It happens to me on any map really. Random crashes.
All drivers are up to date, I ran client repair, and Ive lowered settings (despite having a pretty good comp). Nothing helps.
also to add
They need to change event credit. If youve put in effort onto a map/event then even if you DC it should store your ID and let you back in/GIVE you credit for doing the event if the event finishes before you can get back in and/or if you get put on another map.

This is seriously making me not want to play. Random crashes, logging back in losing all my map progress and my place in a good map that was making good progress.
So I’ve crashed during quite a few world events and just in general. I’ve tried dropping my settings to low but to no avail.
My comp specs are:
Intel i7 4.0Gzh CPU
12gb DDR3 RAM
Nvidia GTX 970 4gb

OK I kinda fixed this. If I stretch the window out first before tapping it to the top of the screen then it will maximize like it did before. I didn’t have to do this before however.
I do have an issue now of the game crashing which doesnt make sense since I have a pretty good computer. (4gzh i7 cpu, 4gb gtx970, 12gb ddr3 ram)
Issue with maximizing the game window
I’ve played GW2 in windowed mode since launch. In windowed mode I would tap the game window up to maximize the window to fit my screen while still letting me see my toolbar. Since a couple of weeks ago, this has stopped working. Now when I do this there is a gap on the right and bottom of the screen (see attached file).
I’m running Win 7 and yes my drivers are up to date.
I know some people who read this will want to say “Just play in windowed fullscreen” but that’s not an answer to my issue nor do I want to play in windowed fullscreen.
I was wondering if it were possible for someone who has died to come back from the mists somehow. Not as a ghost but flesh and blood.
Hey, Ive been having this issue for some time now but its been getting worse.
Back during launch I noticed that sometimes while in the Black Citadel I would hit a sort of graphical lag spike and all audio currently playing on my computer would come out as choppy, slow, and distorted. The only fix for this would be to restart GW2. It didn’t happen 100%, it would only happen in the Black Citadel (near the Asura gate), and it wasn’t that much of a hindrance to fix so I just passed it off.
As of lately though this audio glitch has been getting worse, it happens at random now (normally after a map change) and if I don’t close down GW2 all audio on my computer goes silent. If the sound cuts out slowly other programs on my computer will start acting up. If I was in a skype call I am unable to end the call or open new windows, I cant close tabs in my web browser and shutting down GW2 doesn’t fix the issue. I have to restart completely to get sound back.
Does anyone else have an issue like this? Is there any fix?
I would instantly pre-order if Cantha was the next expansion… The place looks amazing and the lore is awesome itself…
Pleaaasse Arenanet give us Cantha
Same here. Love GW2 and Cantha from GW1 and would love to see more.
NC Soft, don’t scrap this part of the GW universe.
