It has been addressed already. They recognized there was some flaws in matchmaking and they would change some things during s6.
Evan, I think you said our rating would reflect our skill around ~200 games ( If it’s wrong tell me ). Do you know when the majority of the population reached that threshold ? I mean, in a perfect world, everyone would place themselves in the first quarter of the season then enjoy the game at their level of skill for the rest of the season.
There are changes to matchmaking coming for off-season. I’ve updated the wiki with the changes.

Forgive me, but I didn’t specify what I fully meant.. I was a little upset when writing that, after 5 matchs in a row of people stating they gave up already because they’re just there for gear anyways…
What I meant was, people are upset about not being able to queue up as a 5 man. This seems silly to me.. That in competitive ranked play, I can’t guild group up.. Yet, When we do wanna team up, it kittenes off everyone in unranked, and they yell at us. I don’t really feel great about doing our pvp missions in unranked either and making new people suffer… Please guys.. You’re supposed to be the hardcore pvp devs.. you consider yourself competitive players..It’s why I’ve played this game since beta.. How can this junk sit well with you?

I’ve been posting about this a bit on forums.. never have used forums much before this season… just gonna copy and paste a point from another tag of mine :P hahah
the voting on things is sorta ridiculous to a point…I wanna say a majority of the community doesn’t get online to vote on a Poll. There is such a thing as listening too much to people on forums. I almost guarantee it’s a small percentage of players(mostly who complain) who get on here to do anything. Like I am right now. Before this pvp issue, I never got on forums. I love GW2, and trust the Devs except for this now… A “Ranked” system should promote skill and teamwork. Not solo/duos. Again, it’s mainhly because of the gear now in Ranked. So many people who don’t give a cr@p about winning are in it just for gear.. Has made this season awful for pugs!!!! AT least incorp the ascended armor into unranked also, because this is annoying! Please and thanks!
Again. this is a team based fight. Yet I can’t group up with guildies?? Gj wasting all that time on guild team set ups.. Please bring back!

again.. this is great and all… do you plan on addressing team queue? Duo system is frustrating.. I’ve put posts up about this, as well as others. yet zero feedback. Please address. Ranked community is real bad atm… Sick of hearing people flat out state I’m just hear for gear anyways… let me Q in “Ranked” with a “Team” please.. I mean for the love of the spirits! you guys just put in guild teams. Got my guild among others pumped about pvp again. Then poof! No more guild teams for ranked. SERIOUSLY?

Any plans to ever put Moa racing back into LA? Was fun/silly. Also, I’m a fan of gambling mechanics in general. I’m sure you guys wouldn’t mind the gold sink :P The house always wins. haha
This is a good improvement.. However, what about more than a duo queue? I think I can speak for a lot of PvPrs who have pvp’d for a long time. Myself since beta, that we miss Q’n up with a group of guildies.. Ranked should be about skill not luck. Yet, to group and coordinate with my guildies, we’re now forced into unranked.. Guess what? People in unranked get really upset at us for being a premade in unranked.. Yet.. where else are we supposed to go? As it is now, my guildies and I can go dominate a few matches with zero competition in unanked, or we can duo at the most.. and get stuck with people who quit in a close match because “I’m only hear for the gear anyways”…. This is a joke.. Ranked should be about skilled players. not people after easy backpacks and ascended armor. Incorp these items in unranked, or allow teams to Q in ranked… being stuck in 2-3 outa 5 matches with someone who doens’t give a crap about winning, is getting kitten old, real quick. Thanks!
In order to ensure the league leaderboard maintains a display of healthy competition, we will be enabling a new minimum games requirement. Players who do not have the minimum number of games required to stay on the leaderboard will be removed each time decay is calculated.
The current season is more than half complete, so the games threshold will be set to a lower value than what we expect future seasons to use. The current minimum is 40 games. Future seasons will ramp up the minimum game requirement over the length of the season and a UI component will display this value.
We are excited to see how fierce the competition gets as the season comes to close. See you in The Mists!

I’m sorry, this is my first time posting something so negative about ranked PvP..
I have played since Beta, have invested a lot of time and effort into this game…
So I will say.. The PvP community is bigger than it has been since launch..
However, it’s also the worst I’ve ever seen. With the introduction of Ascended Armor, and Legendary backpack prior.. I see a TON of people in there who quit after 1st push. They earned their points for the match and give up. Why? Because they are just there for pve gear.. This is going to happen I know. I report them for idle etc.. Yet, do I really have to deal with this 2 outa 5 matches at the least?? With only being able to Duo Queue up, all I keep getting is at least 1 pug with this BS.. Please put regular matchmaking back. This is complete crap that I can’t guild group in pvp with even a 3rd. Also, this effects missions.. I’ve had people yell at my guild. Legit getting kittened off anytime we do a 5 man in Unranked. Is this really the state of the game? True competative teams having to join unranked just to group up, then everyone in unranked crying about it because we have no other choice?? It’s not even fun. This was a bug with the Signet of the Wild. When Signet of the Wild was activated via skill, or trait. It would end your Celestial Avatar. So, in the last patch they “fixed that” but broke it in general. I haven;t used Signet of Wild in forever, so I never experienced this. I use a variation of the “Shout bow” build. Now I have this issue. Reported on this earlier.. Would really love it addressed/fixed asap. I miss my Druid a lot.. It just randomly drops. It’s an inconsistent bug. Sometimes it won’t happen for awhile. Then bam! Super random kicks outa Avatar ftl! my build is unplayable..
i never had this bug before. didn’t use signet of the wild.. i use shoutbow. now i have this issue.. my CA randomly drops.. not consistent at all. Super random. sometimes a whole match it won’t happen. sometimes it’s every other avatar form, sometimes everytime; etc.
Please fix! My druid is basically unplayable from this. messes with my build a lot.
After putting in the request and thanks to Joel Helmich’s masterful sleuthing into ancient systems and programming magic our Ranger Pets will now retain their customized names between sessions across all your pets. No more sticking to a single pet to keep their names between logins!

why don’t i see any dev’s talking about this? this is a pretty serious issue for Druids.. I never used signet of the wild.. they fixed that and broke CA fully..
I’m having this same issue in pvp, pve, and wvw. my avatar form just drops randomly.. It’s insanely frustrating! Been happening since patch. using Shoutbow build.. When they changed the Signet of the Wild, did they break another ability to knock you out of it? My theory is that when they change Protective Ward, they made it buggy like what was going on in Signet of the WIld proc. Just a guess. Please fix, and thanks!

Do you guys plan on addressing this lag? been going on for a real long time now. My guildies and I can barely play, and it’s not just in WvW. Massive spikes in pvp as well.. I see a few people posting that it’s mainly their Australian guildies having issues. but that’s not the case with us. Most of my guildies and I are east coast US or Canada, and having massive unplayable spikes.. I know it’s in the works.. but all holiday weekend ftl.. What are us lonely sad single nerds supposed to do! I’ve already seen deadpool 2×.. I need my GW2! haha.
My best friend has finally been able to buy GW2.. Sadly My home server since launch, Blackgate, is always full. So I’m going to have to transfer to another server. We’re both large scale pvp fans, and prefer good sized skirmish all the way to rolling with a zerg. Some variation is nice. Anyways, I need to figure out a new home! Some people are telling me to try SoS, some say Shiverpeaks… i don’t know! Any advice?

I have had this issue for a week now. I can search stuff, if i use filters, and can also buy things on trading post. However, I can not type anything into search.. at all. Super frustrating to spend a ton of time searching through everything, for one specific item. I have tried the usual quick fixs, log out to patcher, etc. Nothing has worked. I really just wanna be able to use this properly again. Please address. Thanks.
