I was able to target the shark (just) but of course got ‘obstructed’ if I used a ranged attack. I then went back into the cave and swam back and forth ramming my character into the ceiling/wall spamming melee attack until I finally struck lucky and hit the thing drawing it back into it’s ‘proper’ location. Phew. What a lot of effort for one little skill point!!

This was on the Whiteside Ridge (EU) server and the shark is now where it’s supposed to be if anyone wants to go trigger the challenge to get their skill point.

After hearing that backdated rewards were finally filtering through I logged on feeling hopeful. I was one of the ones that played the whole event and got disconnected right at the end. But alas, no loot in my mailbox (which is empty).

I shall sit here with my fingers and toes crossed in the hope it comes through soon

Just adding my voice to everyone else. Same issue… game decided to hang on the loading screen when I tried to return to a waypoint as I died. By the time I got back on the chest had gone. Feeling extremely frustrated as like most people I took part in this event from the start. I really think they should offer some kind of compensation reward to those of us who had issues because all it’s done is made me want to avoid future events rather than risking wasting my time again!
