What about the PvE players? I like the Hammer/Axe&shield with zerker gear in PvE, now im back to the kittening boring GS i guess. Ye, they dont give a kitten. Only 2 viable wep at pve, even less in pvp after dec5. Nice changes anet, keep it up…

Please, dont blame me for my poor english, i never studdied it, everything i know is (mostly) by playing Guild Wars 1.

I have a few ideas for general PvE gameplay/progression;

The first thing that comes to mind when someone ask me about Guild Wars 2, because its one of the best things i have ever seen in MMORPG games.

Dynamic Events

We have plenty of them, yes, but people usually only do them while leveling or farming.
My suggestion would be the following: Connect them to achievements, for example, Gather at least 15 ruined grapes for Winemaker Victoria
Remove at least 40 conditions while fighting Jormag, kill 25 Centaurs at X event without taking any damage or kill X world boss without anyone getting downed.

The reason behind this is simple; theres a lot of places where we never go, we dont care much about events. And to be honest, we dont care much about each others, usually in mmorpg games i meet people, well, in GW2 i meet another character whos running around in circles and killing stuffs as fast as he can like a bot.
Some ahchievements would require some teamplay, not just brainless zerg. (no, not like jormag, thats way too hard for randoms)
Also, we might go to places where we never do after 100% completion.

Make them repeatable every few months, expand the achievement reward system, finish the skin sets, and for completing every dynamic event achievements, give ascender or legendary as a reward (account bound on acquire), were heroes.
Remember? you dont make grindy games, we want to have fun while being rewarded simply by playing the game. Give us more skins obtainable by completing specific achievements/reaching x amount of points.
It would make us (me, atleast) feel like were progressing without the need of adding another tier.
Yes, some people would rush and finish them as fast as they can, its their choice, theyre grinders no matter what you do, they exist.
Just give us something to work/play for; fun and progression
I think thats all for now, its just an idea.

Another thing i often see is the “berserker gear>everything else”

Separate PvE and PvP/WvW like you did in Guild Wars 1 and nerf dodge. PvE is a faceroll right now.

As a guardian, i hate it. Id like to be useful while using mace/shield with tanky gear and traits, but im not. People always say that guardian is a support class.
Nope, it makes others even more overpowered in pve. Give guardian a new mechanic in PvE; for example, While in group, give 15% of guardian’s toughness or armor to teammates. If more then one guards, highest one chosen
Make healing power scale better with trait.
Would make sense to pick a tanky guardian. Shield is useless right now, how often do you see a guardian with shield?

It would make PvE a little more challenging.

A few other thing;

Mounts, please. Something to collect, usable only outside. FPS is already low in LA.
Better rewards for Jumping puzzles. Seriously, its a hidden, secret chest with full of trash.
More titles in PvE, see ^Dynamic Events. Also bring back Survivor.
Underworld and FoW, yes, most of us wants them back.(hopefully its already on the table)
Skins, a lot of skins. Maybe Design-A-Weapon Contests.
Specific loot for specific monsters.

I could go on…

Nope i dont feel myself attached to it, mostly coz the achievements r account bound. I was tryin out alts and accidentally did smth i wanted to achieve on my main. Now its all gone cause i cant even reset the achievements.

I guess its because light/medium armors are “so cute”

My GF plays a guardian and played DK in wow.

Dunno, they look the same to me. the only difference is your graphics, thats what makes them look so bad imo.

Just delete the trial accounts please, just do it. I want to use my name. Cant remember email/pw and support doesnt give a kitten . I dont get why do they keep them for more than 6 months

i want every single armor in the game (even those npc only armors and armors from gw1) to be available to EVERY class/race

worked in gw1, why wouldnt it work here? i would actually play pvp if it would be rewarding, now i only do wvw because of bagrains. i wont play the tp and theres no other ways to get money effectively /antifarm code/nerfs everywhere/few rares a day by doing world bosses with 2 chars, yep, i want to be able to get my twilight this year,

or let us get our laurels back for it or exchange it to another ascended. they nerf every now and then making builds/gears worthless

look, my english isnt good enough cause i never studdied it but ill try to explain my personal experience without any fancy tech stuffs.

i have two Pcs, one with a phenom x4 965 (4 cores), hd 5770 and 4gb ram < runs at 30-70fpsin pve, 15-20 in boss fights and wvw zergs, everything is maxed with medium shadows and native sampling. at 1600*1200

the other one is a really poor intel e6600 (weak 2core) and a terrible hd 3650 with 2gb ram. run ok around 25-35 fps on low-med settings at 1280*1024 but drops to 5 fps if alot of ppl around.,

i swapped the hd 3650 to the hd 5770 and nothing changed, the only one thing is that i could play at higher resolution and could turn on some effects like shader and post processing on high, was the same in crowded areas. so yea, id still say pick a powerful processor. your vga is alot better than the hd 3650.

and yes i know some would say both of my pcs r crap…

Ye, but depends on your connection, when i bought the game i could download it in 2 hours with an 50/20 connection and didnt installeded anything from the disc

the only thing ull lose is graphics settings but only if you delete the local.dat file from XXX\documents\guildwars2

no lag for me since around june 25, had terrible lags before

id say buy a powerful cpu/mobo and save up for a beast vga, ull be fine with that card playin GW2 also 2gb is enough for gw2 if ure fine with longer loading times and some texture popups, if you want to improve gw2 performance def get a better cpu

u can own anything with GS #1 till 80 so pick what makes u happy…

i prefer signet build till 40 then sig of might, fury, rage and fgj… at 80 i swap out sig of fury for banner of disc and sig of might for shake it off for group play

I have a hd5770 with 13.4. I have no problem at all. Maybe the folder where GW2 saves the settings is read only?

You can also try removing the CCC/AMD vision engine center or just reset the settings on the gaming tab and see if it helps.

i have a hd 5770 which is the same as the 6770 paired with a x4 965 stock speed. i can run the game on high-ultra at 1600×1200 with a stable 50+ fps in pve. Zerg and world boss is a different story… there i get like 12 fps.

Im from hungary with a 50/20 connection and i get the same skill delays and lag spikes. I did several pingtests to frankfurt and even miami. never got above 170ms. btw when i try to ping one of the game servers (the ip i get ingame when i type /ip) i get 100% packet loss.

Agree with the above poster. New mouse solved the problem. I just bought the cheapest mouse in the market and the problem is gone

Its time to clean the dust out or just send him ur local.dat with the lowest settings possible. It wont make any difference anyway. Just clean it out.

Can happen anytime. 1-2 sec skilldelays and 3+ sec spikes. Unplayable. Started it 1-2 weeks ago. Nothing changed in my config. Same problem on both of my computerrs.

I have the same problem! Nothing is wrong with my isp – i have pinged severeal countries and never had more than 200ms, even frankfurt gives me 12ms according to pingtest.net.

i also play wow and i have no lag at all. i can run the game with constant 50fps outside of zergs.
