@TheOneWhoSighs Thank you very much for your answer, I can see clearer now and I think I’ll stick to my Rev. My server isn’t so strong about wvw but who am I to criticize since I haven’t played for so long. But I feel like they want at least 2 guards per group of 5, that’s so much, half the blog is guards !

If I don’t get my builds from metabattle where do I get them from ? I mean okay I should learn to play and find out. But as for the players who can’t play this much, “meta” builds are kind of a great way to get started

Hello I’m back to the game after stopping for a couple years, I’ve been mainly playing guard necro or elem before, I’m only playing wvw and I plan on doing zerg and gvg mainly as I’ve always done before.

Thing is, I’ve done a little bit of zerging and I have a feeling that people only want guards… I’ve started playing my rev but most of the zerg was asking me if I didn’t mind switching to guard .. I’m mean come on, I’m fed up playing my guard !

What are the classes beside guard that are highly valuable to a Zerg and/or a GvG ? What classes are the most useful and which shall I really not go into as for this very purpose ? I just want to be useful to my team without playing guard.

BTW, I am not looking for an OP class, just one of the useful ones

I’ve been playing Ranger for quite a while in PvE and I feel like Trying my luck in WvW. The thing is I’m not quite familiar with the best builds to run with.

I pretty much know that everybody should build he’s own build according to preferences and experiences but what I’m looking for is a starting build for Roaming. Once I try it out I can change some things if I feel like.

I’ve seen in some of your posts that the Tanky/Regen/Condition build is quite efficient in Roaming nowdays but I cannot find any recent version of this build. Could someone give one to me ?

Oh and please, I know a lot of you are unhappy about the previous patch but I don’t care, I just wanna play Ranger, nomatter what. So please link me some good Tanky regen condi build and you’ll make my day <3

Hi ! I’ve been trying your build around recently, I come for some feedback and ask some things :

First let’s talk about my background : I’ve always played as a conditionmancer roaming and I know really few of power/Well builds. So there may be stupid questions I beg you to forgive ^^

1) I found Axe + Warhorn really efficient, doing exactly what is needed while Zerging : Retaliation for more damage, #2 for being sure to loot a bag when zerg vs small group. I just read this trick about #5 WH + Plague, it seems pretty obvious to me now but I’ll try that next time I log on^^

2)I have a deep question… What is staff for ? I’m sure this must sound really stupid when you have the answer but … are you using the staff for the chilling/poisoning/explosion ability ? Because for sure it’s really good but I seldom switch to staff befause I usually finish people with Axe. I read above that you said Axe isn’t made for dealing damage in that build so I must do it wrong… explain me ! =)

3)I just subscribed you YT channel and saw you didn’t upload much zerging for quite a long time … Please bring on fresh content ! I’ll gladly give you views and likes.

4) It has been 3 months since you uploaded this build… Did it change in any way ?

I think Golem is definitely the best when it comes to 1v1 (when it doesn’t bug …) But if I have to 1v2 or 1v3, I like to stack conditions then turn into plague and buy me some time thanks to the extra toughness and the blinding ability.

I usually alway go out with plague since I often meet small group already fighting each other when I’m roaming. In such situation you may curse your bugged Golem ! (imo)

He doesn’t have 20 in blood since his well of suffering has 45s cd I feel like he has a lot of power and precision.
He got the staff cd reduction
