Although the Clock Tower really sucked to do IMO. I LOVE the event. I love Halloween and everything to do with it. Coming from a veteran GW1 player, this event beats those hands down. The flaming book looks awesome and I love you made it transmutable. Thanks so much for all your hard work guys!!!! Keep it up! <3

My husband cleared it for himself, then for me… no way I was going to finish it. He had to do my toon twice, because the first time it gave me the achievement, but he was unable to loot the chest. I’m glad he did it (took 7 hours), but I still hold that is ridiculously difficult. If it were a permanent part of the game, I would understand. But to make it only available for an event is silly. So it’s done and good riddance!!!!

Just did the same thing for me… after a zillion hours trying to finish it!

Just finished the quest. The first time we got stuck at the same place. Second time (with my hubby initiating the quest) we ignored the 2nd team and cleared the cave as advised. After we came back and helped the 2nd team with the abomination, 2 sets of really buggy (pun intended) grubs spawned. I thought “Oh man, they are doing the robot… we are going to glitch again.” I ran up to them thinking if my husband stayed back the team wouldn’t glitch. But the whole team came racing up behind me to fight. After that, we just inched down the cave step by step, inch by inch. I kept turning around to look and they would periodically get stuck but them move again. We got to the end of the cave and the cutscenes continued.

I have read the majority of the posts on here with suggestions, tips, do this, don’t do that and I really think it comes down to the luck of the draw. Sorry to you all that keep glitching I hope this gets fixed so you can move on.

There have already been several posts started on this. I don’t think it has anything to do with which quest, as my husband and I got stuck on the level 48 quest. I even logged into one of my lvl 80’s to try and help and it wouldn’t let us do that either. I’m not sure whether it is because of the order, it seems like most posts I have read have been Priory quests, as is ours. We are currently at Battle of Claw Island which is terribly difficult to do solo (tried it) it makes us just not want to complete the storyline…

Hubby and I are having the same issue. We are trying to get into The Battle for Claw Island and it won’t let either one of us join each other. I even logged onto one of my lvl 80’s that already completed the quest and it still didn’t even give me the option to join. We have broke pt, reformed, relogged, etc… anyone else having this issue?
