[Suggestions] Please Bring Back these Gem Stores Items

So you’ll release bunny ears and the wizard hat but not aviators? It’s single handedly the most requested and anticipated item to be put back into the gem store and was also in the group of items that was removed due to “not fitting”.

Come on.

Toxic, good player or bad, nice player?

Kind of a loaded question as is.
Being toxic, being a good player or not, usually means that person is going to either be on tilt out of this world and thus probably playing like kitten regardless, or putting their teammates on tilt and making them play like kitten.

Ideally the best situation here is having someone who is a toxic good player but isn’t letting it affect their game play on a team that is competent and confident enough in themselves to not let whatever is going on get to them.

But this rarely ever happens.

So in the situation where my team is a bunch of softies (as most of the community is, lets be honest here), I’d rather have a nice kitten tier player who is actually trying, as long as they can listen and follow directions nine times out of ten you can usually pull through a win if they 100% listen regardless of how bad at their class they are and your teammates are listening, aware, and are rotating as needed.

Having one bad player is a lot easier to work around if the rest of you are actually decent then having an entire team that is tilted and playing like kitten.

How ANET can repair our relationship...

It honestly just feels like Anet is scrambling to keep the game “fresh” at this point. People are complaining left and right about there being nothing to do, that HoT content was great – at first. Unfortunately it just seems their only idea of adding something “new” is through the living story.. which isn’t all that true because after the first week or so of a living story release, it’s completely stale for most of the general community. Months of work is flushed in less then two weeks. Then it’s just rinse and repeat from there, release some costumes, and then turn around and tell the community “we don’t have enough people to work on the things you really want out of the game, so here’s some bullkitten we worked on instead.”

I’m not saying living story is completely terrible, I’m not saying they should toss it or completely halt its production, but they’re leaving base game content, events, etc that had a greater longevity, like WvW and the season tournies to rot in the back of the storage closet that should have a priority over living story.

Achiever: 60%
Explorer: 33%
Griefer: 80%
Socializer: 27%

Why is being PVP orientated considered griefing? ):

I don’t get the point of working on the second expansion when you don’t have the resources to finish what was promised in the first one, lol.

I guess that’s cool, people who paid for the expansion won’t get the promised content but at least we’ll have another crap shot living story chapter to do for a week!

TL;DR GW2 endgame isn’t for everyone. Enjoy the questing and everything else as you so please, whether that’s rushing through it or going at it slowly, enjoy it. Maybe you’ll enjoy endgame, maybe you won’t.

Why we can`t use DPS meter?

Okay so aside from everyone being too scared to get their feelings hurt and ego deflated over a video game, which is pretty much the only reason why people don’t want one at this point, I personally would enjoy a DPS meter even if it just measures my DPS.

It’s nice for the people who choose to min/max their kitten and enjoy getting the best possible DPS out of their class. I don’t see why a large majority of people constantly suffer because of carebears in these types of situations.

This "Meta" has to end

For what god forsaken reason would anyone want to run anything but zerker in PVE? I can see if like, someone got upset over a Guardian not wanting to run zerker and getting kicked.. but any other class? Why? There is absolutely no logical legitimate reason other than wanting to be a special snowflake and take more time than needed to complete an instance.

This isn’t a kittening meta, it’s just logical.

healer class?

You’ll probably enjoy Elementalist over Guardian if you really want to “heal support”. Guardian is more of a buffing support, where Elementalist has a lot more straight healing potential.

Both specced as support are pretty good, actually, despite what some may say along the way.

Get a greatsword.

Honestly axe/mace (for me) was really only dmg efficient on dungeon bosses for obvious reasons.

Try out greatsword and stack power as your main stat, you shouldn’t have any problems with your damage. Your Whirlwind Attack on Greatsword also counts as an evade too, so doing things like skill points, vets, etc will be a bit forgiving because of the extra dodge.

Also start practicing dodging early, it’s very important for classes like Warrior to be able to get in melee range and know how to dodge around attacks in dungeons. It will make your gameplay a lot less frustrating too when you start getting a bit better at it.

Still waiting for end game content

“Where is my high level end game rewarding content ive been waiting for so long?”
I don’t care,simple as that….go and search it…
I found my end game content.

This. I feel like GW2 is the type of game that just kinda doesn’t have a set standard of “here is all your exclusive end game content to do!” you get in other MMOs. You find and kinda “make” your own end game content, and if you can’t seem to find it, well GW2 just might not be for you.

I don’t get why they even bothered with this “Ooooooooo neat underwater combat!” function of the game if they were just going to neglect it tbh.

I don’t see why paying a few silver is this big of a deal, tbh.
Do your daily instances, kill some mobs in Southsun Cove, go kill some people in WvW even. I mean really, it’s not this hard.

Race Change

I get ANet doesn’t want to do it, etc, fine, but players such as some in this topic going on about how it’s “breaking immersion” – just stop, lol. Shoving your personal views on the game down other players throats is ridiculous. Not everyone is as involved, interested, or invested in the games lore and the characters personal story.

ANet has their reasons, OP just wanted to know if the new change to the storyline would make it “easier” to sneak in a race change product, not your opinion of why it shouldn’t happen or how important the storyline is to you.
