Game the market.
There isn’t any diminishing returns on lewt from the TPost like killing stuff :P
I recently made an alt and challenged it to be independent from my other 80s. Was level 10, took 10 silver I had and had over 2g a few hours later—which is a lot for that level. Not so impressive as an 80, but you’ll have more money to deal with then. Just took some understanding of TP commissions to ensure you dont risk paying more than you bought it for. Once you have more money, you can take larger risks (diversify yourself) and gain a lot faster.

Tag a mob, (or a few). Run away, to the other side of the zone. Event Ends. You get credit =)
Sometimes I do this during escort quests -_- Feel bad about it at times, but… eh..when there are 10 other people following the slow-as-molasses Bull cross country, trying to fight others AOEing mobs to death nearly instantly, it’s hard to even get loot credit. I’m usually on my mesmer.. so aoe is annoying.
There appears not to be any range on event completion currently.
Any of the buff sigils only take the first application one.
For instance, if you have a +Condition buff one on already, the +Power one will not be used. If you have 2 of these on weapons, I’m pretty sure it takes your mainhand first and applies its effect, leaving your offhand unable to apply it.
Luck counts as one of these buffs as well, as does the Precision one. You’re stuck with only just one of these.
Fortunately, you can remove the weapon and still keep the stacks, or keep it on your swap-weapon. Stacks wont fall off u ntil you use a WP, zone, or die.
10% Chance on a crit (which is 50% for you) is basically 5% chance to heal yourself…for not a whole lot.
Bloodlust on the other hand, is vastly more useful as long as you do not use a WP, Die, or Zone (You lose your stacks, and have to rebuild if so).
Also, Power is vastly more useful per-point at lower levels, than it is high levels. +125 Power at low levels is a lot
7 Elementalist (Shelved)
80 Guardian (44% Map; Whispers)
80 Thief (46% Map; Vigil)
80 Mesmer (68% Map, heading toward 100; Priory)
…in that order
What was amazing about GW1 to me was the huge assortment of skills. You’re not cookie cuttered into having useless skills on a bar because you need a certain weapon type.
Sure, it creates meta builds…but, trying out new builds was vastly more fun in GW1; having to go capture skills you needed. Some people hated the capturing, but it was rewarding for me
