OK, honestly not sure why my thread was locked and why I was told to go here where people are upset about their town clothes???

Being a WvW person, I don’t do much PvE unless it has something I want to work for, which is a skin in this case. So having done dungeons (CoF and and AC for Monk) to get the items I want and to have them disappear with an update, is making me a bit irate.

I don’t care to share them on my other characters, I just want them back on my guardian and wanted to know if others had the same issue, so we can figure it out if it’s a lot or just a few of us and if I should make a bug report or get help another way.

I see one other person having the same issue I am on this thread and that’s it. I’ve logged in and out, logged all toons on and yet my guardian still has blue, level 31 shoulders that I did not equip.

I believe I transmuted them, but I did that with all of my dungeon gear. Her Arah armor is still there and I can see it on the warrior. Maybe this is just simply a matter of a ticket?

I logged onto my guardian and my exotic CoF shoulders have disappeared and is showing level 31 shoulders instead? I couldn’t see them on my warrior’s wardrobe either…has anyone else run into this yet?

this post was meant to be smart kitten post and it got a bit out of hand. HoD is a great server, we are pretty drama free, have some trolls that that go a little apekitten overboard at times, (No, VLK is not a roleplaying guild full of Filopinos/cry) and we like to have fun while getting some work done. Wow woke up this morning to see my guild got trolled on in the forums. Well guess I can’t back out now…so if I’m on(finals week at school) I’ll hang out in the sanctum. You do realize there’s any easy fix to this right? Bring your tanks and your veterans, hell we can even give you a day or two to get ready. And really I don’t think it’s a matter of letting their heads get big…if you bark, you better bite too.

While it’s a known fact I <3 ET, I’m pulling for my old server Darkhaven to take 2nd. Proud of you guys for getting your kitten together after all those guilds bailing and look at you now.

It was 52 golems, I would know I was there building them with my guild lol, and yes it was completely worth it. I had a blast.

Very nice, that’s the whole point of the game anyhow, fun! Although you are missing out on um, geometry….you didn’t put your golems in any uh…shapes….like my guild/server. There’s a greatsword that can be used as a guide.

I do agree with this; when I first started doing fractals it was without AR up to level 19. The person I was with threw me in at level 10 and eventually I got good at surviving but after 20, AR is needed or you’ll be scraped off the ground more….but still doable if you’re used to being without AR and good with timing.

Every time I see this “You don’t need AR up to XX level” I am thinking that what they actually mean is “You don’t need AR up to level XX, as long as everyone else in your party has AR”

It’s not really that, more “You don’t need AR up to level XX, as long as you know the fights and what to dodge”.
Going to 19 without AR is fine, even with 0 AR you should be able to survive the agony.
20-29 is a bit trickier. Going with 0 AR at those levels can be done, but you’d need to know the fights well to know exactly when to dodge. So it’s ok for fractal veterans, not beginners, as the difficulty will become much harder.

It must be possible to have a server crush, as I love ET and squee like a schoolgirl when we play each other as I know we are in for good fights. Roaming was a bit futile, but the fights we did find, minus any side’s zergs, were a blast. (Same for you DR roamers)

We ran screaming from HoD, ET and DR zergs a few times tonight and it looked to even from my squad perspective, but I’m all googley-eyed right now and my head was sat on by a few zergs, so I may be off. I did notice quite a few guild names I’ve never seen, so it looks like we will once again be molested by PvEers in WvW, my apologies in advance for our side, they are exuberant about carrots.

On that note, I will share my bacon with you and here’s to a good week.

I don’t see anyone gloating on this particular thread and most of Bronze league has fought each other for ages. We’ve all cheered each other on each has recovered from whatever tanked them in the first place and sent them to T8. I’m sure you’ll find the class you’re looking for if you stop focusing on the trolls.

Why don’t you go back over to the NSP thread and heart them more. I’m sorry your server fell right before leagues started up, but HoD doesn’t belong in Silver just yet and it’s not due to the lack of “balls” you are referring to. Had Kaineng not fallen so hard and fast, most likely NSP would be here with us and the top of Bronze.

HoD has worked its kitten off to move up and to recover from guilds leaving and server drama (sound familiar? you’re going to have to do the same right now) Yet you and a few others think that there’s something faulty about not going face first into Silver where we would put up a good fight at first, but due to sheer numbers and lack of coverage, we would eat kitten. All that hard work down the drain because someone needed to get bent over and placed in Silver and you’ve picked us.

Worry about your own kitten server and be kitten ed at Anet for placing us in these positions and inviting pvers gone wild into our world with carrots dangling everywhere. Now thanks to them and the fair weathers, we look more massive than we really are. You can bet your kitten if we were in Silver, those people would not step inside our world, but it’s not HoDs core WvW community that is to blame for their behavior.

The roaming fights have been a blast this week on SF bl with both servers…I’ve laughed my kitten off though fleeing alongside other SF fighters as 30 Yaks separate from the herd to go after us and we compete to not be the slowest one that gets mowed down. >.<

So…there are times I play moose medic and run around the field in all my antlered glory rezzing people then charging into the zerg to spice things up…shall I start to worry that people will start squealing about moose abuse? I also fight nekkid a lot…is that mammary abuse?

According to some people on these forums, there’s only ONE right way to play and everyone else is an kitten for playing the way they want. They look down their noses at anyone else who plays differently, but as a ruminant (ie, bull, moose, dolyak and so on) a quarter of the time on the field, my nose will always be longer than yours unless you join in my shenanigans, ease up on the sphincter a bit and quit being all uptight and self righteous. It’s a game folks – a game where some like to take objectives, some like to kill some like do all of the above and be silly doing it.

And screw pie, the answer for everything is bacon!!

Besides, I was just going with the flow – I don’t see why the HoD guy was suggesting to ET to stop attacking HoD. That’s like saying let’s both attack FC and then we will get all that we want – HoD stays in 1st place, ET gets second.

I really like how ET plays – they just fight, protect their own and don’t care whom are they fighting – they just do their best, and sometimes they do it darn well. It is pretty much what FC did when we were dead last.

He was referring to points is all We say the same thing when HoD attacks ET stuffs instead of FC stuffs as we want to be green and move back up to T7 at some point.

However, still having fun fighting and not knowing who won’t show up for the week to make it a nail-biter, so really I don’t care. Can’t say I’d be sad to see ET take green for a week, would be good for your server morale.

We should do an epic upscale fight before reset for a little fun! I already took my guard from 2 to 15, so maybe put a cap of 20 on how big you can be.

I have to warn you though, I’m so scary I get focused immediately, so all the baby HoD, FC and ET save yourselves as I spastic spam to my demise if we get attacked by level 80s.

To all HoD players: you deserve losing terribly to Ferguson’s Crossing right now. While you may outnumber us daily on the battlefield, your entire server is glass and the level of organization held by your zergs is laughable. While Eredon Terrace may not yet have the same community strength that we Fergs boast, they at least work together to utilize what little numbers they have to their favor. The “HoDomination” you once so proudly bragged over was merely the illusion of mindless zerging— where are your fair-weather battlers now, pray tell?

Your “strategic” plays are moronic (Borderlands over Battleground camps, idiots), your community’s strength is hilariously pathetic (that new PvE content sure is exciting, eh?), and the only thing your server can boast over now is the number of players you possess— mindless players, but still players. You don’t deserve to be green, or even blue, within this tier. The only color your players should, and will, have is red. At least then the rest of the higher tiered servers can have a model example of what happens when a server lacks any sense of teamwork and commitment.

So read what I’ve said, get all worked up with, “YOU’LL SEE, WE’LL BEAT YOU SOON ENOUGH!”; it still won’t be enough. Your reliance on pure numbers has put you in a rut that will take quite a few weeks to get out of. Enjoy the Valley garrison while you can— Eredon Terrace will be claiming it back very soon.

I have many thoughts about both servers, but they stay in my head because forum warriors are so very boring when they regurgitate the same material done on every tier’s forums. I’d just like to give a shout out to the HoD that were on late last night fighting the good fight in EB.

Some great fights happened especially at Jerrifers as the Ferg Zerg failed numerous times to take back our tower with lesser numbers of HoD defending it and little to no siege. That was with ET in Golanta a few times (who passed up FC owned Klovan…really??) to attack us on the backside for a while until we ran off both servers and proceeded to take back our towers and keep. It’s was fantastic teamwork and I was really proud of those HoD who stuck with us ( us as in my guild, because you guys just rule) and helped us pull it off.

I don’t give into conspiracy theories on servers making alliances to double team, but it was so obvious at times last night from viewing the map or watching ET and FC not fight when right in front of each other, that our TS kept erupting into incredulous wtfs.

Regardless, red people from either side are just walking loot bags and I never discriminate. I would ask that more of you start carrying bacon in your loot bags, killing is hard work and I need to be rewarded.

You must be new here, allow me to provide you a heads up, we have been in the bottom tier together long before you or HoD showed up.

We are more like siblings at this point, we have our petty spats, but in the end, we are stuck together.

It was definitely ET’s BS. I would’ve been less surprised if it was FC. To wreckz, ofc you dont rep your entire server, thats why i specifically mentioned your guild. Seems like most times i encounter your peeps, they’re not doing much to help your server’s score. Picking random fights seems to miss the point of wvw but to each his own lol

You don’t quite fully understand what WvW is. It is a platform for player vs player, and player vs door at the same time. [BS] / [Invi] / [OINK] / [KoM] / [PAXA] / (Sometimes [FoE] / (sometimes [SeT], DO NOT play the pvdoor version of WvW. All you zergers seem to think that the “real” way to play wvw is pvdoor and to get points. Wrong. That is A way to play it, we chose the more fulfilling / challenging route of player vs player. We’re all also from a different era of mmo’s. We actually like using more than 3 abilities per fight. We usually use somewhere in the range of 30-40 abilities in 1 minute? Maybe less time?

So yea to each his own. We wont be helping our server’s anytime soon.

Idk why there can’t be a balance of both. I like to think that I go for all aspects of WvW, including running with zergs, structured 15mans, structured 5 mans, solo roaming, and setting up siege and upgrading alone after a tower is capped. I think switching between different types of gameplay is what has kept me playing almost every day for several hours in WvW since launch.

Having been subjected to SF for a few weeks, I doubt it since I’ve yet to see HoD/FC/ET threads closed once let alone 4-5 times. Not all SF’s fault, but to label all of HoD with your tacky name choice shows YOUR classlessness. However, I won’t hold it against your server since I’ve had some great fights with them.

I agree, this has happened to me and my guildies more than a few times, along with getting stuck in walls constantly.

+1, hopefully your post is given some consideration. Still love WvW, but it is a tad stale and a lot of these ideas would be great to work off of and implement.

You’ll see BS from ET and SS/Yarr from FC. None of us really do “roaming” during reset night. Kinda why we were ninjaing towers and keeps last night.

So far I have to say <3 to BS and hope we get to run into you all with just our guild, you have some very skilled players. I’ve not encountered SS or Yarr yet, but I look forward to it.

This tier has been an absolute blast and I’m loving how close the points are. It will be interesting to see how the week pans out with coverage now that the weekend is winding down.

The fights have been a blast and I’ve got my eyes on a few guilds that caught my interest enough to come seek you out for more. HoD, nice to see an entirely different spirit last night. Seems like taking out some internal trash made a huge difference in attitude and cooperation.

So it’s not a comment on your overall status/population/capability.. it’s genuine puzzlement as to where did all those players we’ve been seeing for weeks suddenly disappear to?

The problem isn’t necissarily “where’s HoD”, Khursun clearly has an issue with a person calling HoD “useless”, which is pretty harsh. Server activity goes up, server activity goes down. I’m guessing with a largish guild leaving alongside the beatdown going on, a lot on HoD feel pretty darn low morale. Calling HoD “useless” fora down week, that’s probably less classy than corpsedancing.

My problem is the where is HoD comments of the last few days; being called useless was just the cherry on top as I fight beside the same dedicated people every night and just feel they deserve some respect is all.

That guild leaving will be good for morale as it was like being in junior high on map chat in times talking about WvW….in LA. less talk moar walk, especially with such a large guild that could place more bodies where they could have made difference.

I’m not sure myself, still getting used to this server. I think, as we all know, when you’re winning, people get kitteny and the fair weather WvW players turn up, but once adversity rears its head, poof! On DH we saw it when we went up against Borlis and Anvil and they stomped us. People stopped coming in and it was just the usual core group of WvW fighters. Frankly, I have a hard time seeing why people give up so quickly, but I’m stubborn and a warrior so probably have brain damage.

DH recovered though, so I’m hoping HoD will keep fighting the good fight, educating the new people who come in and learning from SF and NSP so when it balances and we stay or go T8, they will be ready to have some fun again.

Sadly i dont have map screenshots but here is what happened about 8 hours ago.

While NSP and SF were locked in one of the most epic battles in EB, with NSP liberating their keep and SF constantly flooding it with enemies it would have been the perfect opportunity for HoD to strike and take their EB keep back.

But HoD being HoD decided “to hell with our stuff lets go hit NSP while they are busy”….nice garrison try btw.

I went to bed less than 6 hours ago with EB keep safely in NSP hands, sieged to the teeth with t2 walls, cannons and siege everywhere.

Logged on this morning to find EB 100% green again and keep at t2… As much as everyone would like to blame NSP for its loss, we really cant compete with the numbers (yet again im not saying all at once, i mean a steady numbers coverage) of SF. The people of NSP have proven themselves last nigh in my eyes.

Problem is, atm its NSP vs SF in NSP spawn… im pretty sure SF don’t even have to look at the HoD side, bar maybe 1 guy to mount the siege there.

To SF, thank you for awesome fights last night, I hope we have proved a worthy enough opponent.
To HoD… at this stage im glad you guys are on your way to t8, proven more than useless.

You know that for the longest time tonight, while NSP tried to grab stonemist from us (which we held you guys in the lord room, preventing you from capping), HoD was fighting for their keep, so we had to split our forces to fight both server. Once they decided to abandon and go to bed, the night crew came up and decided to go into your BL. HoD didnt go straight for your stuff.

Thanks, I was wondering what happened with the keep as I had to go to bed. HoD got mad last night for a while anyhow and took our BL back, but started losing stuff again as we became scattered on maps. Some of us stayed in our BL to defend, but I know many went back to the keep in EB. Sounds like some went to NSP and good on them, but perhaps it spread us too thinly since it sounds like our EB keep remained SFs. I wish we had the numbers to compete properly, but still having fun regardless.

We can chalk it off at that….PAXA doesn’t run EB….EVER. Zergfest 2013 isn’t for us. Even though most BL’s resemble, EB is by far worse.

Plus actually reporting someone in game is like tattling in grade school to get some kid no recess…you just don’t do it.

I have no idea what that last part is about, but I avoid drama so ill leave you to it.

We rarely zerg in my group, so i cant really say much besides it looks boring to do constantly. We enjoy the satisfaction in taking on groups that might be more than like we can handle and seeing if we come out on top. I don’t really care which BL I’m in, we make it fun anywhere.

yes sorry mursie for not mentionning my class , I’m playing as a warr and I’m not using a berserker jewel (edit: using soldier’s amulet actually) still I die pretty fast against guardians
do you think it is normal for a class to have a 20 sec poison ? that’s just non sense especially if you have no condition removal skill in your bar :/

Melandru runes and lemongrass poultry soup… Tbh though, not sure you can use food in there as I’m always in WvW, but those two items are great for cutting down condition duration for warriors.

No you cant use food in spvp, weird that you dont know something you would learn immidiatly from 1 game of spvp when commenting in the spvp forums. O.o

Gotta give props to the solo VLK thief I kept bumping into today in EB. I swear I must’ve spent like ~30 min either dueling with you or trying to chase you down. I don’t think either of us managed to kill the other without outside help (I was the TFG sylvari engineer). Those were some nice (and long) fights.

Anyhow I wanted to congratulate you on being able to single-handedly frustrate the entire guild lol…

Lol, he’s quite talented. I’ve watched him (from the ground) frustrate huge groups for long periods. I want to make a video for him one of these days so he can see just how funny it is.
