It just seems unreasonably difficult to do, especially considering how easy all the other jp’s are. It was hard enough just to get the magnificent chest, but to then have to turn around, do the whole thing again, only this time its even harder, just to get to the goggles is maddening.
Its 6-7 min length and complexity alone wouldn’t be a problem, but there’s too many places where a mistake will have you wp, enemies respawn unusually quickly, and the enemies on and around the ship can often cause perma combat even though they’ve disengaged.
Please do something to make the diving goggles potion of this jp more easily accomplished.
It’s locked more often than not. It’s interesting really; that there’d be this mini-game that you can almost never play, and that it’d be this face-smashingly difficult. If this were a regular fps game, I’d think nothing of the strict requirements for gold. However, this is GW2, and the shooting mechanics here are not cut out for precision shooting.
Please increase the time allotted to compensate for GW2s nuanced gameplay mechanics
Only 1/330 members in my guild have managed gold in this adventure, it took him 1.5 cumulative hours, and his description of the affair is “Absolutely the worst. I’m never doing it again.” Honestly, the shooting gallery is a great concept for one of these adventures. This one is just a bit too hard for most players. Whether it’s the clunky, sluggish, Frankenstein ability-casting fps mechanic, weird, imprecise camera, random spawning, or just the adventure being locked down most of the time, this particular experience leaves me salty.
The box is shrunk as small as it will go and moving it to the top doesn’t help. I guess I’ll just leave the U.I. size at small since that’s the only thing that fixes it for now.
Shrinking the box doesn’t move it to the bottom. And thanks, I love them.
I just changed locations and consequently monitors as well. I went from 1920×1080 to 1360×768 and now my chat box is in the middle left side of my screen. Switching my U.I. size to “small” fixes it, but changing to any other size presents with the same problem. Any ideas?
