Would be lovely to fix invisibility on thieves too as they mostly abuse it in WvW to take advantage over oponent and we all know that this skill doesnt work as it suppose to work. Other thing, finishing enemy from stealth should be considered as offensive move wich breaks invisibility. No badges or decrease the dropchance to the group who kill you when u have outnumbered buff. (when 10 ppl suddenly jump on u from behind there is nothink you can do). Its like beating a crippled guy and screaming woohoo im a king a beat him!! – nothink really honorable about it. Decreasing repair cost from death in wvw could help too. btw thx for Alt+F4.
Visunah Square is tier one server from start of the game. Speaking about them in negative is just silly. You guys are true powerhouse and i can only /salute you and hope that Blacktide will manage to do the same in top tier.
I know Blacktide is sleeping at this moment, some guilds are taking a break as they don’t have motivation to fight anymore but i hope they will realise that we can drop down if we don’t wake up soon.

And the most funniest thing is that u dont need good and skilled players, u dont even need good organized guilds. WvW is not about PVP. All u need are full bordelands with masses of brainless cows who follow commander carry supply and do some dmg
I would like to hear opinion of other people about their experiences with daily fractals.
When i started fractals run (10+ dailies) i was so excited about it, so many rare and ofc ascendant, i got 3 total but now its seems that somethink going on with drop rate and drop chance. I did like 8+ dailies lvl 10 and lvl 20 also and so far no ascendet ring.
So im asking myself, am I just terribly unlucky or did anet decrease a chance to get it?

There is a easy solution for that. If they think they gonna make easy kill while you are downed and they doing it in stealth do a magic trick called perma stealth) – alt F4 Both of those actions are legal until they are claimed to be illegal and bannable. hf

Mate BT let AS to cap at AS bl for a whole week witout any decent offense from BT thats why u been fighting only VS. And btw its fault of AS that they lost like 15k on VS and end up 3rd. This last fight before restart is so exciting that i decided to do a little math .
If the restart will be at 1am, each team score will tick 33 times until restart.
Current scores:

AS 178090
Let set the scenario where VS will do really well and earn 540/tick, BT 100/tick and AS 55/tick. Ofc the score will be a bit different because dolyaks make some points too.
The final score will be:

I think it is reasonable to expect that just as PvE players can get “max gear” through PvE, WvW players should be able to get “max gear” through WvW.
But all I’ve found is a vague statement that there will eventually be multiple paths to get Ascended gear. That could mean anything. For example, World of Warcraft has multiple paths to get gear… and it also has a fairly rigid system of first- and second-class citizens. There are better/faster paths (raiding & arenas reward tier N) and worse/slower paths (heroics & battlegrounds reward tier N-1).
I love Guild Wars 2, but my long-term interest in the game is strictly for the WvW.
So, my question:
When and how will Ascended gear be available through WvW play?
Also PVE oriented people have to spend long time in WvW even if they dont care about WvW just to get 500 badges for their legendary. last time a mentioned this issue, some “wise” people told me (dont have your legendary – problem solved), and u know what i did? I grind those 500 badges. And the same go to PVP oriented playes. Sometimes life doesnt go your way but if u wanna have best in slot items u have to do things that you consider boring just to get gear u want.

if the 1.5 silver repair bill seems like a lot, grab a couple people and go capture a camp. kill the yaks that are there, and you’ve actually turned a profit on the whole deal and helped your team out to boot.

are you familiar with the phrase “two wrongs don’t make a right”? if the rendering BUG is affecting a thief, it doesn’t give people the right to alt +f4 out of the game. one is involuntary, the other is voluntary. one will be fixed, the other shows a complete lack of character.
and…… elementalists gain damage immunity. that means that, no, no one can kill them during the stomp. they’re immune to damage. so they get the stomp in regardless of how many people are swatting at them. the same goes for the other classes that can use damage immunity to stomp. also, in case you’re not aware, a thief ISN’T immune to damage while in stealth. if you have someone in the downed state, you should expect a stomp to be coming in on them. stealth, damage immune, or otherwise. toss out some AoE. you can kill the thief, but you can’t kill the damage immune classes.
but regardless of how the stomp mechanics work, it doesn’t justify ragequitting like a child because you got beat up in a VIDEO GAME.
Ok right here, and right now i can promise you, if they fix reendering issues im not gona use alt-F4 against thief if he manage to get me down.

How do you counter a mist form elementalist? Or a mesmer with distortion? Or engineer with their evade elixir? Or a warrior with endure pain?
I am not a fan of thieves either but Alt-f4ing is just being a poor sport.
Ahh ok ill explain, allies can actualy see enemy and at least try to stop ele, mesmer, engineer or warr, but they can do nothink about invis thief wich is about to end you and they dont even know hes casting it because of invis. If they disable finishing move from stealth i would be happy and im not gona use it against thieves But anyway there could be a solution – 100% drop chance for badges if your oponent press alt F4. I believe both sides will be satisfied with that.

Badge of “honor” supose to be a reward for a “honorable” kill not when u destroy someone within 1-2 sec in 20vs1 fight because you are invisible thx to reendering issues. Repair cost could be lower a bit. Also finishing player by invisible thief is a bit unfair cause it cant be countered. Im sure if Anet fix those things it will reduce the amount of ppl who use AltF4.

what’s funny here, is to see how much we were when we all forced to go to the LA before the update of the game… not even 30 players on 4 maps and we were able to deff against at least twice our numbers.
these 30 playesr ( more or less) are almost always there to play at night, this haven’t changed, so plz … have fun :p

I think it’s a shame that people these days don’t have the honor/sportsmanship to stick with their team even when they’re losing.

Because people from VS transfering to AS and ppl from AS transfering to VS and basicaly this is going on between all FR,DE and international servers including NA servers and noone rly care about it. If guild from T5 server move to T4 server noone will even notice it. But it become a big deal when ppl move from Deso to BT.
TBH I keep finger crossed for Arborstone. Next week might be really interesting and I’d love to see french servers working together. BT would face real challange at long last
I see Arborstone is working really hard to get into T1 just to loose their will to fight after 2-3 days. Sad
For those major guilds who dont like RUIN on blacktide its easy to handle it, just go back to far shiverpeaks, desolation, or any other lower tier server.
Easy, but as soon as they reach T1 Ruin will transfer, so its just temporary action.
Sadly we encountered this technic a lot last week. Not only on supply camps, but on every capture points. They’re very proud of this, they’ve made videos to show their people how to do it. I even heard they do it with 5 thieves.
Imagine how you feel after a 3 hours siege on Ttonemist, when 1 guy prevent you from capping by using this lame (but legit, thanks Anette) technic, and you get crushed by the zerg after 3min of chasing.

Oh yeah, i have to tell you something : i know well the Russian on Blacktide. They are the Disorder League (NuGs, GreenFire, Zds, etc) and they are great fighters. We fought them a lot of weeks, because they were Far Shiverpeaks main force. Some fights versus them gave me goosebumps.
But on Desolation, i like IRON too. And one day, we had our hardest fight versus Bacon Bacon (Yum) are they still on Deso?
Last time i saw some Bacon was yesterday on my plate I really never met any other bacons around

Maybe its wrong maybe not but as long as its allowed nothing gonna change about it. I understand that for you could be unfair but lets not talk about Ruin for a bit. There is another great Russian army from Blacktide. They cover +12 timezones. They have massive and well organized members and i dont thing there is any excuse why for example they should not play on Eu servers. Well there have been lot of informations about some canadians guild in VS who left for lack of entertaiment or somethink else, i dont know i it has been confirmed even by players from VS.
It’s really simple : when i started to build Grand Cross, i sent my friend “rui”, guildmaster of little CaSu guild. Like the name say, they are CaSu, and they all stopped early. Except Muan. Because “rui” is a little bit, ok totally crazy, he made this to troll everyone.

Although i tend to agree with you most of the time Archaos i have to disagree with the plan to push more US players here, the numbers in our BL’s are pushing crazy levels, 1-2 hour waits are not acceptable, this has become more and more since we went T1 now every guild and their cat wants to transfer here.
I respect RUIN and the job you do but flooding the server isnt a good plan imo.
The thing is that Desolation dont have any queue at 1am – 10 am CET and if yes, it dont take more then 5-10 mins to join at that time. But i have to agree during the day when ppl come back from school/work the server is flooded but at that time most of american ppl are not online.
As a player from Desolation would love to see Blacktide in the Tier they rightfully deserve and thats T1. From what i have seen you are pushing really hard at day and also at night towards victory in T2. My expectations for future, when Blactide move to T1 are that during the day it will be very even on each side Deso/BT/VS but during the night VS dont stand a chance against servers with 24/7 coverage. Have u any idea how many randoms join nightcaping to help Ruin just to get fast karma gold and loot from capping? Yes Ruin play a big role but if they didnt have all those random ppl who like to jump on “nightcapping train” u would be probably 1st for a very long time

I live in Europe and mostly im working at night just like milions other europenas. FR-DE-ES does have a chance but they not gonna be able too keep up in long-term. What about Russia with their 12 timezones? Basicaly its the same situation like with ppl from NA and i dont think they gonna move to NA servers just to make anyone feel better. Noone can be 1st forever mate. Every sever can be beaten at the right circumstances.

If u play for fun, play for fun, if u play for score move to NA or other non-(DE,FR,ES) server. Everyone is trying to get 24/7 coverage and u cant be selfish and deny it to them. Jomg i would like to let u know that there are lot of ppl in RUIN who are actually not from NA but circumstances forced them to play at night, especialy those who work at night. And even without RUIN there is massive amount of randoms who love to be part of night capping enviroment. The solution for FR servers could be Canadian guilds. I know that talk is cheap but with decent amount of effort im sure u can get some of them to help your server so the map not gonna look like this at 6:20 am CET:
